Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease caused by a lack of insulin production or by ineffective insulin production. This causes an increase in the concentration of glucose in the blood (hyperglycemia), a condition that damages many of the body's systems, especially the blood vessels and nerves. To determine the impact of providing digital-based diabetic neurophaty complication prevention education.  This type of research is quantitative with a research design, namely quasi-experimental using a one group pre-post test design approach. The sample size in this study was 25 respondents, using purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The data analysis used is the Paried T-test. From the results of statistical tests using the paired t test, it can be seen that the results of the post and pre-test with a significance of 0.000, which means p <α (0.05) where the value of p <α means that it can be concluded that there is an influence in providing Education for Prevention of Complications of Diabetic Neuropathy Based Digital. The results of this study can be used as input for health institutions in providing education on diabetic foot exercises as a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce blood sugar levels and prevent complications of neuropathy, especially in people with diabetes mellitus. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetic Foot Exercise, Education   ABSTRAK Diabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit kronis yang disebabkan karena kekurangan produksi insulin atau oleh tidak efektifnya insulin yang dihasilkan. Hal ini menyebabkan peningkatan konsentrasi glukosa dalam darah (hiperglikemia), kondisi yang akan merusak banyak sistem tubuh, khususnya pembuluh darah dan saraf. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam memberikan Edukasi Pencegahan Komplikasi Neuropati Diabetik Berbasis Digital. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu quasi eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Adapun besarnya sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 25 responden, dengan menggunakan purposive sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji paried T-tes. Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji paired t test maka dapat dilihat bahwa hasil post dan pretest dengan signifikansi 0.000 yang artinya p <α (0,05) yang dimana nilai p <α maka disimpulkan ada pengaruh dalam memberikan edukasi pencegahan komplikasi neuropati diabetik berbasis digital. Penelitian ini dapat dipergunakan sebagai bahan masukan bagi institusi kesehatan dalam memberikan edukasi senam kaki diabetik sebagai terapi non farmakologi untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah dan mencegah terjadinya komplikai neuropati khususnya pada pasien diabetes melitus Kata Kunci: Diabetes Melitus, Senam Kaki Diabetes, Edukasi

Abstract

The purpose of this research study is to determine the implementation of sharia management with syirkah mudharabah in conducting business expansion at the Laundry Palace in Samarinda and business strategies in expanding business at the Laundry Palace in Samarinda. The research method used is a type of field research (field research). Researchers used a triangulation approach in collecting data. Data collection techniques using interviews / interviews, field observations and documentation. The data analysis model in this study follows the concept given by Miles & Huberman. Miles & Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, verification or data inference and conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) Implementation of sharia management with syirkah mudharabah in conducting business expansion at the Laundry Palace based on management functions, namely: a) Planning (planning), b) Organizing, c) Actuating, and d) Controlling (controlling). Meanwhile 2) Implementation of business strategies in conducting business expansion at Istana Laundry based on the basic elements of strategic management, namely: a) Environmental observation using SWOT analysis, b) Strategy formulation based on the results of SWOT analysis, c) Implementation of strategies carried out by Istana Laundry from the results of the formulation strategy and d) Evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a learning module based on the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe, find out the steps for developing the module, and determine the feasibility of a learning module based on the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe in social studies material for fifth-grade students at SDN 22 Ampenan. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN 22 Ampenan with ten fifth-grade students as subjects. Data collection tools use questionnaires or questionnaires. The steps in developing a module are: 1) Analysis: perform performance analysis and analysis of student needs; 2) Design: design the module from cover to bibliography, determine KD, Indicators, Learning Objectives, materials, and activity evaluation; 3) Development: the module that has been designed is printed, validated by material experts and media experts then revised according to suggestions, 4) Implementation: the module is applied to students to see the students' response in using the module, 5) Evaluation: evaluation is carried out in the form of tests on participants students to see the students' understanding of the material. The results of research and development of learning modules based on local wisdom of the Sasak tribe in the fifth-grade social studies material show that it is very suitable for use in the learning process; this is based on the validation results of media experts at 77.64% (feasible), material experts at 93.6% (very feasible), and the student response was 81.38% (very feasible).

Abstract

This study discusses the motivation of students in reading procedure text in class II at SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. This research is important because by analyzing students' motivation they can prepare steps to improve students' reading skills. The data analysis technique that the researcher did was descriptive quantitative. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The results showed that there was a significant analysis of student learning motivation. It can be shown that from 36 students in reading procedure text there are 13 students (85%-100%) in the strongly positive category, 17 students (69%-84%) in the positive category, 4 students (53%-68%) in the positive category. moderate, and 2 students (37%-52%) in the negative category.Keywords: Analysis Motivation, Reading Skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine teachers’ perception on students’ difficulties in pronunciation. The researcher used a qualitative approach and conducted with a semi-structure interview for this research. The data resource in this research was an English teacher that teach grade 7,8, and 9 SMP Sanur Makassar. It was obtained from interview with 9 questions and the English teacher as the respondent. The result of the research concluded that: teachers perceive that on average students have low pronunciation skills, this is influenced by the fact that English is a different language from students' everyday language, students' lack of self-confidence, and students believe that English is the most difficult language. With this challenge, teachers overcome it by giving students motivation, giving students pronunciation practice with friends or groups so that students can be directly involved in activities to improve pronunciation skills. In addition, teachers provide media such as videos and songs in English, so that students can imitate the correct pronunciation of native speakers. The media used by the teacher have a positive impact on the students' pronunciation. difficulties in pronunciation of English can be caused by interference from the student's first language. In addition, in the context of English learning, teachers who understand students' difficulties in understanding and pronouncing sounds can influence the teaching methods they apply. This shows that teachers' perceptions of students' pronunciation abilities can influence the learning approaches they use. Assessing students' pronunciation skills is an important aspect of language education. Furthermore, research has shown that teachers' observations and interactions with students on a daily basis can provide reliable information about students' pronunciation abilities and students demonstrated varying levels of improvement in their pronunciation when speaking English. In conclusion, the data collected by the researcher and the findings are influence of teachers' perceptions on their learning approaches and emphasize the importance of understanding students' pronunciation abilities. This highlights the need for effective pronunciation instruction and assessment methods in language education.Keywords: Teachers’ Perception, Pronunciation.

