The type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used include interviews, observations, documentation, and discussions. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the analysis, it was found that the role of the family environment in supporting children's educational development has been well executed. The family plays the primary role as the first environment where children grow and learn, and it has a significant influence on shaping children's educational development. However, it is important to remember that a child's education in the family environment is not solely the responsibility of parents but involves the participation of all family members, including grandparents, siblings, and other family members. Cognitive development in children plays a crucial role as it forms the foundation for learning abilities, interaction with the environment, and academic and intellectual achievements. There are differences in cognitive development between boys and girls, where boys may be less active than girls, but this does not rule out the possibility that boys may have different ways of understanding the material

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of friendship circles on the morals and characteristics of students. The article aims to examine how social interactions can influence one's attitudes, behaviors, and values. The goal is to help students understand the importance of choosing friends wisely because our social environment can greatly influence how we perceive the world and how we choose to interact with others. The method used in this research is qualitative, and the results indicate a deep understanding of social and human phenomena, such as in this context, how friendship circles affect the morals and characteristics of students. Qualitative research results are typically presented in the form of descriptive narratives based on data collected through interviews, observations, or document analysis. The research findings may indicate that students with friendship circles characterized by strong and positive values tend to exhibit better morals and characteristics. They are more likely to make ethical decisions, show empathy towards others, and behave consistently with moral principles. Additionally, the research may also suggest that friendship circles can serve as a crucial source of social support, assisting students in facing challenges and pressures in their daily lives and studies
