Abstract

Ischemic stroke accounts for the majority of instances and is mostly linked to carotid artery stenosis brought on by inflammatory atherosclerosis. This study used medical record data of hospitalized ischemic stroke patients who had digital subtraction angiography (DSA) between January and August 2025. It was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design that was carried out at Dr. Moewardi Hospital in Surakarta from October to November 2025. Purposive sampling was used to choose samples based on inclusion and exclusion criteria; the North American Symptomatic Carotid Endarterectomy Trial (NASCET) criteria were used to determine the degree of carotid stenosis; SPSS version 25 was used for statistical analysis using Pearson or Spearman correlation tests based on data distribution. Most ischemic stroke patients were male, aged 50–64 years, with diabetes mellitus and hypertension as the main comorbidities, and the majority had mild to severe carotid stenosis, while a small proportion had critical stenosis or total occlusion. While sex, age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemia did not substantially correlate with the degree of carotid artery stenosis (p above 0.05), NLR was the only predictor that did (p below 0.001). NLR was the only independent predictor that was substantially correlated with the degree of carotid artery stenosis, according to multivariate analysis using ordinal logistic regression (B was 0.227; p was 0.012). In ischemic stroke patients at Dr. Moewardi Hospital in Surakarta, NLR is substantially correlated with and an independent predictor of the degree of carotid artery stenosis.

Abstract

This study aims to explore an effective educational supervision approach in the context of education in Indonesia, taking into account the influence of religious and cultural values. The background of this study is based on the importance of the role of supervisors in supporting teachers to achieve the educational goals that have been set. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation and interviews with educators as key informants. The findings of the study indicate that a collaborative and non-directive supervision approach is more effective in improving the quality of teaching, compared to a directive approach. In addition, social interaction between supervisors and teachers has been shown to be important in building better understanding and practice. The implications of this study emphasize the need for training for supervisors to develop skills in providing constructive feedback and creating a supportive working atmosphere. Thus, this study contributes to the development of better educational supervision practices, which can improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the managerial implementation of the Qur’an memorization (tahfiz) program in maintaining students’ memorization consistency at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. This research employed a qualitative evaluative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the program is relevant to strengthening students’ religious character, although the objectives have not been formulated in measurable terms. The program is supported by adequate resources; however, limitations remain in curriculum structure, facilities, and funding. The implementation process has been carried out, yet monitoring, coordination, and motivational reinforcement are not optimal. The program has a positive impact on students’ memorization achievement and religious attitudes, although memorization consistency has not been fully sustained. Strengthening managerial aspects is essential to ensure program sustainability.

Abstract

4C skills are one of the abilities in life that can produce knowledge personally and be used in society. This study aimed to develop an instrument for assessing students' 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity) on parabolic motion material. The model used in developing this research is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection methods were interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation with a population of 120 students and a sample of 60 students. The sample selection technique uses cluster random sampling. Based on the study results, the percentage of critical thinking criteria was 21.7 percent, low critical thinking was 28.3 percent, and poor critical thinking was 50 percent. The percentages with creative thinking criteria are 25 percent, 40 percent moderately creative, and 35 percent less creative. The percentage of collaboration skills that meet excellent criteria is 65 percent, and high collaboration skills are 35 percent. While the percentage of people with excellent communication skills was 8.3 percent, high communication skill was 83.3 percent, and fairly high communication skill was 8.3 percent. Based on these data, it concluded that the instruments developed were valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

Subjective well-being is a crucial indicator of positive psychological functioning among university students. However, loneliness remains a prevalent psychosocial issue in this population and is consistently associated with lower levels of subjective well-being. While previous studies have established a strong negative association between loneliness and subjective well-being, the psychological mechanisms underlying this relationship require further examination. This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of psychological immunity in the association between loneliness and subjective well-being among university students. Data were collected from 347 undergraduate students aged 18–25 years using standardized self-report measures assessing loneliness, psychological immunity, and subjective well-being. Mediation analysis revealed that loneliness was negatively associated with psychological immunity, while psychological immunity was positively associated with subjective well-being. Furthermore, psychological immunity partially mediated the relationship between loneliness and subjective well-being (indirect effect = −0.246, 95% CI [−0.395, −0.098]). These findings suggest that psychological immunity may represent an important internal psychological process linking loneliness and subjective well-being. The results highlight the potential value of strengthening psychological immunity as a target for interventions aimed at enhancing subjective well-being among university students experiencing loneliness.

Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education on practical worship materials, especially funeral arrangements, requires understanding that is not only theoretical, but also applicable through direct experience. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the experiential learning model in improving students' understanding of funeral arrangements material at MAS Baitul Kirom. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects include Islamic Religious Education teachers and Madrasah Aliyah students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out inductively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and its validity was tested by triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study indicate that the experiential learning model is applied systematically through four stages, namely concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. The implementation of this model provides a meaningful learning experience and contributes positively to students' understanding in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Overall, student understanding was in the good category, with an average class score of 82, and 79% of students achieving the Minimum Completion Criteria. Thus, the experiential learning model has proven relevant and effective in improving student understanding of practical worship materials on funeral arrangements and can be used as an alternative contextual and applicable Islamic Religious Education learning model.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of digital marketing through social media, particularly the TikTok Affiliate program, has created new entrepreneurial opportunities for Generation Z; however, it still faces challenges in terms of innovation and the implementation of Islamic business ethics. This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education on social media marketing, both directly and through the mediating roles of innovation and Islamic business ethics. This research employs a quantitative explanatory approach using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires from 250 Generation Z respondents aged 18–27 years who are active as TikTok Affiliates, and selected using purposive sampling. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on innovation, Islamic business ethics, and social media marketing. In addition, innovation and Islamic business ethics are proven to act as mediating variables. These results emphasize the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education, innovation, and Islamic business ethics in developing digital marketing strategies that are effective, ethical, and sustainable

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in many regions require internet access to market their products. Affordable internet packages are still very limited. Even if available, they are often managed individually. The need for internet access is critical. The solution is to provide training on internet network infrastructure development and digital literacy. The goal is to improve MSMEs' ability to utilize affordable internet technology to optimize their business potential. The training was conducted face-to-face, involving MSMEs and the surrounding community. The training included outreach on affordable internet, building a simple internet network, digital literacy training, and product marketing practices. The training results demonstrated a significant increase in participants' understanding of internet network concepts and their application to product promotion activities through social media. Participants were able to build a local area network (LAN), perform RJ45 crimping, and independently upload products to digital platforms. This training has had a positive impact on improving MSMEs' digital skills and competitiveness.
