Abstract

Background: Preliminary findings indicate a patient loyalty issue at XYZ Hospital, Tangerang. Purpose: To analyze the partial effect of Customer Perceived Value and Service Quality on Customer Loyalty, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of Customer Satisfaction. Method: A quantitative approach with an asymmetric causal design was employed. This study employed descriptive and verification methods and adopted a survey-based approach. The study was conducted at XYZ Hospital, Tangerang, Banten, in 2025. The population included all hospital outpatients, with a sample size of 123 respondents. Data were collected through a survey and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results: This study indicates that customer perceived value significantly influences customer satisfaction and loyalty. Service quality also has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. However, it does not mediate the relationship between customer perceived value and customer loyalty. Conclusion: increasing service quality and customer perceived value can increase satisfaction and loyalty, with satisfaction acting as a mediator, particularly in the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of job satisfaction in the influence of human resources (HR) and organizational culture on the quality of the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) at the Bandung High Court. The background of this study is the persistence of public complaints regarding aspects of service speed and procedures, which indicates the need to strengthen internal organizational factors. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory method. The research sample consisted of 103 employees determined using the Slovin formula from a total population of 137 people. Data were analyzed using path analysis with the help of IBM SPSS version 26. The results showed that HR and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and service quality. Job satisfaction was proven to have a significant effect on service quality. However, the Sobel test showed that job satisfaction does not act as a significant mediator in the relationship between HR and organizational culture on service quality. Organizational culture has a more dominant influence than HR. This finding confirms that improving service quality in judicial institutions is more effective if it is focused on directly strengthening HR and organizational culture, in addition to efforts to improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) in healthcare play a crucial role in determining the quality, safety, and sustainability of hospital services. As the healthcare sector undergoes rapid changes driven by digital transformation, increasing service complexity, and rising patient expectations, talent management has emerged as a strategic necessity for hospital organizations. This literature review aims to analyze the role of talent management in transforming the healthcare workforce by synthesizing findings from scientific articles published between 2018 and 2025. Databases including Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SINTA were reviewed using keywords related to talent management, healthcare workforce development, leadership succession, and hospital human resource strategies. The results indicate that talent management significantly enhances workforce competence, leadership capabilities, digital readiness, job satisfaction, and employee retention. It also contributes to reducing burnout, strengthening organizational culture, and improving interdisciplinary collaboration—factors essential for patient safety and service excellence. Moreover, talent management supports the adoption of digital health technologies by improving digital literacy among healthcare workers. However, several challenges persist, particularly in the Indonesian context, such as limited HR information systems, insufficient talent mapping, resistance from senior staff, and inadequate investment in digital training. Overall, this review highlights that talent management is not merely an HR function but a strategic driver of hospital performance and long-term sustainability. Integrating talent management into hospital planning, leadership development, competency assessment, and career pathways is essential to building an adaptive, innovative, and high-performing healthcare workforce capable of meeting future health system demands.

Abstract

Burnout is a psychological problem frequently experienced by healthcare workers due to high work demands, emotional stress, and patient care responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the influence of job strain and defense mechanisms on healthcare worker burnout, with resilience as an intervening variable at Dr. Nur Clinic in Cimahi City. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of healthcare workers working at Dr. Nur Clinic. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the relationship between the research variables. The results showed that job strain significantly influenced resilience, while defense mechanisms also had a significant influence on resilience. Resilience was shown to have a significant influence on healthcare worker burnout. Job strain did not directly influence burnout, while defense mechanisms had a significant effect on burnout. In addition, resilience was shown to mediate the relationship between job strain and defense mechanisms on burnout. The findings of this study indicate that burnout in healthcare workers is not only influenced by work pressure, but also by the individual's psychological ability to deal with work stress. Therefore, strengthening resilience and developing adaptive coping strategies are important to reduce the risk of burnout in healthcare workers.