Abstract

Eugenol, derived from clove leaf essential oil, possesses antibiotic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of eugenol as a feed additive on carcass percentage and carcass components in broiler chickens. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used, with four treatments and five replications. Two hundred 1-week-old chicks with an average initial body weight of 142.257.75 g were allocated into 20 cage plots. The treatments were: E0 (Basal ration), E1 (Basal ration + 0.5% eugenol), E2 (Basal ration + 1.0% eugenol), and E3 (Basal ration + 1.5% eugenol). Carcass percentage and carcass component percentages were measured. Analysis of variance revealed a highly significant effect (P0.01) on carcass percentage and upper thigh percentage; a significant effect (P0.05) on the percentage of breast, wings, and back; and no significant effect (P0.05) on the percentage of the lower thigh. The 1% eugenol treatment achieved the highest carcass percentage (77.751.04%), breast percentage (39.020.61%), and upper thigh percentage (17.800.09%) compared to other treatments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Solving method on the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences in class V SDN 1 Kawo. The type of research used by researchers in this study is the type of Quasi Experimental Design. The research method used is experimental research. In this study, there were two class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class is a class that is given treatment in the form of Problem Solving methods while the control class is a class that uses conventional methods. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion entitled the influence of problem solving models on science lessons, ecosystem material on the learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN 1 Kawo, there are t test results and it is known that the average pre-test is 18.21 after a post-test of 21.00 so that the increase is 2.79. Furthermore, based on the t test, a calculated value of 15.694 was obtained. The t value of the table with df 32 at a significant level of 5% is 2.037. Therefore t count> ttableOr ( 15.694 > 2.037) and the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05) so that it can be stated that there is a significant increase in the learning outcomes score of experimental group students or those given learning with the Problem Solving model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of language rules in the description text of grade V students of SDN 2 Karang Bayan for the 2021/2022 school year. The subjects of this study were class V students consisting of 16 male students and 12 female students. The object of this study are sentences on the student's description text. The data collection technique used is documentation of the results of student description texts written individually. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, which is research that aims to describe data in the form of description text related to the linguistic rules of description text with words clearly and in detail. Data processing used by researchers is reading all student description texts, marking errors by coding, grouping data according to the type of error, describing errors, and correcting errors. The results of this study show that the use of linguistic rules in student description texts includes 11 aspects, including nouns, adjectives, transitive verbs, adverbs, standard and non-standard words, connotations and denotations, self-created words, the use of capital letters, word writing, punctuation writing, and figurative language. The use of linguistic rules in student description texts is categorized as very low because it reaches a percentage of 44%. This means that there are still many students who are wrong in using language rules when writing. Meanwhile, the use of inappropriate language rules reached a percentage of 56%. Most students do not apply the rules when writing, especially in writing student description texts. The most common mistakes made by students on the use of capital letters and punctuation writing. Indications that cause errors occur because they are still affected by everyday language and students' inaccuracy after the end of sentences using appropriate punctuation marks so that students do not pay attention to good and correct language rules.

Abstract

The role of the mosque for the Muslim community is very important. One of them apart from being a place of worship, the mosque is used as a center for da'wah activities which will determine the development of Muslims in the area. This study aims to investigate the management of mosques in East Kalimantan and the management of da'wah carried out at the Grand Mosque in East Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this study is a deep interview research method with primary data sources obtained through interviews with mosque leaders in East Kalimantan. The results of the study indicate that the management of the grand mosque in East Kalimantan is very organized which is carried out through the establishment of an organizational structure on a regular basis. The management of da'wah in the East Kalimantan region is very regular which is carried out through various media such as television, radio, internet, and direct studies carried out in mosques. This da'wah activity is strongly influenced by the management aspect of the board, the availability of funds. The inhibiting factor in carrying out da'wah is the mechanism for determining the board of directors.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this research is to find out how the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in the implementation of guidance and counseling and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This study uses a type of qualitative research with field research research methods (Field Research). The data source for this research is the subject where the data is obtained, namely the respondent. The main data sources come from interviews and observations of high school guidance and counseling teachers in East Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research will be analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in Guidance and Counseling for Senior High Schools in East Kalimantan was running effectively which was proven by the delivery of guidance and counseling messages which contained the principles of counseling guidance, including: good and true words (Qaulan Sadidan and Qaulan Ma'rufa), communicative words (Qaulan Balighan), light words (Qaulan Masyura'), gentle words (Qaulan Layyina), and noble words (Qaulan Karima). The supporting factors in the implementation of counseling guidance are adequate and competent human resources, visible and invisible facilities and infrastructure, forms of cooperation between parents and the school, as well as periodic supervision. The inhibiting factors of the implementation of counseling guidance are the knowledge gap and the background of the students.
