Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence into higher education has reshaped how postgraduate students approach academic reading and learning. This study explores postgraduate English Education students’ perceptions of ChatGPT as a substitute for traditional reading, focusing on how the tool influences their cognitive engagement and reading behaviour. Anchored in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Cognitive Offloading Theory, and Reading Literacy Theory, the research employs a quantitative survey design involving 108 master’s students from the Graduate Program of Universitas Negeri Makassar. A structured questionnaire measured four constructs: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Cognitive Offloading (COG), and Reading Habits Impact (RHI). Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and reliability testing. The findings reveal that students perceive ChatGPT as highly useful (M = 4.23) and easy to use (M = 4.35). These positive perceptions correlate strongly with cognitive offloading (r = 0.61), indicating frequent reliance on ChatGPT to simplify learning tasks. However, a significant negative correlation between cognitive offloading and reading habits (r = –0.54) suggests that increased dependence on ChatGPT reduces students’ motivation for traditional reading. Overall, the study highlights a dual outcome, while ChatGPT enhances learning efficiency and accessibility, it simultaneously contributes to the decline of deep reading practices. The results underscore the need for balanced AI integration that promotes critical reading, reflective thinking, and responsible technology use in postgraduate education.

Abstract

Anak usia dini adalah anak yang masih berada pada rentang usia 0-6 tahun. Pada masa ini anak mengalami masa keemasan atau golden age, pada masa keemasan ini anak memerlukan stimulasi pendidikan yang tepat untuk mengembangkan karakter termasuk karakter gotong royong sebagai salah satu dimesi profil pelajar pancasila. Namun penanamanny di TK PGRI Tanak Embang masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kolaboratif seperti PJBL untuk mendukung perkembangan karakter gotong royong lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap karakter gotong royong anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK PGRI Tanak Embang yang berlokasi di Desa Selebung, Lombok Tengah. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 peserta didik kelompok B tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji validitas, uji prasyarat (normalitas dan homogenitas), serta uji hipotesis dengan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pre-test, dan uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap peningkatan karakter gotong royong anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan karakter gotong royong peserta didik kelompok B di TK PGRI Tanak Embang.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti buku LKS yang monoton dan kurang menarik menyebabkan sebagian siswa merasa bosan dan kurang minat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yakni terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara dan angket. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi kearifan lokal, ahli materi Pancasila, angket respon siswa dan angket respon guru.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal memperoleh persentase skor validitas dari ahli media sebesar 88,75%, dari ahli materi kearifan lokal sebesar 93,3%, dari ahli materi Pancasila sebesar 82,6%. Nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat valid. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan rata-rata sebesar 91% berdasarkan angket respon siswa, dan 84% dari guru wali kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara. Sementara itu, pada uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh rata-rata persentase skor sebesar 90,45% dari siswa. Seluruh nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Effective program evaluation is a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring quality and accountability in primary education institutions. Consequently, this study aims to analyze the education program evaluation system in elementary schools to improve school management efficiency. The study focuses on three main aspects: identifying weaknesses in the existing evaluation system, analyzing the effectiveness of the evaluation instruments used, and providing strategic recommendations for improving the evaluation system to make it more focused and sustainable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to principals, vice principals, teachers, and education personnel (tendik), with a total of 84 respondents. The results show that the existing education program evaluation system still faces various problems, including limitations in indicator standards, a lack of consistency in implementation, and minimal utilization of evaluation results for managerial decision-making. The evaluation instruments used are also not fully effective in describing program achievements, especially in qualitative aspects such as character development and student creativity. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen the evaluation system with clearer standards, comprehensive instruments, and optimal utilization of evaluation results in education program planning. Thus, this study concludes that improving the education program evaluation system in elementary schools is a crucial step in improving school management efficiency. The resulting recommendations can serve as a reference for principals, teachers, and policymakers in developing a more integrated, transparent, and needs-based evaluation system. Through appropriate evaluation, elementary schools can optimize resources, improve the quality of educational services, and support the sustainable achievement of educational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak kelompok B di KB Al-Hikmah Gotong Royong menggunakan media loose parts. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.Subjek Penelitian ini kelompok B berjumlah 13 Siswa. Metode Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pada tahap pra siklus, media loose parts yang digunakan terbatas dan sederhana, seperti pecahan genteng, balok kayu, dan triplek, yang menghasilkan rata-rata persentase kreativitas sebesar 53,02 %. Pada siklus I, kegiatan bertema "Membangun Bangunan di Sekitar Sekolah" menggunakan media loose parts yang lebih beragam.Rata-rata persentase kreativitas anak meningkat menjadi 59,89 %, namun capaian ini masih tergolong sedang dengan selisih peningkatan 6,87% dari pra siklus ke siklus I.Selanjutnya, pada siklus II, dengan tema "Membuat Rumah untuk Mainan Favoritku" dan penyediaan media yang lebih kaya dan kompleks, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, mencapai 84,62% dengan peningkatan 24,73% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media loose parts secara kreatif dan bertahap mampu merangsang imajinasi, ketekunan, dan fleksibilitas berpikir anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa apabila kegiatan main menggunakan media loose parts dilakukan dengan baik dan benar maka dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a fictional storybook that incorporates the local wisdom of the Sasak ethnic group, specifically focusing on the legend of Putri Mandalika. The primary goal is to use this storybook as a learning aid to enhance early childhood language development at Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Ampenan Pembina. A Research and Development (R&D) methodology was employed using the 4D development model: define, design, develop, and disseminate. In the Define stage, teachers conducted needs analyses through interviews and observations to identify learning materials appropriate to the students’ characteristics and language development. To provide relevant and engaging learning experiences, the researcher produced story content, graphics, and visual components related to Sasak cultural elements during the Design stage. In the Develop stage, media and material experts conducted validation. The validation results showed scores of 84% from the material expert and 77% from the media expert, both categorized as “very effective.” The average score from a small-group trial involving 15 students was 90%. Based on these findings, the developed scrapbook media can serve as an alternative educational tool that integrates local cultural values and proves highly effective in improving early childhood language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how digital literacy skills are introduced to Group B children, the extent of their digital literacy proficiency, and the challenges educators face when teaching these skills. One teacher and thirty-one Group B students at Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Pembina Ampenan were selected as research subjects. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to provide a factual and systematic description of the phenomena. Data were collected through structured interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis followed the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that children demonstrated high enthusiasm when digital literacy skills were introduced through engaging and dynamic digital media, such as instructional videos and interactive stories directly supervised by the teacher. However, some children still required additional guidance to understand digital instructions and to stay focused when using digital media. The study concludes that the introduction of digital literacy skills to Group B at TK Negeri Pembina Ampenan was carried out effectively with teacher support, although challenges persisted, including limited teacher digital competence and children’s difficulty maintaining focus when interacting with digital media.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance Islamic financial inclusion in rural and eastern regions of Indonesia through innovative strategies, focusing on challenges related to access, literacy, infrastructure, and public trust issues. Using a qualitative library-based approach, this study analyzes literature from indexed journals, reports from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and government policies published between 2018 and 2025. Data collection involves systematic literature searches using keywords such as “Islamic financial inclusion” and “Islamic fintech.” Content analysis is employed to identify patterns, challenges, and formulate strategies, with source triangulation to ensure validity. Research Findings Islamic financial inclusion in Indonesia stands at only 12.88%, significantly lower than the national inclusion rate (75.02%), due to limited access in rural areas (68.49%), low Islamic financial literacy (39.11%), geographic barriers, inadequate infrastructure, and product mismatches. Innovative strategies include: (1) contextual financial products such as musyarakah-based financing, (2) infrastructure strengthening through Islamic rural banks (BPRS) and digitalization, (3) financial literacy education, and (4) community-based awareness campaigns. Islamic fintechs (e.g., Alami, Ammana) show potential to overcome geographic constraints, though they are hindered by limited Internet penetration (60%) and digital literacy. These innovative strategies offer practical guidance for stakeholders to boost Islamic financial inclusion through contextual products, digitalization, community-based education, and women’s empowerment via MSMEs, supporting poverty alleviation and inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

