Abstract

The study of Arabic began with the many problems and errors in the way Arabs spoke. The purpose of this study, known as nahwu, was to protect the Arabic language in the Qur'an from these errors. Starting from the first nahwu school in Basrah, and later, new schools emerged in Kufa, Baghdad, Andalusia, and Egypt. as well as the role of local scholars in developing and critiquing classical nahwu. Each of these schools has its own characteristics and history, which then resulted in different rules and teaching methods. Andalusia as the center of the spread of Islamic civilization in the western region has an important role in the spread of knowledge. This study examines the history of the Andalusian and Egyptian schools of thought, as well as the figures who helped shape them. This study uses library research methods to examine related materials and data collection techniques through document review, namely collecting, reviewing, and analyzing scientific manuscripts related to the science of nahwu in Andalusia and Egypt.

Abstract

This study explores how socio-economic background shapes the representation of girlhood in selected Indonesian children’s literature. Guided by Crenshaw’s intersectionality theory, which views identity as shaped by overlapping social categories, this study applies qualitative textual analysis to two storybooks from the Let’s Read Asia project, Cepat Kering, Bunga Kemboja! and Bukan Halangan. By using the close reading method, the analysis focuses on identifying scenes, expressions, and descriptions that construct different forms of resilience through different class contexts. The findings show that Ratih, a working-class girl, develops resilience and independence through financial hardship and self-sacrifice. On the other hand, Kapisa, the girl from a middle-class family, builds resilience through care, guidance, and access to information. These contrasting pathways demonstrate that social class strongly shapes the meaning of resilience and determines whether it is formed by necessity or through privilege. The study concludes that while both stories promote positive images of girls, they also risk normalizing inequality by presenting different class-based realities as equally admirable. These results highlight the importance of examining girlhood experiences at the intersection of gender, class, and age.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Fenomena meningkatnya perilaku seks pranikah di kalangan remaja menjadi tantangan serius dalam pembentukan karakter dan kesehatan reproduksi generasi muda, terutama di era digital. Rendahnya literasi seksualitas yang sehat serta terbatasnya pendidikan berbasis nilai religius menyebabkan remaja rentan terhadap perilaku berisiko. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi seksualitas sehat dan kesadaran moral remaja melalui program Seminar Edukatif Gerakan Remaja Anti Seks Pra-Nikah (GERA-SP) di MA NW Senyiur, Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui seminar interaktif, pemutaran film edukatif, diskusi reflektif, kampanye visual, serta pembentukan Ruang Konseling Remaja (KEREN). Subjek kegiatan berjumlah 65 siswa kelas X dan XI. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi, serta wawancara dengan guru BK dan wali kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman siswa sebesar 68,3% pada aspek literasi seksualitas, disertai perubahan sikap yang lebih bijak dalam pergaulan dan meningkatnya kesadaran terhadap nilai-nilai Islami. Program GERA-SP terbukti efektif sebagai strategi preventif dalam penguatan karakter dan kesehatan reproduksi remaja, serta berpotensi direplikasi pada satuan pendidikan dengan karakteristik serupa.Kata kunci: Seks Pranikah, Remaja, Literasi Seksual, Karakter Islami, Pendidikan Kesehatan. ABSTRACTThe increasing prevalence of premarital sexual behavior among adolescents poses a serious challenge to character development and reproductive health, particularly in the digital era. Limited healthy sexual literacy and insufficient value based education make adolescents vulnerable to risky behaviors. This community service activity aimed to enhance healthy sexual literacy and moral awareness among adolescents through the Educational Seminar of the Youth Movement Against Premarital Sex (GERA-SP) conducted at MA NW Senyiur, East Lombok Regency. A participatory–educative approach was employed through interactive seminars, educational film screenings, reflective discussions, visual campaigns, and the establishment of a Youth Counseling Space (KEREN). The participants consisted of 65 students from grades X and XI. Evaluation methods included pre-tests and post-tests, observations, and interviews with school counselors and homeroom teachers. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of healthy sexuality, with an average increase of 68.3%, accompanied by more responsible attitudes toward social interaction and stronger awareness of Islamic moral values. The GERA-SP program proved to be an effective preventive strategy for strengthening adolescent character and reproductive health education and has the potential to be replicated in schools or madrasahs with similar socio-cultural characteristics. Keywords: Premarital Sex; Adolescents; Sexual Literacy; Islamic Character; Health Education.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has encouraged the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in higher education, including in reading instruction. Although Moodle is widely adopted, empirical evidence based on experimental approaches that directly examine its effectiveness in enhancing undergraduate students’ reading comprehension remains limited, particularly in comparison with conventional reading instruction. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Moodle-based reading instruction on students’ reading comprehension and to compare learning outcomes between students taught through Moodle and those taught through traditional instructional methods. A quasi-experimental research design employing a pretest–posttest control group was applied. The participants consisted of 46 undergraduate students divided into two intact classes: an experimental group (n = 23) and a control group (n = 23). The experimental group received reading instruction through Moodle, integrating structured learning materials, interactive activities, and formative assessments, while the control group was taught using conventional face-to-face reading instruction with printed materials and teacher-led discussions. A reading comprehension test was administered as both a pretest and a posttest. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired-samples t-tests to examine within-group improvement, independent-samples t-tests to compare posttest performance between groups, and effect size analysis to assess practical significance. The results revealed that both groups demonstrated significant improvement in reading comprehension from pretest to posttest; however, the experimental group showed significantly greater gains than the control group. Furthermore, the posttest comparison indicated a statistically significant difference with a large effect size, suggesting that Moodle-based instruction had a substantial and educationally meaningful impact on students’ reading comprehension. Overall, the findings indicate that Moodle-based reading instruction is an effective approach for enhancing undergraduate students’ reading comprehension and offers considerable pedagogical benefits for reading instruction in higher education contexts.

