Abstract

The development of telecommunications in Indonesia has significantly affected the emergence of the digital age, as the internet has become a daily necessity for community activities. Information and communication technology (ICT)-based learning is influencing teaching methods and learning media to use the internet for the learning process in the field of education. This study aims to analyze and graphically present data on the internet usage of rural and urban residents in all Indonesian provinces concerning their education levels. The presented data is in the form of types of internet usage that support the learning process so that it can become predominant in the use of the internet by rural and urban areas and serve as a positive input for internet service providers in the improvement of education-related services. The results indicated that using the Internet to support the learning process by communities in rural and urban areas of Indonesian provinces is one of the goals of using the Internet to obtain information for the learning process is 10%. D.I.Yogyakarta has the highest percentage 58,1%, indicating the most significant number of internet users for educational purposes. When students and student users access the internet to support the learning process, they engage in a variety of activities, including doing assignments, accessing e-learning tools, accessing media information to support learning, using web browsers to display social media, and accessing e-mail to submit assignments using smartphone media, which is the most prevalent form of internet access.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss effect of inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate on the composite stock price index. The type of research used in this research is casual research. This study uses quantitative data with the type of time series data. Samples taken from 2018 to the end of 2021, in the form of monthly data, the data is secondary data that has been validated and issued directly from the official website. The method of analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results show that inflation has a positive and significant effect on the composite stock price index. Exchange rate has a positive and insignificant effect on the composite stock price index. Interest rate has a positive and significant effect on the composite stock price index.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze effect of financial performance and investment decision on company value in Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The sample in this study is Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the observed period from 2018 to 2021. The sample selection method in this study is purposive sampling. Based on the criteria, the research sample was 36 companies, so the observations that were used as samples for this study were 108 observational data. Hypothesis testing in this study uses a partial test. The results show that financial performance has not significant effect on company value in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Investment decision has significant effect on company value in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, many industries have developed rapidly and become industries that are able to provide consumer goods. However, with the development of the times, consumer needs are also increasing and varied. There are also many new companies that have been established and can also fulfill human needs. The human population is also increasing every day, so the need will also be endless. The purpose of this study is to analyze effect of price, brand image, and product quality on customer loyalty. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The population in this study are customers of PT Sarang Tawon Sukses Abadi totaling 75 respondents. The samples taken in this study are customers of PT Sarang Tawon Sukses Abadi totaling 75 respondents. Data analysis in the study of multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that price has a positive and insignificant effect on customer loyalty. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effect of total quality management on visitor satisfaction and its effect on service quality. The population in this study are library employees at Universitas Pattimura, Ambon. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a number of respondents as many as 33 respondents. Data are collected using a questionnaire as the main instrument and a questionnaire using the likert scale to measure respondents' answers. Hypothesis testing using partial least square test. The results show that total quality management has a positive effect on visitor satisfaction at the Library at Universitas Pattimura, Ambon. Visitor satisfaction has a positive effect on service quality at the Library at Universitas Pattimura, Ambon.

Abstract

Forecasting is an activity to get an estimate of the value that will appear in the future by paying attention to past events. Forecasting can be used as decision support in determining a policy in various fields. Forecasting can be done using statistical methods such as regression analysis, trend analysis, MA, and ARIMA. In this paper, the fuzzy time series markov chain method will be forecast which will be applied to rice production data in D.I. Yogyakarta Province. The fuzzy time series markov chain method was chosen because it does not need to meet certain assumptions so that the fuzzy time series markov chain can be applied to time series data with stationary and non-stationary patterns. This study aims to analyze fuzzy time series markov chain for rice production forecasting. This study uses time series analysis. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data used in this study is data on rice production in D.I. Yogyakarta Province in 1970-2017 taken from the website www.pertanian.go.id. Historical data consists of 48 data. Solving this research problem using fuzzy time series markov chain method. The results of the study show that forecasting with 11 fuzzy sets is declared the best forecast with a mean absolute percentage error of 4.156%. .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze business strategy formulation based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, case study of PT Hatten Wine Bali. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The type of data used is secondary data and data collection using observation. The analysis technique used is SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that PT Hatten Wine Bali already has more value than other competitors, which is supported from the production process to the quality of the final product which is so selective that the quality of the product becomes the main reference.

Abstract

Foreign exchange reserves need to be predicted because it is a significant monetary indicator to show the strength or weakness of a country's economic fundamentals. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to estimate the position of Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves at the end of 2022 and 2023 so that the government has benchmarks and information in determining the right economic policy so that the position of foreign exchange reserves remains stable. The estimation algorithm used in this study is the Bayesian Regulation algorithm, one of the Artificial Neural Network algorithms. The research data used is data on the position of Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves (US$ million) obtained from the economic reports of Bank Indonesia. This research will be analyzed using three network architecture models 4-9-1, 4-18-1, and 4-27-1. Based on the analysis of the three models used, the results show that the 4-27-1 model is the best because it has a lower Mean Square Error (MSE) value of 0.00203297. Another benchmark is seen from more minor epochs (iterations) and faster times than the other two models, even though they both produce a 100% accuracy rate. Thus, it can be concluded that the Bayesian Regulation algorithm is good enough to estimate the position of foreign exchange reserves using the 4-27-1 model. Based on the prediction results, the part of Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves at the end of 2022 and 2023 slightly decreased compared to 2021.

Abstract

Untuk periode 2016 hingga 2019, penelitian ini secara empiris mengevaluasi faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen pada industri makanan dan minuman. Terdapat lima variabel independen yang diuji dengan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linier berganda, dan pengujian hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan makanan dan minuman, dan setiap triwulan mengambil enam sampel usaha yang memenuhi persyaratan khusus untuk periode 2016-2019. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk regresi linier berganda adalah Random Effect Model pada hasil panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai R-squared yang dimodifikasi sebesar 25,62% antara variabel dependen dan dalam pengujian hipotesis arus kas dari operasi, return on equity, debt-equity ratio, cash ratio, dan ukuran bisnis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Secara simultan, dalam hasil studi regresi panel, return on equity, debt-equity ratio, cash ratio, dan business size berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen dan arus kas dari operasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Pertumbuhan penjualan mampu memoderasi dampak pengembalian ekuitas pada kebijakan dividen dan tidak dapat memoderasi dampak ukuran bisnis pada kebijakan dividen.

Abstract

There are two types of investors, the first is the type of investor who focuses on return on investment and the second type is the investor who pays attention to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values in investing. This requires management to make adjustments to create a competitive advantage. One of the frameworks used to measure the competitive advantage of a company is the Porter framework. However, Porter's framework needs to be supplemented with ESG values to capture the value creation process in today's business environment. This research is applied research by applying the existing framework in the field. In this case, the framework used consists of two, namely the Porter framework and the LST integration framework. The ESG framework is implemented at the industrial level using industrial divisions based on industrial divisions in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study focused on the raw material production sector, namely agriculture, and mining. This study showed that ESG factors affected the competitive advantage of companies and industries. If a company in an industry ignores the value of ESG, the company will experience a decrease in competitiveness. Meanwhile, if the industry does not pay attention to the ESG factor, the industry will experience a decline compared to other industries that pay attention to the ESG factor.
