Empiricism constitutes a major branch of epistemological philosophy that emphasizes observation, experimentation, induction, and verification as foundations of knowledge; however, its relationship with scientific development in the classical Islamic world requires further systematic examination. This study analyzes the principles of empiricism and their contribution to the advancement of science and technology in the classical Islamic intellectual tradition. Employing a qualitative descriptive-analytical library research design, the study examines primary texts by Western empiricist philosophers, Qur’anic and hadith-based epistemological sources, and the works of classical Muslim scholars, supported by relevant secondary literature. The findings indicate that the core principles of empiricism were reflected in the scientific practices of Ibn al-Haytham, Al-Biruni, Jabir ibn Hayyan, Al-Razi, Ibn Sina, and other Muslim scholars. Their contributions to optics, astronomy, chemistry, medicine, and mathematics demonstrate a systematic reliance on observation, experimentation, and empirical verification rather than speculative reasoning alone. The analysis further shows that Islamic epistemology provides a compatible foundation for empirical inquiry by integrating revelation, reason, and sensory experience. This synthesis enabled Muslim scholars to develop a distinctive scientific tradition characterized by methodological rigor and spiritual orientation. The study concludes that the historical legacy of Islamic empiricism offers a relevant framework for revitalizing contemporary science and technology in the Muslim world. Its principal contribution lies in demonstrating that the renewed application of observation, experimentation, and critical verification within an Islamic epistemological framework may strengthen scientific development while maintaining ethical and theological coherence. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membuka peluang pemanfaatan perangkat mobile sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif, termasuk pada jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Namun, proses pembelajaran pengenalan huruf, angka, warna, dan hewan masih banyak menggunakan media konvensional yang kurang interaktif sehingga dapat memengaruhi minat dan keterlibatan belajar anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android sebagai media edukasi bagi anak usia dini dalam mengenal konsep dasar huruf, angka, warna, dan hewan melalui pendekatan belajar sambil bermain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari tahapan Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, dan Distribution. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan framework Flutter dengan mengintegrasikan elemen multimedia berupa gambar, audio, animasi, dan permainan edukatif. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan aplikasi pembelajaran dengan fitur pengenalan huruf, angka, warna, hewan, permainan edukatif, serta sistem penghargaan berupa poin dan bintang. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode Black Box Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi aplikasi berjalan dengan baik. Validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru PAUD memperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan uji coba pengguna memperoleh tingkat kepuasan sebesar 94,5%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, aplikasi yang dikembangkan dinilai efektif, menarik, dan mudah digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran anak usia dini di sekolah maupun di rumah.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui tes pemahaman setelah melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian one-shot case study yaitu dengan keterangan X = Pemberian perlakuan (treatment); O = Observasi setelah treatment (dapat berupa post-test). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi belajar siswa pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik dengan menngunakan desain one-shot case study. Hasil tes pemahaman peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning adalah 94,6% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kata kunci: LKPD, Matematika, Problem Based Learning

The formation of students' religious character is one of the primary objectives of national education; however, its attainment cannot be solely entrusted to formal educational institutions. The family, as al-madrasah al-ula or the first and foremost educational institution, plays a crucial role through the parenting styles applied by parents. This study aims to describe the parenting styles of Class V students' parents at SD Negeri 1 Kaliwiro Wonosobo, to describe students' religious characters, and to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the formation of those religious characters. This study employed a causal associative quantitative approach with saturated sampling technique covering all 54 Class V students. Data were collected using a Likert scale consisting of 15 statement items for variable X (parenting style) and 23 statement items for variable Y (students' religious character). Data analysis techniques included the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression, partial t-test, and coefficient of determination test using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that parenting styles are generally in the moderate category (75.9%), with the mean score of the permissive dimension (2.70) slightly higher than democratic (2.68) and authoritarian (2.60). Students' religious character also falls in the moderate category (68.5%). Hypothesis testing yielded a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The regression equation Y' = 45.015 + 0.437X with an R Square value of 0.102 indicates that parenting style has a significant influence of 10.2% on the formation of religious character, while the remaining 89.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

This study was motivated by the continued presence of bullying behavior in school settings, which can affect students’ character development. Social environments play a crucial role in shaping students’ attitudes and behaviors; thus, unhealthy social interactions have the potential to trigger bullying. Based on observations at SMK Nurul Huda, the students’ social environment is generally positive; however, cases of bullying among students have still been identified. This study aims to determine the influence of the social environment on bullying behavior in schools. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quantitative descriptive analytical method. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaire distribution, interviews, and documentation. The study population consists of 288 students at SMK Nurul Huda, and the entire population was used as the study sample. Data analysis used the Product Moment technique. The results showed that the rxy value was 0.510, while the rt value at the 5% significance level was 0.227 and at the 1% significance level was 0.296. Since the rxy value was greater than the rt value at both significance levels, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the social environment influences bullying behavior in schools.

