Abstract

This research investigates the important function of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) in directing and regulating the social interactions of modern teenagers. This research is based on historical narratives in the Islamic tradition and the importance of Jurisprudence in overcoming problems such as juvenile delinquency. In addition, this research emphasizes how important it is for the principles of Fiqh to be applied practically in everyday life. According to this research, Jurisprudence education goes beyond theoretical understanding and requires the application of knowledge in the real world, which integrates theory and action. The aim of this research is to reveal methods for improving relationships in an era of disruption through the science of jurisprudence. This research uses library research methods, reviewing relevant literature to analyze the concept of adolescent social interaction from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. The results of this research indicate that Islamic principles are not in accordance with current teenage trends, such as changing clothing styles, increasing premarital relationships, drug propaganda, and materialistic transmission. This article emphasizes that parents and teenagers must help children bridge the gap between Islamic values and modern lifestyles, with the importance of fiqh education in adolescence as a basis for living a life in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

The role of Muhammadiyah as a modernist Islamic movement in Indonesia with a focus on two main characters, namely tajdid (renewal) and tarjih (legal selection). Tajdid is the basis of the movement to respond to the challenges of the times without leaving the authentic teachings of Islam, while tarjih functions as a methodological guideline in making legal decisions based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. By combining tajdid and tarjih, Muhammadiyah seeks to actualize Islam in a dynamic socio-community context and make a significant contribution to national development. The purpose of this study is to reveal Muhammadiyah as an Islamic Movement with Tajrid and Tajdid Characters. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, by using books, magazines, articles and other sources both offline an online as the main data sources in addition to interviewing Muhammadiyah figures around. The results of this study indicate that Muhammadiyah often describes this organization as an Islamic movement that has tajrid (purification) and tajdid (renewal) characters. Muhammadiyah was founded by KH. Ahmad Dahlan in 1912 with the aim of returning Islamic teachings to their original sources, namely the Qur'an and Sunnah

Abstract

Religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the faith and character of children from an early age. One of the important subjects in Islamic religious education at the elementary school level is the teaching of the concept of the Day of Judgment. This teaching is expected to strengthen students' faith and shape their behavior in accordance with religious teachings. This study aims to analyze how the teaching of the Day of Judgment in elementary schools can build children's faith. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teaching about the Day of Judgment enhances students' understanding of the afterlife and the importance of good deeds. Varied teaching methods, such as storytelling, discussions, and reflective activities, proved effective in helping students understand these abstract concepts. This learning also has a positive impact on students' attitudes and behaviors, such as increased discipline, honesty, and empathy toward others. However, there are challenges in teaching abstract concepts to children that need to be addressed with more creative and contextual approaches.

Abstract

The act of sacrifice (udhiyah) is a form of worship in Islam that holds profound spiritual and social values. Sacrifice aims to draw closer to Allah SWT while demonstrating solidarity with others through the distribution of meat to the community, especially those in need. However, the implementation of sacrifice is often not fully understood, particularly regarding its rulings and etiquettes, such as the selection of animals, slaughtering procedures, and meat distribution. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the rulings of udhiyah and the etiquettes of sacrifice based on Islamic law.The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected from primary sources such as the Qur'an and hadith, as well as secondary sources including books of Islamic jurisprudence, scholarly journals, and other relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to identify and organize systematic insights related to the topic. The results indicate that sacrifice is obligatory for those who can afford it according to some scholars, while the majority consider it a strongly recommended act (sunnah muakkad). The etiquettes of sacrifice include sincere intentions, selecting animals that meet Islamic requirements, proper and humane slaughtering, and proportional meat distribution. Sacrifice also holds spiritual wisdom, such as strengthening faith and gratitude, as well as social benefits by fostering community bonds through sharing. This study concludes that sacrifice is not merely an annual ritual but also a reflection of values such as devotion, sincerity, and solidarity that must be instilled continuously in the lives of Muslims.

Abstract

In modern life, shirk has become one of the things that have a negative impact on individuals and society. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the threats of Allah SWT caused by the practice of shirk in everyday life. This article identifies the root causes of modern shirk, its relevance in social and spiritual contexts and constructive solutions to overcome it using analytical theory and empirical facts. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method, by making the Qur'an, hadith books, books, magazines, articles and leading journals as the main reading sources to be analyzed and concluded into a writing. It is hoped that this method can increase understanding of the complexity of modern shirk and the importance of avoiding its negative impacts. The results of this analysis indicate that to overcome the act of shirk in modern life, appropriate actions and interventions are needed from individuals and society. It was found that the worst consequences of this act of shirk are two kinds of threats from Allah, the first is the threat in (QS. Al Maidah, 5: 72-73); (1) The perpetrator is an infidel, (2) the perpetrator is prohibited from entering heaven, (3) he is guaranteed to go to hell, (4) There will be no intercession in the afterlife. The two threats from Allah in (Q.S. Maryam, 19: 90) 1. The sky is broken, 2. The mountain is erupted, 3. The earth is split (earthquake).
