Abstract

This study aims to obtain an analysis of the effect of compensation on employee performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. This study used an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study is all employees at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company, which is as many as 45 people. Then, the data collection techniques and tools used are observation, interviews, literature studies, documentation studies, observation guidelines, and questionnaires. The results showed that compensation has a positive influence on employee performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. Therefore, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company must monitor and evaluate employee compensation and performance and make efforts to optimize the achievement of company goals and ensure employee welfare. Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company also needs to collect accurate information to employees about the compensation system, especially regarding health benefits to employees. That way, it is expected that Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company and employees jointly fulfill the objectives, rights, and obligations as a single entity in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between service performance and the variables of motivation, rewards, workload, supervision, and training.  This study's methodology is quantitative in nature.  A total of 36 midwives from Aji Batara Agung Dewa Sakti Hospital made up the study's sample.  Data for the study were gathered via questionnaire answers, and with the use of the SEM PLS software, SEM techniques were used for analysis.  Data analysis findings indicate that training, supervision, workload, incentives, and motivation all have a major impact on service quality.  According to this conclusion, the quality of the resultant service improves with the amount of these five variables.  Nevertheless, there is no meaningful correlation between the reward variable and service quality.  According to this study, management at Aji Batara Agung Dewa Sakti Hospital in Kutai Kartanegara Regency must give priority to managing these crucial elements in order to enhance service quality.

Abstract

Based on preliminary studies, 8% of respondents stated that communication was poor, 18% stated that service quality was poor, 28% were dissatisfied, and 8% stated that they would’t visit again. The type of research was quantitative research with a descriptive-verificative approach using path analysis. Based on the questionnaire results, communication and service quality were rated as very good, patient satisfaction was rated as very satisfied, and patients stated they would visit the health center again. There was a significant influence between communication and patient satisfaction (p-value 0.006), service quality and patient satisfaction (p-value 0.001), communication and service quality simultaneously on patient satisfaction (p-value 0.001), patient satisfaction on patient visits (p-value 0.001), direct communication on patient visits (p-value 0.042), direct service quality on patient visits (p-value 0.001), indirect communication on patient visits through patient satisfaction (p-value 0.031), and indirect service quality on patient visits through patient satisfaction (p-value 0.005).

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia biasanya didefinisikan yaitu menjadi sebuah ilmu ataupun cara terkait pengaturan hubungan serta peran sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh tiap individu dengan cara yang efisien serta efektif dan juga bisa diterapkan dengan cara yang maksimal hingga dapat mencapai tujuan bersama di sebuah perusahaan, organisasi atau lembaga hal ini pun berlaku pada tujuan karyawan serta masyarakat yang akan dicapai dengan cara yang optimal dan maksimal. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kepustakaan serta menggunakan sumber daya yang diambil dengan melihat ciri-ciri inklusi serta eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang benar dapat meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan kesehatan sebab tepatnya pengelolaan SDM di rumah sakit dalam memberikan job desk serta tanggung jawab kepada orang yang memang memiliki potensi sesuai dengan tanggung jawabnya masing-masing dapat melakukan pekerjaannya secara optimal dan maksimal sehingga dapat mampu mencapai dan membantu mencapai tujuan bersama-sama di rumah sakit hal ini juga dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelayanan pada pasien karena komunikasi yang baik di antara medis serta pasien dan juga tak hanya itu saja sebab dibutuhkan motivasi yang berkelanjutan untuk melakukan perbaikan tersebut. Perbaikan yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus ini sama dengan melakukan peninjauan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of knowledge, skills, and attitudes on career development opportunities in the workplace.  In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce business competition, a deep understanding of the factors influencing career development becomes crucial for individuals and organizations. This research aims to explore the impact of knowledge, attitudes, and skills on the career development opportunities of working master's degree students in management at Universitas Sangga Buana YPKP Bandung.  The method used is quantitative, with a sample of 65 people selected through a non-probability purposive sampling technique.  Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software. The analysis results show that knowledge, attitude, and skills significantly impact career development opportunities in the workplace.  This indicates that these variables strongly influence career development opportunities in the workplace.  Meanwhile, other variables are influenced by factors not studied in this research.  The higher a person's knowledge, skills, and attitudes, the greater the opportunities for career development in the workplace. This research provides new insights into the importance of knowledge and skills in enhancing career development opportunities in the workplace.  Attitude, although influential, requires a more in-depth approach to understand its impact.  The practical implication of these findings is the importance of training and development programs that focus on enhancing employees' knowledge and skills to support their career development.

