Abstract

This study aims to confirm the influence between product diversity variables and service quality variables on customer satisfaction at Al Mubarok Supermarket in Baras District, Pasangkayu Regency. The research method uses quantitative methods with primary data taken using a questionnaire. The population of respondents is consumers at Al Mubarok Supermarket. The sample was taken with an incidental sampling technique. The sample size was 96 respondents. The data obtained will be analyzed using a validity test, reliability test, t-test (partial), and f-test (tested together). The effect of product diversity t count is greater than the t-estimated (-0.528 < 1.661) so it does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality t count is greater than the t-estimated (2.764> 1.661) partially affects customer satisfaction. Shows that F-calculated is greater than F-estimated (3.959> 2.70) and the significance value (Sig = 0.022> a 0.05), indicating that simultaneously both have an influence.

Abstract

Public services are a series of activities in order to fulfill service needs in accordance with statutory regulations for every citizen, which are usually carried out by the government, including services at sub-district offices. In order for public satisfaction in services to be achieved, the performance factors of public service actors and trust need to be maintained and improved. This study relates to service satisfaction felt by the community in Peusangan sub-district, Bireuen Regency. Using the associative descriptive method relying on a sample of 96 respondents, representing the community in 25 villages, who carried out population administration at the sub-district office, the results were found; (1) public satisfaction is influenced by the performance of service employees, amounting to 36.28%, while the public service factor is 49.57% and public trust is 58.91%. (2) There is a significant causal relationship between performance, public service and public trust at a moderate level. And (3) If the contribution of the three factors, namely performance, service and public trust, to community satisfaction is very significant, it reaches 77.4%.

Abstract

A research has been done to identify the distribution of Culicoides species in Banda Aceh. Culicoides samples were collected by using modified Center for Disease Control (CDC) Miniatur Light Trap. All Culicoides samples has choice a small measured, were identified morfologically. The result showed that the number species Culicoides has caught in Ulee Kareng are: C. huffi, C. arakawae and C. shultzei, whereas in Alue Naga are C. huffi and C. shultzei. The distribution of species Culicoides in Ulee Kareng are: C. huffi has 22, C. arakawae 13 and C. shultzei 11. The average distribution of Culicoides in Alue Naga are C. huffi has 11 and C. shultzei has 4 .

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the challenges encountered in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy in Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Aceh and to propose strategies to address these challenges and enhance the effectiveness of policy implementation. The study focuses specifically on implementing the MBKM policy in PTKI in Aceh, which is noteworthy due to the unique obstacles relating to infrastructure and human resources in this region. The study offers strategic solutions that can be employed to improve the effectiveness of MBKM policy implementation. Furthermore, it provides valuable insights for other universities in Indonesia that may confront similar challenges in implementing the MBKM policy. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate PTKI subjects, using interviews, observations, and policy document analysis. The findings reveal that significant obstacles, including a lack of understanding and awareness, limited technological infrastructure, insufficient internet access, and financial constraints impede the implementation of PTKI in Aceh. To overcome these challenges, strategic efforts are needed to raise awareness and educate stakeholders about MBKM, upgrade technology and internet infrastructure, enhance human resource readiness and training, revise internal policies to support the flexibility of MBKM better, streamline bureaucratic processes, and explore additional or alternative sources of funding to support program implementation.