Abstract

The research starts from the problems faced at the Islamic State High School 1 Pasaman. The problem with this research is that they are unable to understand reading material, have difficulty understanding reading, do not pay attention to education, need to use various strategies in education, students' results in Arabic are less than the completion of the minimum acute (KKM) of 78.  is the aim of this study to find out the use of the ECOLA method to improve the reading skill of eleventh grade students majoring in religion. This quantitative research, quantitative research methodology is a research method based on a positivist philosophy and this research is used to investigate a particular community or intention. The experimental design used is Quasi Experimental Design and data analysis using the SPSS 26 software. As for the results of the research, the researcher decided that the different degree of the two chapters, so that t- arithmetic means -1.714, with the result of degrees of freedom (df)= 50 with a value of 5% is 2.008. If t-arithmetic means -1.714, less than t-table means 2.008, so the null hypothesis (Ho) is acceptable and the substitute hypothesis (Ha) is rejected. Its conclusion is that there is no effectiveness in using the method ECOLA to improve the reading skills of students in the eleventh-grade majoring in religion at the Islamic Government High School 1 Pasaman.

Abstract

The method of interpreting of Koran using the transmitted interpretation (tafsir bi al-riwayah) is still relevant to be applied in this era, although it is less developed, compared with logical interpretation of Koran (tafsir bi al-ra’yi). This idea has showed up in reality through the findings of transmission based interpretation in many Indonesian interpretation of Koran (tafsir) books, which are classified as logic based interpretation, (tafsir bi al-ra’yi), such as Tafsir of Koran Published by Religious Affairs Department of RI. This book of interpretation of Koran combine the two methods of interpretation of Koran, the transmission basis, and the logical basis (tafsir bi al-riwayah, and tafsir bi al-ra'yi) in the interpretation of Koran, especially in modern issues. There are two data resources in this research, which are primary and secondary. The primary resourses is The Koran, and Tafsir of Koran Published by Religious Affairs Department of RI. Meanwhile, the secondary resources are books and information taken from scientific works and articles such as thesis, dissertation, journals, and other literatures. The approaches that are used in this research is interpretation of Koran approach. The data collected was analysed with descriptive approach.

Abstract

Laughter is an activity that is most often found in various situations and conditions, especially in a meeting and association in social relations. This is because human nature tends to happiness and pleasure which is the driving force behind the laughing expression. Almost no one wants their days to be filled with sadness and anxiety. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of films that are in great demand by the public, namely films with the comedy genre still occupy the top rank. Apart from that, television programs have sprung up that show strange and funny scenes that are effective in making the audience laugh. When viewed from the perspective of psychology, this is justified and highly recommended considering that laughter is rich in benefits according to the results of research by psychologists. Based on the author's search for laughing hadiths through takhrij hadith, laughter is quite a concern in the hadith, there are lots of hadiths that talk about laughing, ranging from laughing in the life of the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, to hadiths that seem to prohibit and view negatively. laughing activity. After the writer researched and analyzed the laughing hadiths using an approach in the field of psychology. It turns out that both support each other and provide a correlation. Hadith as a second clue after the Qur'an which provides information on laughing metaphysics, while psychology provides information based on empirical research results. Thus it can be concluded that laughter is a fitrah and gift from Allah subhana wa ta'ala for humans.

