Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the ability of respondents in writing personal letters in terms of aspects: 1) content, 2) composition of content, 3) sentence structure, 4) vocabulary, and 5) mechanics or spelling. The research method used is a qualitative method with the population of all students of Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Badar amounting to 152 respondents. Until in this study 25% of the population was as many as 38 respondents, with a random sample technique. Data collection is done by giving tests to respondents making personal letters. Analysis of the use of scale and using the mean equation. The results of the analyse of students ability in writing personal letter at XI class of sma negeri 1 Badar. it is known that the ability to write look after analyzed by using categories, 10 respondents get a good category with a percentage of 26%, 28 of the respondents who get the category enough with a percentage of 74%. On average, the ability to write a personal letter to the overall show on the criteria enough. The respondents personal letter writing ability score is on the qualification with the acquisition of the respondents overall average score of 68.11 data analysis results of each aspect can be seen from the average value of each aspect assessed in writing a personal letter, namely in the aspect: Result of content 21,87obtaining enough categories, organisational aspects of the content 13,42 with enough criteria, aspects of sentence structure 14,03 with good criteria, aspects of vocabulary 1o on Good criteria, and aspects of mechanics or spelling 8,79 with enough criteria.

Abstract

This study deals with the effect of explicit instruction method in ability to make procedure text at class XI in SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Bulan Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use explicit instruction has a significance effect in make procedure text. Population and samples used in this study were all students of class X total 36 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pre-test and post-test design. This study was carried on using quantitative method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pretest mean = 43,05 , deviation standard = 4,48 and experienced an increase in the posttest mean = 80,83, deviation standard = 4,55. From this analysis, writer found that guided explicit instruction method has significance in teaching writing procedure text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 35,64 was higher than “ttable” about 2,030 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use explicit instruction method in teaching make procedure text so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This study deals with the students’ ability in reading comprehension during tha pandemic of covid 19 at X class in SMA Negeri 1 Badar Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to know student ability in reading comprehension during pandemic Covid 19. The research is done by collecting the data and scoring the result of the answer and quantitative method to find out the result. This research is enough to know the aim of this research is an analyzing of students’ in reading ability during the Pandemic of Covid 19 at X Class in SMA Negeri 1 Badar by focusing on Recount Text ability.The data was analyzed and researcher found The students who were taught The Pandemic Of Covid 19 got better achievement that those who were taught by using conventional technique that was Teacher. the highest score of the pre-test was 65 and the lowest was 45. While the highest score of post-test was 90 and the lowest was 70. The result of means of Pre-Test was 54.67 while the result of deviation standard was 6.18 And the result of means of Post-Test was 80.33. While the result of deviation standard was 5.91. From this research, it was found that the can cause a positive, which is proven from the result of the test, t_test>t_tableor ( 16.55> 2.04 ) there is significance Students Ability in Reading Chomprehension During Skill The Pandemic Of Covid 19

Abstract

This study deals with the use video to improve students’ procedure text writing class XI SMA Swasta Darul Iman Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use video has a significance effect in writing procedure text. Population used in this study of class XI and samples used in this study were 64 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pre-test and post-test design. This study was carried on using quantitative method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pre-test mean = 55,39 , deviation standard = 3,26 and experienced an increase in the post-test mean = 80,31 deviation standart = 3,66.From this analysis, writer found that guided video has significane in teaching writing procedure text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “” observed about 40,85 was higher than “t-table” about 1,998 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use video in teaching writing procedure text so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This study deals with the effect of using pictorial poster on student ability in writing descriptive text in viii class of SMP Negeri 4 Badar Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is How The Effect to descriptive text of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Ketambe using Pictoral Poster effective?. The population on the research is the students of SMP Negeri 4. The sample that used is 1 class total 30 student. The research design is a research using Quantitative research methods using a descriptive approach. A descriptive approach is used to collect data systematically, factually, and quickly according to the description when the research was carried out. The students who were taught by Using Pictorial Poster got better achievement that those who were taught by using conventional technique that was Teacher. the highest score of the pre-test was 65 and the lowest was 45. While the highest score of post-test was 85 and the lowest was 70. The result of means of Pre-Test was 55.33 while the result of deviation standard was 6.32 And the result of means of Post-Test was 78.50. While the result of deviation standard was 5.35 From this research, it was found that the Using Pictorial Poster can cause a positive, which is proven from the result of the test, > or ( 15.44> 2.04 ) there is significance Students Ability in Writing Descriptive Text Skill By Using Pictorial Poster Class VIII Of SMP Negeri 4 Badar In Academic Year 2021/2022.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study deals with the effect of snowball throwing model in ability to writing recount text at class X in SMA Negeri Lawe Sumur Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use snowball throwing model has a significance effect in writing recount text. Population and samples used in this study were all students of class X total 36 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pretest and posttest design .This study was carried on using quantitave method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pretest mean = 50,97 , deviation standard = 2,87 and experienced an increase in the posttest mean = 78,47, deviation standart = 3,69. From this analysis, writer found that guided snowball throwing model has significane in teaching writing recount text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 35,26 was higher than “ttable” about 2,030 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use snowball throwing model in teaching writing recount text so that the teaching and learning process can be successful