Abstract

Cross-cultural communication often presents significant challenges in multicultural rural areas, such as Aceh Timur, where residents and migrants interact within the same community. These challenges frequently give rise to misunderstandings and social tensions stemming from differences in cultural norms and language barriers. This study explores the primary obstacles to effective communication, examines their impact on social harmony, and proposes strategies to enhance mutual understanding and foster peaceful coexistence. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing methods such as in-depth interviews, participant observation. Analysis of the data reveals recurring themes and underlying factors that shape communication dynamics. From an Islamic communication perspective, shared religious values serve as a strong foundation for building mutual respect and understanding. However, differences in cultural traditions, social norms, and language use often challenge the implementation of Islamic principles such as tolerance (tasamuh) and unity (wahdah). Misaligned expectations regarding social etiquette frequently lead to misunderstandings, conflicts in resolving disputes, and communication difficulties tied to language diversity. Nevertheless, initiatives rooted in Islamic communication ethics—such as cultural exchange programs emphasizing ukhuwah Islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) and inclusive forums modeled on shura (mutual consultation)—have proven effective in strengthening relationships and reducing tensions. This study highlights the importance of integrating Islamic principles into community-led efforts to address cross-cultural communication issues. By presenting practical recommendations for fostering inclusivity and reducing conflicts, the findings offer valuable insights for policymakers and local leaders seeking to promote harmony, enhance social cohesion, and support sustainable development in culturally diverse rural settings.

Abstract

The current da'wah media continues to develop along with the development of information technology, this condition poses a challenge for preachers to be careful in choosing da'wah media. Information technology as a digital medium today can be used for various purposes, one of which is as a medium of da'wah, given the rapid development of technology in recent decades. This paper aims to analysis the opportunities and challenges of da'wah in the current era of information technology. This paper is a type of qualitative research with a netnographic approach, this approach aims to examine, observe and observe the use of information technology in preaching. In addition, to strengthen the data in this study, this paper also uses several important articles produced by the researchers. This paper argues that in Indonesia today the use of information technology with various digital media platforms is a priority in preaching, even with digital media making it easier for preachers to convey religious knowledge. Even da'wah through online media is able to reach and influence the whole world without having to meet in person, but the limited internet infrastructure available in remote areas is a separate obstacle.

Abstract

West Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a high level of seismicity. During August 2024 alone, there have been 134 earthquakes with 23 earthquakes centered on land. The high seismicity on land is caused by the many faults on the mainland of West Java. This paper presents the results of research on fault patterns in mainland West Java from earthquake data from 1953 - 2023. The data of this research was obtained from the USGS, BMKG, GFZ, IRIS and Global CMT websites. The selected data is an earthquake with a magnitude of ≥ 5 SR and a depth of ≤ 40 km with an area boundary of 5°85 ́- 8°13 ́S and 106°74 ́- 108°76 ́ E. Using the Focal Mechanism Method, it can be found that the fault pattern that causes earthquakes in West Java in 1953-2023 is 5 reverse fault, 2 Normal fault, and 1 Strike-slip Fault. The results of this research are expected to be used as material for the preparation of earthquake disaster mitigation in West Java.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Peyek is a small-scale business that focuses on production and sales, peyek traditional Indonesian snacks that all people can consume, rempeyek business is a potentially profitable business idea supported by simple products and small capital made from materials such as flour, peanuts, or salted fish grouse. Peyek MSME businesses can be run by individuals or small groups with limited resources. This business can be run from home or a small pro-duction site with the aim of meeting local or regional market demand. It is important to maintain product quality, promote products productively and keep up with the times so that they can adapt to market developments so that the business can be sus-tainable. Given the importance of PIRT permits and halal certificates in marketing a product, we were given the opportunity to serve in Serdang village regarding PIRT permits and halal certificates. With the intention of wanting to help MSMEs in Ser-dang Village.            Keywords:micro, small and medium enterprises (msmes); pirt permits; halal certificates  Abstrak: Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah ( UMKM ) Peyek merupakan bisnis skala kecil yang berfokus pada produksi dan penjualan, peyek makanan ringan tradisional indonesia yang semua kalangan dapat mengkonsumsi, usaha rempeyek merupakan ide bisnis yang berpotensi menguntungkan dengan di dukung oleh produk yang sederhana dan modal kecil yang terbuat dari bahan seperti tepung, kacang tanah, atau ikan asin belibis. Usaha UMKM peyek dapat dijalankan oleh individu atau kelompok kecil dengan sumber daya terbatas. Bisnis ini dapat dijalankan dari rumah atau tempat produksi kecil dengan tujuan memenuhi permintaan pasar lokal atau regional. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM, memperbaiki legalitas usaha, menggunakan media social untuk pemasaran, meningkatkan kesadaran Masyarakat tentang produk local, pemberdayaan social ekonomi dan mendorong inovasi produk serta edukasi berkelanjutan. Mengingat pentingnya izin PIRT dan sertifikat halal dalam pemasaran sebuah produk kami diberi kesempatan mengabdi di desa Serdang mengenai izin PIRT dan sertifikat halal. Abstract

