Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readiness of human, organizational, and technological aspects (HOT-Fit) in the digitalization of medical records to support the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) at Bhayangkara Hospital Level IV Cianjur. The research background is based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022, which mandates healthcare facilities to transition to electronic medical records, as well as the challenges faced by hospitals in terms of technological infrastructure, human resource skills, and system integration. This research employed a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with medical staff, medical record officers, IT teams, and hospital management. Data were analyzed with NVivo software using the HOT-Fit model as the analytical framework. The results indicate that technology is the most dominant factor in the successful implementation of EMR, particularly regarding user-friendliness, system speed, and cross-service integration. Organizational aspects highlight the importance of structural support, policies, and clear SOPs, while human aspects focus on user competence and acceptance. EMR implementation has proven to deliver tangible benefits, including improved work efficiency, streamlined administrative processes, and enhanced healthcare quality. In conclusion, the success of EMR implementation is not solely determined by technological readiness but also by the synergy of human and organizational factors.

Abstract

Human resources are crucial and inseparable from any organization, whether it be an institution or a hospital. Human resources are also key to determining the development of service quality, as assessed by performance. This study aims to analyze employee satisfaction, work motivation, and the quality of healthcare services at Cahaya Sangatta Maternity and Child Hospital, East Kalimantan. This study used a quantitative approach. The sample size consisted of 56 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and verification analysis using path analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of employee satisfaction, work motivation, and healthcare service quality indicated good ratings from respondents, although several areas needed to be improved. Meanwhile, the verification study, based on the path analysis model, showed positive path coefficients between variables, and the indirect effect path coefficient was greater than the direct effect (66.3% > 53.9%), indicating that work motivation, as an intervening variable, is able to mediate employee satisfaction and healthcare service quality.

Abstract

This study explores the integrated role of community health cadre empowerment, health post management, and hospital assistance in enhancing the quality and sustainability of primary healthcare services in Malang Regency. The research highlights how the empowerment of community health cadres (CHCs) serves as the foundation for effective grassroots health delivery by improving competence, motivation, and leadership in health promotion and disease prevention. Efficient health post management is identified as a critical mechanism for optimizing service organization, resource utilization, and community participation, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. Furthermore, hospital assistance acts as a catalyst for quality improvement by providing mentorship, technical supervision, and systematic evaluation that bridge the gap between institutional and community-based healthcare. Using a literature-based analytical approach, the study synthesizes findings from recent research and policy reports to assess the interrelationship between these three components. Results indicate that integrating empowerment, management, and institutional support significantly enhances service performance, strengthens referral systems, and increases community trust in health facilities. The analysis underscores that sustained collaboration among hospitals, community health centers, and local cadres is vital for building an inclusive and resilient healthcare system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of medical service quality and trust on patient loyalty with patient satisfaction as an intervening variable in the inpatient ward of Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin. Hospitals are required to consistently provide comprehensive healthcare services, maintain patient trust, and enhance the quality of their services in order to improve patient satisfaction. This research employed a quantitative approach. The sample of this study consisted of 78 patients at Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis and verification analysis with path analysis. The findings reveal that service quality and trust have a significant effect on improving patient satisfaction. Enhancements in service quality and trust can significantly contribute to higher levels of patient satisfaction. Service quality also has a significant effect on increasing patient loyalty, indicating that improved service quality can significantly foster greater patient loyalty. However, service quality and trust were found to have no direct significant effect on patient loyalty. Although improvements in service quality and trust may encourage higher patient loyalty, the effect was not statistically significant. Patient satisfaction demonstrated a significant influence on patient loyalty, suggesting that increased patient satisfaction can significantly enhance patient loyalty. Moreover, trust was shown to have a significant effect on patient loyalty when mediated by patient satisfaction. While improvements in trust may encourage greater loyalty through increased satisfaction, the effect was not statistically significant.

Abstract

The Emergency Department (ED) is a strategic service unit of hospitals with a high level of complexity and a significant potential for patient complaints if service quality is not optimally managed. Patient complaints not only reflect dissatisfaction but can also be utilized as a constructive effort for service quality improvement. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) by employees toward constructive hospital efforts as measured through patient complaints in the Emergency Department of Sultan Imanuddin Regional General Hospital. This study employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to ED staff and supported by patient complaint records, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that both partially and simultaneously, TQM dimensions including customer focus, leadership, continuous improvement, employee involvement, process approach, and fact-based decision making have a significant effect on constructive hospital efforts. Proper implementation of TQM is proven to reduce the number of complaints and improve the quality of emergency services. This study concludes that consistent implementation of TQM is an important strategy in managing patient complaints as a means of continuous improvement and enhancement of hospital service quality.

