Abstract

Morosi Village located in Konawe Regency is one of the areas in which there is a nickel processing company. The nickel processing produces solid waste, one of which is nickel slag. The amount of nickel slag is accumulating day by day, because each process of refining one ton of nickel product produces 50 times the solid waste, equivalent to 50 tons. So that from the results of quite a lot of waste, research was carried out to use solid waste as a concrete forming material, either as coarse and fine aggregate, or as a cement mixture. Government Regulation No. 101 of 2014 classifies nickel slag as B3 waste hazard category 2 with waste code B403. This means that nickel slag is a waste that has a delayed effect, and has an indirect impact on humans and the environment. Meanwhile, at the end of 2019, the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) concerning the choice of nickel slag material from electric furnaces. This SNI was also prepared by the Ministry of Industry to support the development of nickel slag standards and as a solution for nickel slag management. The existence of SNI is also intended as a reference to optimize the use of nickel slag as aggregate, substitute for natural aggregate and other uses. Some examples of products made from nickel slag include bricks, precast and ready-to-print concrete, road base and field, soil improvers, growing media and fertilizers, mortar and cement slag, composite portland cement, and cement geopolymers. To accommodate the use of nickel slag, assistance is needed to the community, especially in Morosi Village to be able to process with appropriate, effective and efficient technology in accordance with its physical characteristics and chemical characteristics. This will be an alternative to reduce the amount of nickel slag that can pollute the environment, in addition to increasing people's income.

Abstract

The local government has made several efforts to increase the population using technology, but so far the availability of existing resources has not been optimized. This is realized by the ability to raise beef cattle, which is still mostly done as a side activity with a very simple and distributed maintenance system. To be able to anticipate the problems that arise, a measurable and directed concept is needed to establish a strategy for developing beef cattle businesses in Aceh Besar Regency through the Cattle Corporation Village. The objectives of the study were (1) to identify the internal and external conditions that support the development of Cattle Corporation Village in Aceh Besar Regency; (2) to formulate strategies to develop cattle production through the development of Cattle Corporation Village in Aceh Besar Regency. The methods used in this research are descriptive method (SWOT) and quantitative method (QSPM). Based on the results, the results of the IFE matrix analysis show a strong internal position. The main strengths in this cattle corporation village are Availability: (1) potential land; (2) feed; and (3) sufficient water sources. Meanwhile, the main internal weakness in the cattle corporation village is the inadequate marketing system. The results of the EFE matrix analysis show a strong external position. The main opportunity in the cattle corporation village is the availability of feed raw materials and agricultural waste that is abundant and has not been maximally utilized. The main threat to the village corporation village is the decline in agricultural production. The results of the IFE and EFE matrix analysis show that the IFE matrix total weight score of 3.52 is in a high position and the EFE matrix total weight score of 3.40 is in a strong position. This indicates that Cattle Corporation Village is in cell I, which can be described as growing and developing. Based on the SWOT Matrix, 11 (eleven) alternative strategies can be obtained, then grouped into 6 (six) strategies that will be tested using QSPM Analysis. Based on the QSPM results, the priority order of the Cattle Corporation Village Development strategy is obtained, namely: Optimizing livestock businesses in the farming system of both food crops and plantations; Increasing the quantity and quality of cattle production; Intensifying the management of reproductive diseases and livestock health; Establishing good cooperation with local governments, educational institutions and the private sector both in the provision of program assistance and the development of Corporate Villages; Managing human resources in terms of managerial and operational efficiency; and Providing market information and coaching for cattle farmers/entrepreneurs/traders.

Abstract

This study examines the controversy surrounding gender equality in women's political rights in the public sphere. This discussion arises from differing interpretations of existing texts, which have persisted from the classical era to the contemporary period. This study employs normative legal research, utilizing library materials and secondary data as primary sources. It involves reviewing literature, including articles, books, and other relevant resources. The collected data, comprising primary and secondary legal materials, is analyzed qualitatively and presented descriptively. The study finds that Islam upholds gender equality by placing women in a noble and honorable position and affirming their rights and roles as stated in the words of Allah. Among classical Islamic scholars, there is debate about whether women are permitted to hold leadership roles. Imam Malik, Imam Shafi'i, and Ahmad Ibn Hanbal prohibited it, while Imam Abu Hanifah allowed women to lead if they possessed adequate capability and competence. Scholars like Ibn Jarir Al-Tabari and Ibn Hazm also allowed women to assume leadership positions without any conditions. Contemporary scholars, including Ibn Ashur, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, and Quraish Shihab, support women's participation in politics, both in voting and being elected. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, however, set conditions, emphasizing that women must adhere to Islamic ethics, fulfill their duties as wives and mothers, and not violate Sharia principles. If the exercise of women's political rights leads to harm, it is prohibited based on the principle of sadd al-zari'ah. This study contributes to the understanding of Islamic perspectives on gender equality in politics, examining viewpoints from both classical and contemporary scholars. It also provides a discourse on the conditions required for women to exercise their political rights within the framework of Islamic law.

Abstract

Cost comparison analysis using BIM concept is important to be implemented in order to find out how much influence BIM has on project costs and how effective the use of BIM is in project cost reduction to the maximum. Using BIM in a construction project can save 50% more time than using conventional methods. This is because conventional methods cannot design a building simultaneously, whereas BIM allows the users/designers to collaborate between designs that are made simultaneously, thus eliminating delayed work in the design process. One of the facilities that need to be improved is the Bus Rapid Transit shelter, where public transportation is increasing, especially in the capital city of DKI Jakarta, the number of human population is increasing, so the basic human needs for moving must also be improved. Therefore, this final project will focus on the revitalization of Transjakarta XXX Shelter XXX, which will conduct research related to cost and time using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method with the Autodesk Revit program. Based on this, the author aims to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of using BIM and conventional methods to calculate the volume of work, cost and time budget. The research method is to conduct a literature study to obtain data that will be modeled using Autodesk software. Based on the research results, the total concrete volume shows that the conventional volume is closer to the actual, which is -5.04% or -37.90m3, while the BIM volume to the actual is -5.04% or -37.90m3 and the total reinforcement volume shows that the conventional volume is closer to the actual, which is 2.52% or -2,116.41kg, while the BIM volume to the actual is -3.15% or -2,630.59kg. Furthermore, the calculation of the total concrete cost with the actual shows that the conventional cost is closer to the actual, which is -5.04% or -Rp34,150,157.91, while the BIM cost to the actual is -5.19% or -Rp35,110,720.54, while the difference in the estimated price or total reinforcement cost with the actual shows that the conventional cost is closer to the actual, which is -2.52% or -Rp35,145,093.36, while the BIM or Revit cost to the actual is -3.15% or -Rp43,683,037.32.