Introduction: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation is a key component of digital transformation in healthcare. This study evaluated the perceived effectiveness of EMR implementation in a regional Indonesian hospital by examining three empirically measured determinants, namely efficiency, accuracy, and system quality. The objective was narrowed to provide evidence on how these factors predict perceived EMR effectiveness within a single-site, low-resource setting without extending to unmeasured constructs such as health literacy or health promotion. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 100 healthcare professionals using a structured, validated questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square tests with effect sizes, and logistic regression with odds ratios and confidence intervals. Analyses examined how perceptions of efficiency, accuracy, and system quality predicted perceived EMR implementation effectiveness. Results: Respondents reported high perceptions of efficiency (96%), accuracy (94%), and system quality (95%). All three determinants were significantly associated with perceived EMR effectiveness (p < 0.001), with effect sizes indicating strong relationships. Logistic regression showed that system quality had the largest effect size (OR=7.02; 95% CI 2.04–24.10), followed by efficiency (OR=5.83; 95% CI 1.85–18.41) and accuracy (OR=4.26; 95% CI 1.24–14.68). These results indicate that usability and reliability are central predictors of perceived implementation effectiveness in this context. Conclusion: This single-site study provides empirical evidence on the determinants of perceived EMR implementation effectiveness in a regional Indonesian hospital. System quality emerged as the strongest predictor, emphasizing the need for user-friendly, reliable systems supported by training and governance. Because the study did not directly measure health literacy or health promotion outcomes, such impacts are identified as areas for future research rather than conclusions. The results offer practical guidance for improving EMR adoption and inform ongoing work in technology acceptance frameworks.
