Abstract

PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama, precisely in the diamond pit managed by the contractor PT Ceria Jasatambang Pratama, there are 2 overburden stripping fleets, based on the production target data for March 2025, fleet 1 is 7,731 Bcm and fleet 2 is 3,257 Bcm with actual production of fleet 1 being 4,243.29 Bcm and fleet 2 being 5,365.00 Bcm. This research aims to find out the value and what are the losstime components of the load excavation tool in the overburden soil stripping activity at pit diamond 01 and pit diamond 02 of PT Ceria Jasatambang Pratama in March 2025. This activity is very important to support the smoothness of the nickel ore mining process. The research was conducted with field observation methods as well as primary and secondary data processing using microsoft excel software. The results of the study showed that the actual loss of time that was identified came from five main components, namely: rain and slippery roads (slippery), late starting work early shifts, breaks that started too early, delays in returning to work after a break and stopping work too early. Total losstime for one month in fleet 1 was recorded as 65 hours (average 2,2 hours per month), while fleet 2 was 60 hours (average 2,00 hours per month). This value shows that most of the effective working time is wasted due to these obstacles. The actual productivity of each fleet is calculated based on work efficiency, cycle time, swell factor and fill factor. Fleet 1 produces productivity of 812,25 tons/day and fleet 2 of 1,410,05 tons/day. This result shows the non-achieval of the production target in fleet 1, which is caused by the difference in bucket capacity on the loading and unloading equipment and the high loss time value. Suggested loss time reduction efforts include improving work discipline, implementation of P5M activities (five-minute talk), daily inspection (P2H), and regulation of refueling and slippery activities. This research is expected to be the basis for decision making in improving the operational efficiency of overburden mining. The average monthly value for fleet 1 was 2.2 hours with the losstime component being influenced by taking breaks too early, while for fleet 2 it was 2.00 hours, with the most influential losstime component consisting of starting late after a break.

Abstract

Iron sand is a deposit along the coast formed from the weathering of rocks containing iron minerals, such as in Galesong Beach, Takalar, South Sulawesi. Its utilization is still minimal due to the lack of knowledge of its content and properties, so it is necessary to increase the content to obtain optimal recovery before being processed into useful products. This study aims to analyze the geochemistry of iron sand with XRF and XRD, determine the optimal recovery, and the best drum rotation speed on a magnetic separator for its processing. The method of increasing the content of iron sand uses magnetic concentration. The results of the XRD analysis show that the iron sand sample is composed of minerals such as Orthoclase (KALSi3O8), Magnetite (Fe3O4), Quartz (SiO2), Iron ore (Fe2O3), Kaolinite (Al2O9Si2). The results of the XRF analysis have Fe2O3 = 23.40%, SiO2 = 38.38%, Al2O3 = 25.92%, CaO = 7.16 %, TiO2 = 2.60 %, and K2O, MnO, V2O5, Cr2O3, ZrO, SrO, ZnO, P2O5 each below 1%. The iron ore (Fe2O3) content of the concentrate product at each drum rotation speed is 45.11 %, 43.06 % and 64.16 % with recovery values of 75.19 %, 69.18 % and 97.16 %. The percentage of Fe2O3 content and the most optimal recovery rate are obtained at a rotation speed of 600 rpm

Abstract

This study explores light as a metaphor for consciousness by integrating Suhrawardi’s philosophy of illumination with modern psychology. In Suhrawardi’s view, light is not only a metaphysical symbol but an ontological reality linking human beings to the divine source of knowledge. Meanwhile, modern psychology examines consciousness through neurocognitive, cognitive, and phenomenological perspectives. Using a qualitative library-based method and philosophical hermeneutics, this research identifies areas of convergence and divergence between the two approaches. The findings reveal that Suhrawardi’s gradation of light offers a framework for understanding consciousness as a multilayered spiritual process rather than merely a biological phenomenon. This concept parallels modern psychology’s notions of self-actualization and peak experience. The integration of these perspectives provides valuable insights for developing spirituality-based psychotherapy, Islamic counseling, and consciousness education in Indonesia, highlighting the relevance of Islamic intellectual traditions to contemporary psychological discourse. Abstract

Motivation in modern workplaces has evolved significantly over the past two decades, shaped by technological disruption, changing work paradigms, and shifting employee expectations. This study aims to systematically trace the conceptual, thematic, and collaborative development of workplace motivation research through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. Drawing on 300 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2001 and 2021, data were sourced from Scopus and Google Scholar using the search phrase “understanding motivation in modern workplaces.” The analysis employed VOSviewer software to generate network, overlay, density, and co-authorship visualizations, while data selection followed the PRISMA framework to ensure relevance and transparency. Findings reveal a major shift from traditional constructs such as performance and job satisfaction to emerging themes including psychological well-being, digital leadership, remote work, and meaningful work. The evolution indicates a transition from incentive-based to experience-centered motivation theories, reflecting broader sociotechnical changes. However, the study also uncovers thematic blind spots—such as sustainability-related motivation and employee values—and highlights the fragmented nature of global research collaboration. These insights underscore the need for integrative, cross-disciplinary, and future-oriented frameworks in understanding motivation. This study contributes to the literature by offering a aiming to enhance engagement and well-being in increasingly digital and hybrid work environments.

Abstract

Background: Nursing students experience high stress levels because of the high demands, expectations and activities during their study. Therefore some students struggle to adapt to their college life, eventually resorting to dangerous behaviors such as self-harm, which they perceive as a coping mechanism to relieve stress. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress levels and self-harm incidents among active students at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya. Methods: This research design uses descriptive correlational with cross-sectional approach.  This study involved 293 students from Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya, with purposive sampling technique. The dependent variable in this study is self-harm behavior, while the independent variable is the level of stress. The instrument tools used are the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire and DSHI (Deliberate Self Harm Inventory). Results: A total of 293 students were sampled in this study. The majority of stress levels were experienced by women, with 135 respondents experiencing moderate stress levels and 118 students having engaged in mild self-harm behavior. The results of the Spearman’s rank statistical test showed a significant correlation between stress levels and self-harm behavior (p-value = 0.004), indicating that higher levels of perceived stress are associated with a greater tendency toward self-harm Conclusion: This study concluded that the majority of students were under stress, with most perceiving themselves to be experiencing moderate stress. There is an urgent need to identify the underlying causes and implement effective management and preventive measures to mitigate the long-term negative effects of stress on students’ careers and well-being.
