Abstract

When carrying out regular reporting, each servant reported a number of problems and potentials in Bengkol Mdura village, Bengkol Manado village, and Mekar Sari Jambi village which have a number of potentials to be developed into tourism villages with their own characteristics. The reult in this article show 1. Comparative studies have the main objectives, namely: 1. Comparing various groups or elements. 3. Identify common differences and similarities. 2. Data collection methods such as surveys, interviews, or secondary data analysis are used for various purposes, such as improving understanding, decision making, or hypothesis testing. 2. Tourism villages in the context of rural tourism are tourism assets based on rural potential with all its uniqueness and attractions which can be utilized and developed as a tourism product to attract tourist visits to the village location. 3. The author and teacher in this article believes that comparative studies are a solution for Bengkol Madura village, Bengkol Manado village, and Mekar Sari village in studying all aspects of tourist villages that have been recognized, have stable Village Original Income, and have been running for more from one year, in this case the villages of Tondano, Muaro Jambing, and Slopeng which became models for creating tourist villages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami pengaruh pengembangan karir dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Ciomas Adistwa Maros. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden yang merupakan karyawan tetap dan sudah bekerja selam 3 tahun di perusahaan PT.Ciomas Adistwa Maros. Hasil penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Teknik analisis data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis statistik melalui pendekatan analisis deskriptif, uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik dan uji regresi linear berganda. Untuk uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunkan uji t, uji koefisien korelasi (r) dan uji koefisien determinasi (r2). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, namun untuk komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengembangan karir lebih dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT.Ciomas Adistwa Maros.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to empirically investigate the effect of critical TQM practices on operational performance of medium and large manufacturing companies in Makassar. The critical total quality management (TQM) practices divided into three factors, i.e. strategic, tactical, and operational factors as predictors of operational performance. Total of popula- tion were 143 manufacturing companies. A questionnaire designed and distributed to all population, a total of 59 returned. It consists of both 29 medium companies and 30 large companies. Data analysis use both descriptive and multiple regression analysis (MRA).The empirical analysis demonstrates several key findings: data analysis reveals that there was a positive effect of critical TQM practices which consists of strategic, tactical, and operational factors on operational performance. Tactical factors were the strongest significant predictors of operational performance. Overall, the results showed the central role of the tactical fac- tors as critical factors in improving the operational performance within medium and large companies in Makassar manufacturing industrial. There were some research limitations. For instance, the study is using perceptual data provided by production managers or quality managers which may not provide clear measures of performance

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate the effect of Information Technology (IT) on competitive advantage, especially food and beverage industry in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The research used survey approach and the data were collected by questionnaire. The unit of analysis is big and medium scale companies. The respondents are the managers of companies. There were 126 companies that were surveyed and the total of 100 had completed questionnaires returned as the final sample. Three hypotheses have been developed through literature review and tested using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that Information Technology which consists of IT for administration, IT for communication, and IT for production has significant effect on competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is more influenced by IT for production than by both IT for administration and IT for communication.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the company's use of derivative instruments in facing the crisis. The research method is qualitative research a research method used to understand social phenomena in depth. This type of research is library research which researchers carry out by collecting, studying and analyzing references or sources. obtained in writing or written form such as books, journals, articles, documents and other sources of information that are significant to the topic/title being researched. The research results show that the use of derivative instruments by companies in facing a crisis is an important strategy to protect asset value, manage risk and maintain business continuity. Derivative instruments can provide significant benefits, such as hedging against price or exchange rate fluctuations, better risk management, additional access to liquidity, and portfolio diversification.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand how organizational culture influences employee performance, which is very important in creating a positive work environment and increasing overall organizational effectiveness. This research involved collecting qualitative data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. A diverse sample from various levels and departments within the organization will be selected to ensure a comprehensive understanding of cultural dynamics and their impact on employee performance. Through an iterative process of data collection and analysis, this research aims to develop a theoretical framework that explains the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. This framework will provide insight into specific cultural elements, such as values, norms, communication patterns, and leadership styles, that influence employee behavior and ultimately influence their performance outcomes. The findings of this research will contribute to theoretical and practical knowledge. Theoretically, this research will increase our understanding of the complex interactions between organizational culture and employee performance. Practically, the findings of this research can inform organizations about the importance of developing a positive and supportive culture that is aligned with desired performance outcomes. This knowledge can guide organizations in designing effective interventions, such as training programs, leadership development initiatives, and communications strategies, to establish a culture that maximizes employee performance and organizational success.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the paradoxical influence of ethnocentrism in fostering multicultural identity as an attraction for super priority destinations; and (2) the paradoxical influence of ethnocentrism increases local tourists' interest in visiting super priority destinations. This research is qualitative-descriptive research. The results of this research show that (1) the ethnocentrism paradox has a positive influence on the development of super-priority tourism through multicultural identity, the government can take advantage of a society's ethnocentrism attitude at the right level to introduce local culture and customs, through tourist visits to local residential areas which generally still maintain tribal customs or through performances that introduce local regional arts in super priority destination areas in Indonesia; and (2) the paradox of ethnocentrism has a positive effect on local tourists' interest in traveling to super-priority destinations, tourists who have a high ethnocentrism attitude become more concerned about the existence of super priority destinations as domestic tourism.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research with an exploratory approach. The data used in this research is secondary data that researchers obtained from books, scientific articles and other sources commonly used in every research. The data is collected first, then selected which ones best suit the theme of this article, and finally the data is analyzed and conclusions are drawn. The result in this article show the Halal Value Chain can be effective and become its own strength if implemented in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia due to two things, namely first, Indonesia is the country with the first largest Muslim population in the world. Second, Indonesia has a lot of potential, especially in the food sector. Indonesia has 15 types of the most delicious food in the world which are of course halal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of incentives and organizational commitment on job satisfaction at PT ABC in Pekalongan City. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires. A sample of 90 employees was selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, supported by SmartPLS version 3.2.9 software. The findings reveal that incentives have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction at PT ABC in Pekalongan City. Similarly, organizational commitment also significantly influences job satisfaction. Furthermore, both incentives and organizational commitment together contribute to job satisfaction at PT ABC in Pekalongan City.

Abstract

In this modern era, all fields are required to move faster so time is considered very valuable in this era. Therefore, transportation as a tool used by humans to travel is also required to be improved so that it can be faster and more comfortable. The aim of this research is to find out whether service quality influences consumer satisfaction when ordering long-distance train tickets via the KAI Access application. The data collection method used in this research is by using a questionnaire, which is a data collection technique that is carried out by giving a set of questions or statements to consumers or users of the KAI Access application. The data analysis method in this research uses descriptive analysis, simple regression and coefficient of determination. The research results show that service quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction when ordering train tickets via the KAI Access application. This is known from the results of the t test where the t count of 9.017 is greater than the t table value of 1.984 or can be seen from the significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.
