Abstract

This study reviews the literature to examine the impact of healthcare administration digitalization on hospital service efficiency, with particular attention to the mediating role of healthcare worker satisfaction. Findings reveal that digitalization enhances efficiency through improved data accuracy, reduced administrative burden, optimized resource allocation, and better interdepartmental coordination. However, these benefits are not automatic; they are strongly mediated by the satisfaction of healthcare workers, who determine the level of adoption, utilization, and sustainability of digital systems. When digitalization initiatives are accompanied by adequate training, managerial support, and user-friendly system design, healthcare worker satisfaction increases, which in turn reinforces engagement, reduces turnover, and strengthens organizational efficiency. Conversely, poorly implemented systems may create dissatisfaction, stress, and new inefficiencies. This highlights the need for hospitals to adopt a holistic approach to digital transformation that balances technological innovation with human resource development. The review concludes that healthcare worker satisfaction is a pivotal mechanism linking digitalization and efficiency, and its integration into hospital management strategies is critical for achieving sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery.

Abstract

Patient safety represents a key indicator of healthcare quality, reflecting the ethical and professional responsibility of hospitals to protect patients from harm during medical care. This study aims to analyze the interrelationship between facilities and infrastructure quality and human resource competence on patient safety, with safety culture serving as an intervening variable. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study design, focusing on hospitals that have actively implemented patient safety programs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis, and were examined using thematic analysis to identify patterns and relationships among variables. The results show that adequate and well-maintained facilities form the structural foundation for patient safety, while competent healthcare personnel operationalize safety procedures through technical proficiency, clinical decision-making, and ethical responsibility. Safety culture emerges as a mediating force that unites these two components, fostering shared values of open communication, collective learning, and non-punitive responses to errors. The three factors interact synergistically, creating a sustainable safety ecosystem in which infrastructure quality, professional competence, and organizational culture reinforce one another.

Abstract

Patient safety is the foremost priority in healthcare services, with nurses playing a central role in preventing incidents through accurate reporting. However, in practice, patient safety incident reporting often encounters barriers due to limited knowledge and low motivation. This study aims to explain the influence of learning and motivation on nurses’ attitudes toward reporting patient safety incidents, using a descriptive-verificative method, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed with linear regression. The results indicate that nurses’ knowledge, motivation, and attitudes in carrying out reporting are categorized as good. Knowledge and motivation, both individually and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on nurses’ attitudes, indicating that these two variables are crucial factors in strengthening the culture of patient safety incident reporting. Knowledge and motivation serve as key determinants in shaping this reporting culture. Their integration provides both conceptual foundations and consistent practical encouragement, allowing the reporting culture to grow systematically, sustainably, and in support of healthcare quality. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous training and systematic motivational strategies as the foundation for consistent reporting of patient safety incidents, while also suggesting further research on the effectiveness of these interventions in nursing practice.

Abstract

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an important indicator in measuring the quality of healthcare services. Patients who are satisfied with the services they receive tend to have a positive view of healthcare facilities and are more likely to return to them for further care. The purpose of this systematic literature review is to determine the quality of healthcare services, patient satisfaction, and patient loyalty. A literature search was conducted through several electronic databases, including Google Scholar and PubMed, to capture articles published from 2020 to June 2025. The article selection process involved several stages of identification and screening based on title and abstract, followed by an assessment of the eligibility of full-text articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. All selection stages were documented using a PRISMA flowchart. The results of this study revealed that improving the quality of medical and non-medical services, optimizing administrative processes, effective and empathetic communication, personalizing the patient experience, and utilizing technology to facilitate access are key factors. Building strong and trusting relationships through patient engagement, actively listening to complaints, and offering reward programs are also crucial for fostering loyalty. It can be concluded that improving the quality of healthcare services is crucial because it can drive patient satisfaction, which in turn builds patient loyalty. Satisfied patients are more likely to return and recommend the provider, thereby enhancing the hospital's reputation and financial stability. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, employee compensation, and employee competence on employee performance at the District Court of Simpang Tiga Redelong and the Syar’iyah Court of Simpang Tiga Redelong, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province. The number of research samples was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 53 respondents from the total population of employees. The research method applied a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis conducted through SPSS version 16.0. Descriptive analysis revealed that the workload variable was categorized as low, while employee compensation, employee competence, and employee performance were categorized as good. The simultaneous test (F-test) produced an F-value = 9.546 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that workload, employee compensation, and employee competence collectively have a significant effect on employee performance. However, the partial test (t-test) showed varying contributions of each variable. The workload variable (BK) obtained a t-value of -0.953 with sig. 0.345 (> 0.05), meaning it had no significant effect on performance. The employee compensation variable (KSP) had a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 2.436 and sig. 0.019 (< 0.05). Meanwhile, the employee competence variable (KMP) showed a positive but not significant effect with a t-value of 1.679 and sig. 0.100 (> 0.05). Based on these findings, it is suggested that institutions should pay greater attention to balanced workload distribution, strengthen a fair and performance-oriented compensation system, and continuously foster employee competence development to enhance the long-term performance of judicial institutions.