Abstract

PT. Jaswita Jabar, which is a Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) engaged in tourism, property and business services. PT. Jaswita Jabar has a vision to become the largest and most trusted property and tourism company in West Java in 2025. To achieve this vision, it is necessary to have a planned and structured business management so that PT. Jaswita Jabar is ready to compete in an increasingly competitive industrial world. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach, with descriptive and verification analysis. The research sample is employees in the PT. Jaswita Jabar environment. The results of the study using multiple linear regression analysis, obtained a regression equation model Y = a + 0.835X1 + 0.606X2, showing a positive direction coefficient, meaning that every change in leadpreneurship and competence will improve employee performance. While the results of the hypothesis test show a significant influence of leadpreneurship and competence on employee performance both partially and simultaneously, where the p-value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Image, trust, and service quality on patients’ revisit intention with patient satisfaction as a mediating variable at Bhayangkara Hospital, POLDA of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The increasing competition among hospitals demands a comprehensive evaluation of the factors that shape patient loyalty. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 250 patient respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings show that Brand Image, trust, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction and revisit intention. Patient satisfaction is also proven to mediate the relationship between the three independent variables and revisit intention, as indicated by p-values below 0.05. These results confirm that a positive hospital image, trust in the competence of medical staff, and superior service quality create a satisfying patient experience, thus encouraging revisit behavior. Theoretically, this study strengthens the conceptual model that satisfaction is a key element bridging patients’ perceptions and loyalty in the healthcare sector. Practically, the findings provide implications for hospital management to enhance the synergy between image management, trust-building, and service quality improvement to create sustainable patient satisfaction and retention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of official travel effectiveness and work discipline on work achievement and its implications for employee performance at the Department of Agriculture, Food Security, and Fisheries of Tasikmalaya Regency. The background of this study is based on the high intensity of official travel activities and the suboptimal level of employee discipline, which are suspected to affect productivity and organizational performance. This research employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. The number of respondents was 76 employees, determined using the Slovin technique. Data were analyzed using path analysis to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that the effectiveness of official travel and work discipline have a significant effect on work achievement, with coefficients of 0.327 and 0.416, respectively. Work achievement also has a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of 0.495. The indirect effect of official travel effectiveness on employee performance through work achievement is 0.219, while the direct effect is 0.104. The total contribution of the model to employee performance is 81.9% (R² = 0.819), with a residual error value of 0.43. The study concludes that effective management of official travel activities and consistent enforcement of work discipline play an important role in improving work achievement and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of total quality management and therapeutic communication on patient satisfaction with perceived service quality as mediation in the PMI Lamongan Blood Transfusion Unit. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of fluctuations in patient satisfaction and the imbalance between blood demand and supply. This study uses an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach, where objective, valid, and reliable data is obtained with the aim of discovering, proving, and developing knowledge that can be used to understand, solve, and anticipate problems using Partial Least Square statistical analysis. The study population consists of all patients receiving services at the PMI Lamongan Blood Transfusion Unit, while the sample comprises 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of the study show that there is an influence of Total Quality Management on satisfaction, there is an influence of Therapeutic Communication on patient satisfaction, there is an influence of Service Quality on patient satisfaction, there is an influence of Total Quality Management on patient satisfaction through perceived service quality, and there is no influence of Therapeutic Communication on patient satisfaction through perceived service quality. The research results are expected to provide information to the Blood Transfusion Unit of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Lamongan District as a reference for improving service quality for patients in an effort to enhance patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Pengembangan unit layanan rehabilitasi di rumah sakit swasta memerlukan analisis kelayakan finansial yang komprehensif untuk memastikan keberlanjutan investasi dan efisiensi alokasi sumber daya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kelayakan finansial kuantitatif dengan dukungan analisis manajerial kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 8 informan manajemen dan tenaga fisioterapis serta analisis laporan keuangan rumah sakit periode Januari–November 2025. Evaluasi investasi dilakukan menggunakan indikator Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dengan horizon investasi lima tahun. Dengan investasi awal sebesar Rp 1.000.000.000 dan asumsi pertumbuhan pendapatan 5% per tahun, diperoleh NPV sebesar Rp 245.137.000 pada tingkat diskonto 10%, IRR sebesar 18,19%, dan Payback Period selama 3 tahun 2 bulan. Uji sensitivitas pada diskonto 20% menunjukkan proyek mendekati titik impas, yang mengindikasikan tingkat risiko moderat. Pengembangan Unit Fisioterapi Medik dinilai layak secara finansial dan memiliki rasionalitas ekonomi dalam kerangka ekspansi layanan rumah sakit. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi rumah sakit swasta dalam merencanakan ekspansi layanan rehabilitasi yang berkelanjutan serta adaptif terhadap risiko regulasi dan pembiayaan kesehatan.