Abstract

The use of fragrance has become an integral part of daily life for many Muslims, to the extent that it is now considered a personal necessity. Definitions of fragrance may vary among individuals; for instance, Imam An-Nawawi defines it as any substance used to enhance personal scent. In Islam, the application of fragrance is considered a Sunnah, as it was regularly practiced and encouraged by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, Islamic teachings distinguish between men and women regarding the use of fragrance, with more restrictions placed on women to prevent undesirable social consequences. This study employs a library-based (literature) research method and utilizes a qualitative approach to explore the issue in greater depth. The research compares the perspectives of Imam Abdurrahman Al-Mubarakfuri and Sheikh Al-‘Azizi concerning the permissibility and limitations of fragrance use among women. The findings suggest that women are prohibited from wearing strong or noticeable fragrances in public spaces where they may encounter non-mahram men, as this act is likened to sinful behavior, including that of a fornicator, according to certain interpretations. Nevertheless, women are permitted to use fragrance under specific conditions that align with the guidance provided by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka melihat keterhubungan antara kebijakan yang telah diatur oleh pemerintah melalui alokasi dan ruang ke dalam implementasi kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam kaidah kaidah pemanfaatan kawasan konservasi serta melihat bagaimana keterlibatan dan persepsi masyarakat di sekitar kawasan konservasi dalam upaya pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan kawasan konservasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap kawasan konservasi secara umum positif dimana mayoritas responden 72 4 96 2 mengakui manfaat kawasan konservasi terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi desa mereka Masyarakat juga setuju terhadap pembatasan zona laut meskipun pengetahuan mereka tentang aturan konservasi seperti zonasi inti dan pemanfaatan berkelanjutan masih terbatas Rendahnya tingkat pendidikan 58 hanya menyelesaikan sekolah dasar dan akses informasi menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi keterbatasan ini Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan kawasan konservasi terlihat dalam beberapa aspek seperti pengawasan aktivitas illegal fishing partisipasi dalam zonasi dan pengembangan ekowisata berbasis komunitas Namun tantangan besar meliputi konflik kepentingan antara konservasi dan kebutuhan ekonomi lemahnya penegakan hukum serta minimnya anggaran dan infrastruktur untuk mendukung pengelolaan kawasan Dinamika akses dipengaruhi pada lingkungan kebijakan yang memungkinkan dan melumpuhkan berbagai aktor untuk memperoleh mempertahankan atau mengendalikan akses sumber daya atau dinamika mikro tentang siapa yang memperoleh manfaat dari sumber daya dan bagaimana < p>

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan dan strategi penerjemahan teks jurnalistik daring dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia pada artikel Tempo berjudul “Chicken Congee’s Journey Across Asia, from Ancient China to Indonesia.” Fokus utama penelitian adalah analisis leksikal, sintaksis, dan kultural yang memengaruhi akurasi dan keterbacaan terjemahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi masalah penerjemahan yang muncul, serta mengevaluasi strategi yang digunakan penerjemah untuk menjaga makna, konteks budaya, dan gaya jurnalistik daring. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan analisis teks (text analysis) dan studi kasus terhadap artikel yang menjadi objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerjemah menghadapi tantangan pada istilah kuliner dan ungkapan budaya (lexical and cultural challenges), perbedaan struktur kalimat (syntactic challenges), serta kebutuhan menyesuaikan gaya bahasa agar sesuai dengan pembaca daring. Strategi penerjemahan yang diterapkan meliputi adaptasi, transposisi, modulasi, dan parafrase deskriptif, yang memungkinkan teks terjemahan tetap informatif, mudah dipahami, dan mempertahankan nuansa budaya. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kualitas terjemahan tidak hanya bergantung pada kesetiaan terhadap teks sumber, tetapi juga pada kemampuan penerjemah dalam menyeimbangkan akurasi makna, keterbacaan, dan keberterimaan budaya bagi audiens digital.