Abstract

Peningkatan teknologi kesehatan menghadirkan inovasi layanan telemedisin untuk memperluas akses pelayanan, terutama di daerah terpencil dengan rasio dokter rendah. Telemedisin diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemerataan, kualitas layanan, efisiensi biaya, serta menjangkau daerah bencana. Meski banyak penyedia resmi bermitra dengan pemerintah, pemanfaatan layanan ini masih terbatas karena berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh usia, kepercayaan, dan persepsi terhadap kepuasan pengguna telemedisin di Jabodetabek. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan 149 responden yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa usia dan kepercayaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna, sedangkan persepsi berpengaruh signifikan. Namun, uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa usia, kepercayaan, dan persepsi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna layanan telemedisin di Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Being an achievement student is a matter of pride for yourself, your parents and those around you. Becoming an achievement student will equip you to improve each individual's abilities and be able to compete in facing global challenges. All students have the same right to participate in the achievement student selection program. Therefore, in a university it is best to select the best students in an open and transparent manner. Selection of achievement students is also a form of appreciation from universities for students. To minimize errors in selection, it is necessary to have a system as a tool. The Decision Support Systems (DSS) for selecting achievement students at the LP3I Polytechnic Tasikmalaya Campus is assessed by Grade Point Average (GPA) with 4 criteria, namely formative, attendance, assignments, midterm exam and final exam.

Abstract

Excellent service has become one of the key indicators in enhancing the competitiveness of hospitals in the contemporary era. This study aims to identify and analyze effective hospital management approaches to improve excellent service through a systematic literature review method. The research employed the PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by reviewing 10 accredited national journals published within the last five years. The results reveal five main strategies in hospital management approaches that effectively promote excellent service: (1) training and development of human resources, (2) implementation of quality management methods such as SERVQUAL, Donabedian, and QFD, (3) integration of service-oriented values and culture, (4) optimization of service performance evaluation systems, and (5) utilization of technology and innovative approaches. The findings suggest that the success of excellent service is determined not only by technical medical aspects but also by strategic management that is responsive to patient needs, the reinforcement of service culture values, and the adoption of digital innovation. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance for hospitals to manage change in a planned manner, enhance human resource competencies, and conduct continuous service evaluations to create a superior, adaptive, and patient-oriented service ecosystem.

Abstract

This systematic review aims to explore the influence of service quality on patient satisfaction and loyalty in clinics. With the growing need for healthcare services and increasing competition among healthcare providers, understanding the key determinants of patient satisfaction and loyalty becomes crucial. The review analyzed multiple studies on service quality in clinics, focusing on key service dimensions such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. These dimensions are critical in forming patient perceptions and determining the overall patient experience. Our findings reveal that service quality significantly impacts patient satisfaction, which in turn fosters loyalty. Satisfied patients are more likely to return to the clinic for future services and recommend it to others. Factors such as the professionalism of healthcare providers, the cleanliness of the facilities, and efficient communication contribute to patient loyalty. However, not all patients react similarly, as individual demographic and clinic-specific factors can influence their responses. This review concludes with recommendations for clinics to enhance service quality and patient-centered care to maintain a competitive edge.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction and its impact on patient loyalty in hospitals. Good service quality is an important factor in building strong relationships with patients. Patients who are satisfied with the services they receive will tend to be more loyal and continue to use the same health services in the future. In addition, service quality can also affect how likely patients are to recommend the hospital to others. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to a number of patients in the hospital as respondents. The data were analyzed using a linear regression method to determine how much influence service quality has on patient satisfaction and loyalty. The results of the study showed that service quality has a significant effect on patient satisfaction, which ultimately strengthens their loyalty. Service quality is an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between patient satisfaction and loyalty. Thus, to increase patient loyalty, hospitals must continue to improve their service quality.