Abstract

The decline in outpatient visits is a major challenge for regional hospitals amidst increasing competition in healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 7P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence) in increasing outpatient visits at Mayjen HM Ryacudu Regional General Hospital in Kotabumi, Lampung. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with management, medical personnel, and patients, which were then validated through source triangulation, field observation, and documentation. Then, they were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that price and place elements are the hospital's main strengths due to affordable rates and strategic location. However, limited pricing flexibility due to government regulations limits the function of price as a differentiation tool. People and process elements play a significant role in shaping patient perceptions of service quality, while promotion has not been optimally utilized. A SWOT analysis places the hospital in a position that requires aggressive market penetration through service digitalization and physical facility modernization to restore public trust and increase visits by BPJS and general patients. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating all elements of the 7P marketing mix synergistically to increase patient interest in visiting regional hospitals.

Abstract

Mothers play a crucial role in achieving child immunization coverage. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing maternal participation in the administration of the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine for infants aged 9–12 months in the working area of Rantau Panjang Public Health Center. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design, employing descriptive and verification methods. The population consisted of 283 mothers with children under two years old (BADUTA), and a sample of 74 respondents was selected using accidental sampling and the Slovin formula. The results show that maternal knowledge significantly influences participation in MR immunization (72.7%), as well as maternal behavior (59.8%) and support from healthcare workers (67.1%). Maternal education also has an effect (26.8%). However, family support and maternal age do not significantly influence participation. Simultaneously, knowledge, behavior, family support, healthcare support, age, and education contribute to a 71.3% influence on maternal participation in MR immunization. It is recommended that the Rantau Panjang Public Health Center enhance education for mothers regarding the importance of MR immunization through regular counseling sessions, visual media, and direct, easy-to-understand approaches. Effective education is expected to improve MR immunization coverage and support the national immunization program

Abstract

Service quality refers to the extent to which healthcare services can improve the desired health outcomes in accordance with the abilities and knowledge of professionals. One of the services in hospitals is Medical Rehabilitation. Based on the visit data to RSUD Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti in 2024 at the Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic, the three most common diseases out of the top ten at the Rehabilitation Polyclinic were obtained, namely: Sequela of cerebral infarction, primary gonarthrosis, and Low Back Pain. Currently, RSUD Kab. Kep. Meranti has only one Medical Rehabilitation Specialist Doctor who practices from Monday to Wednesday. This study is a quantitative research with an associative approach aimed at determining the effect of service quality and service accessibility on patient satisfaction and compliance with a total of 90 respondents. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing conducted simultaneously, Service Quality, Service Accessibility, and Patient Satisfaction have a significant effect on Patient Compliance. Nevertheless, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.257 indicates that the regression model can only explain 25.7% of the Patient Compliance variable, while the remaining 74.3% is influenced by other factors not studied in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the effectiveness of the online patient registration system at Maria Regina Hospital, Kotabumi, North Lampung. A quantitative survey design was employed, with 95 respondents selected via purposive sampling from a population of 1,800 patients. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression following conversion to interval scale via the Method of Successive Intervals (MSI). Results indicate that patient digital literacy (X1), hospital technology infrastructure (X2), and system usage guidelines (X3) simultaneously and partially exert a significant effect on the effectiveness of the online registration system (Y). The regression equation is Y = 18.795 + 0.392X1 + 0.384X2 + 0.410X3. The coefficient of determination R² = .681, indicating that 68.1% of the variation in system effectiveness is explained by the three independent variables. The F-test confirms F(3, 91) = 6.511, p < .05, validating the overall model. These findings imply that hospitals must pursue an integrated strategy encompassing digital literacy programs for patients, strengthened technology infrastructure, and improved user guidance to maximize the effectiveness of online registration and enhance the overall quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

School aged children are a vulnerable group to nutritional problems that may affect growth, cognitive development, and skills. One major contributing factor is inadequate knowledge of balanced nutrition. This study aimed to examine the differences and effects of Bookzi media and lecture methods on students’ knowledge and attitudes toward balanced nutrition among fifth-grade students at SDN 01 Mangga Dua Selatan. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was applied. The population consisted of 116 students, with 56 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using t-tests and F-tests with SPSS software. The results showed that both Bookzi media and lecture methods had significant partial effects on improving knowledge and attitudes toward balanced nutrition (p<0.05). Simultaneously, both methods significantly influenced all post-test variables (p=0.000). However, the increase in knowledge and attitude scores was higher in the Bookzi group than in the lecture group. These findings indicate that edutainment-based educational media are more effective in enhancing students’ understanding and fostering positive attitudes toward balanced nutrition.