Competition in today's business world is getting tighter, causing increasing competition for business people in today's very open market era. Activities and businesses carried out must be able to have a high selling value and have creativity to attract the attention of consumers. UMKM ARI TEMPE is one of the MSMEs located in Serdang Village, Meranti District, Asahan Regency that produces food. The problem faced by these MSMEs is that the production process is still very minimal, and the way of marketing products still uses a house-to-house system. The problem solving provided from this service program is to offer training and mentoring to increase production, providing assistance with tools and goods that can maximize production, and marketing training. The method of implementing this service activity is through Community Education, the core activities are training, and mentoring and evaluation. Implementation of training activities and production assistance to increase revenue through improving production quality and marketing. It can be concluded that there is a transfer of knowledge, especially on how to improve the quality of production and marketing with test results that show improvement. Through this training, it is expected to have a positive impact, especially improving performance in Ari Tempe MSMEs so that they can increase income from the products produced and increase customer satisfaction.            Keywords: increased; production; quality; marketing; tempeh  Abstrak: Persaingan di dunia bisnis saat ini semakin ketat, sehingga menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya persaingan para pelaku usaha di era pasar yang sangat terbuka saat ini. Kegiatan dan usaha yang dilakukan harus bisa memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi dan memiliki kreativitas untuk menarik perhatian konsumen. UMKM ARI TEMPE adalah salah satu UMKM yang berada di Desa Serdang, Kecamatan Meranti, Kabupaten Asahan yang memproduksi bidang pangan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM ini adalah proses produksi yang masih sangat minim sekali, dan cara pemasaran produk masih memgunakan sistem rumah ke rumah. Pemecahan masalah yang diberikan dari program pengabdian ini adalah menawarkan pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan produksi, pemberian bantuan alat dan barang yang dapat memaksimalkan produksi, dan pelatihan pemasaran. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melalui Pendidikan Masyarakat, kegiatan inti berupa pelatihan, dan pendampingan serta evaluasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi untuk meningkatkan pendapatan melalui peningkatakn kualitas produksi dan pemasaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi transfer pengetahuan khususnya tentang cara meningkatkan kualitas produksi dan pemasaran dengan hasil tes yang menunjukkan peningkatan. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif khususnya memperbaiki kinerja di UMKM Ari Tempe sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dari produk yang dihasilkan serta meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) To determine the planning of PAI and Character learning oriented to the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) in SMP 17 Mukomuko (2) To determine the implementation of PAI and character learning oriented to the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) in SMP 17 Mukomuko. (3) To find out the evaluation of PAI learning and character education oriented to the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) at SMP 17 Mukomuko. The type of research used in this study is qualitative, data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques are data collection is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. Research results: (1) Planning of PAI learning and character education oriented to the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) at SMP 17 Mukomuko There are 3 stages carried out by SMP N 17 Mukomuko to plan the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile, the first is forming a facilitator team. Second, identifying school readiness. Third, determining the dimensions, themes, and time allocation. Fourth is making learning modules and project modules. (2) Implementation of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is carried out through 2 activities, namely intracurricular activities and extracurricular activities. Intracurricular activities help strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile through PAI learning. There are 3 extracurricular activities used to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, namely, scouts as a mandatory extracurricular activity, speech, hadroh, karate, as an optional extracurricular activity. (3) Evaluation of Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP N 17 Mukomuko The assessment of the Pancasila Student Profile is still based only on report cards, intracurricular activities, extracurricular activities, and school culture. We have not conducted an evaluation because the Pancasila student profile strengthening project as a whole because the project theme is ongoing and the themes that can be evaluated per year are 3 project themes.