Abstract

Objective: One of the efforts in realizing quality human resources is the guarantee of health quality. One of the indicators used to measure the quality of health is infant mortality rate (IMR). LBW is one of the main causes of infant mortality, with 40% of all child deaths occurring during the neonatal period. Cumulatively, about 15.5% of all deliveries are LBW and 95.6% occur in developing countries. (Sari 2021). Anemia that occurs during pregnancy is one of the major problems that occur. The impact caused by anemia in pregnant women is a variety of complications for the mother, in the form of pregnancy disorders, especially in the fetus such as Low Birth Weight Infants (LBW), impaired growth of the baby's organs and brain, and malnutrition or malformations in the baby who is born. (Audrey and Candra 2016) Methods: The research method used is observational research. The research design is descriptive analytic with a cross-sectional study approach. Results: The sampling technique in this study used Non Probability Sampling, namely Purposive Sampling. The number of samples was 47 babies with LBW during 2021.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between anemia in pregnancy and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) in the working area of UPT Puskesmas Lawawoi, Sidrap Regency, obtained a p value = 0.001 ˂ 0.05 (α).

Abstract

Vocabulary have a big contribution to support the successful students’ of learning English, because without grammar is not big problem in communication, but without vocabulary is large problem in communication with students. It means that vocabulary is very important thing in learning English. This research was conducted the use of crossword puzzle on the students’ achievement in learning vocabulary. The minimum completeness criteria of english lesson SMA Negeri 1 Badar =60. Based on the research mean score of students test on pre test =44,57. The mean score on posttest improved become = 78,04 and it reached the minimum completeness criteria score. There were 33,47 point the difference between pre test to the post test score. The calculation of data by using t test and found the t-observation=3,285 then compared it with ttable=2,074 of level alpha = 5%. It meant that tobservation was higher that t-table =3,2852,074. So, the researcher concluded that there were achievement on student use of crossword puzzle on the Students’ in learning vocabulary on the X students’ of SMA Negeri 1 Badar.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kurikulum teranyar yang dterapkan oleh kementerian pendidikan dan kebudayaan pada tingkat satuan pendidikan dasar maupun menengah. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran dari kurikulum ini adalah penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan deep learning merupakan hal yang baru bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar tiga gili (gili air, gili meno, dan gili trawangan). Guru-guru juga masih belum mempunyai pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang konsep pembelajaran deep learning. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah diadakannya workshop mengenai pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai bentuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran guru di tiga gili kabupaten lombok utara. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru mengenai pembelajaran deep learning, mempunyai pemahaman mengenai karakterstik keberagaman siswa sebagai tindak lanjut terhadap pemberian layanan belajar. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan pada tanggal 30 Agustus 2025 di SDN 2 Gili Indah yang dihadiri Tim pengabdian, kepala SDN 2 Gili Indah, Kepala SDN Gili Air, Kepala SDN Gili Meno, dan guru-guru dari tiga gili. Dari workshop ini diperoleh rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan deep learning yang disesuaikan dengan lingkungan peserta didik yaitu lingkungan pariwisata. Kegiatan ini selain mendapat respons yang positif dari guru-guru tiga gili, juga menjadi wadah diskusi bagi pihak akademisi (program studi PGSD dengan praktisi guru-guru dan kepala sekolah siswa dengan karakteristik kewilayahan pariwisata.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Cupak Gerantang-based learning model utilizing Role Playing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a medium to strengthen character education based on Sasak local wisdom. This development is expected to become a pedagogical innovation that integrates cultural values, technology, and active learning methods. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with three main stages: (1) preliminary stage, (2) prototyping stage, and (3) assessment. The research subjects consist of two experts, one classroom teacher, and 20 students from SD Negeri 1 Jenggala, North Lombok Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, and student response questionnaires, which were analyzed descriptively both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study indicate that the learning model has a very high validity level, with an average score of 3.65 from media experts and 3.66 from learning experts. Limited trials showed practical categorization, with an average score of 3.45, covering aspects of ease of implementation, clarity of learning steps, and the attractiveness of AI-based animated media. Teachers and students gave a positive response to the integration of Cupak Gerantang digital animation equipped with AI voice-over features, as it was considered to enhance interactivity and understanding of moral values.