This study discusses the function of the Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance in Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to identify the historical development and functions of the Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance in the life of the Malay community in Pelalawan. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving five informants who understood the development of the Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance. The results of the study show that the Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance originated from Islamic cultural influences brought by traders and religious scholars from Johor. In its development, the dance adapted to the local culture of the Pelalawan community and eventually became one of the regional cultural identities. The Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance has four main functions, namely entertainment, social, cultural, and religious functions. Besides being performed in traditional ceremonies and community entertainment events, this dance also plays a role in preserving Malay culture through art studios, schools, and support from the local government. The use of social media has also contributed to introducing and preserving the Zapin Pecah Dua Belas Dance among the younger generation so that it remains recognized amid modern developments.

This study is motivated by the persistence of problems in the school environment, such as bullying, discrimination, and the not yet optimal implementation of Child-Friendly Schools, which have an impact on decreasing student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of Child-Friendly Schools on student learning motivation at SMA Diponegoro 2 East Jakarta. This research used a quantitative method with a descriptive analytical correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The population consisted of 146 students of grade X and XI, while the sample of 35 students was determined using the simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Product Moment correlation. The results showed a calculated r value of 0.634, while the r table at a 5% significance level was 0.344 and at a 1% significance level was 0.442. Because the calculated r is greater than the r table, the Alternative Hypothesis is accepted and the Null Hypothesis is rejected. Thus, Child-Friendly Schools have a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation, with a strong level of relationship, and need to be continuously optimized.

This study was motivated by the low learning motivation of some students at SMP Negeri 114 North Jakarta, which was suspected to be influenced by the teacher's provision of reward during the learning process. Preliminary observation found that several students were less active, less confident in asking questions, and less enthusiastic in completing assignments. This study aimed to determine the effect of reward on students' learning motivation. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used. The population consisted of 881 students, with a sample of 90 students determined using the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, prerequisite tests, and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed a positive and significant effect of reward on students' learning motivation, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.461 and a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a moderate relationship. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.212 indicates that reward contributes 21.2% to students' learning motivation, while the remaining 78.8% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the Null Hypothesis (H0) was rejected, meaning that the better the reward given, the higher the students' learning motivation.

This research is motivated by the importance of the family environment as the first and primary educational setting that plays a role in shaping character, study habits, and students' academic success. Parental attention, parenting styles, the learning atmosphere at home, and family support are suspected to influence students' learning outcomes, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. However, there are still students whose PAI learning outcomes are not optimal, making research necessary to understand the influence of the family environment on students' learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the impact of the family environment on students' learning outcomes in PAI subjects and to determine the extent of the family's contribution to these learning outcomes. The research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. The research population consists of 215 tenth-grade students at SMKN 40 Jakarta, with a sample of A total of 69 students were selected using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies, then analyzed using the Product Moment correlation test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of the family environment on students' learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The correlation coefficient value of 0.627 indicates a fairly strong relationship and is higher than the r table value, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.394 shows that the family environment contributes 39.4% to students' learning outcomes, while the remaining 60.6% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Therefore, the better the family environment, the better the students' learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

This study was motivated by the increasing use of social media among students, which has the potential to affect their interest in learning. Based on observations and interviews conducted at State Senior High School 20 in Jakarta, it was found that some students exhibited low interest in learning; among other things, they lacked focus during class and were more interested in non-academic activities, including the use of social media. This study aims to analyze the extent to which “social media use affects learning motivation” among students at State Senior High School 20 Jakarta. A quantitative method with a descriptive-correlational approach was employed, and data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and the distribution of a Likert-scale questionnaire to students in this study. The study population consisted of 530 11th- and 12th-grade students at State High School 20 in Jakarta, with a sample size of 84 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error; the entire population was selected as the sample using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using “Product-Moment Correlation (Pearson)” and “Simple Linear Regression”. The results of the study show that the correlation coefficient (rxy) between social media use (X) and interest in learning (Y) is 0.414, or 41.4%, which falls into the moderate or sufficient category. The results of the hypothesis test show that ro (0.414) is greater than rt at both the 5% (0.214) and 1% (0.280) significance levels; therefore, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) is 0.171, meaning that social media use contributes 17.1% to students’ interest in learning, while the remaining 82.9% is influenced by other factors such as teaching methods, family support, and self-motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect of “social media use on learning interest” among students at SMA Negeri 20 Jakarta, although the effect is classified as moderate.
