Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies in the admission of new students at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research. This research uses data sources consisting of two types, namely primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that: First, marketing strategy planning at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang is the main thing in the New Student Admission (PPDB) activity. Planning involves the principal, the vice principal of student affairs, and the school marketing team. The planning of marketing activities in PPDB at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang includes creating a committee structure, determining work programs, implementation, and evaluation. Second, at the implementation stage of marketing strategy planning, SMK Negeri 3 Palembang conducts a school promotion strategy by applying the 5 elements of the marketing mix, collaborating, and providing the best possible service to the community. Third, the evaluation of the marketing strategy at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang is carried out at the end of the PPBD implementation period in the form of an accountability report. Fourth, the problematic marketing strategy of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang in the 2022-2023 school year runs less than optimal due to the lack of enthusiasm for work motivation and teamwork of the organizing committee for new student admission activities.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a project-based co-curricular activity designed to develop students in alignment with the six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. P5 provides students with opportunities to experience project-based learning by engaging with their surrounding environment. SD Negeri 75 Palembang is one of the schools that has implemented the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. This study aims to describe the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in Grade IV at SD Negeri 75 Palembang. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Grade IV teachers at SD Negeri 75 Palembang still encounter several challenges in implementing P5, including: (1) determining appropriate project themes, (2) utilizing available facilities and infrastructure, (3) limited time allocation, and (4) designing project modules. The efforts undertaken by the school to overcome these difficulties include: (1) establishing collaborations with external partners, (2) condensing P5 implementation into one month each semester, and (3) organizing teacher learning groups as a platform for teachers experiencing challenges in implementing P5.

Abstract

The general background of this study highlights the rapid transformation of contemporary Islamic education amid globalization, digitalization, pluralism, and secular value shifts that challenge traditional pedagogical models. The specific background shows that Islamic educational institutions are under increasing pressure to integrate technological innovation, multicultural competence, and moral formation to remain relevant. The knowledge gap lies in the limited scholarly synthesis that holistically maps effective strategies for balancing Islamic principles with the demands of modern social and cultural contexts. This study aims to identify adaptive, comprehensive strategies that strengthen the integrative role of Islamic education through curriculum reform, ICT integration, educator empowerment, and family–community collaboration. The results reveal that transformative, value-based, and technologically enriched approaches significantly enhance Islamic education’s responsiveness to global challenges. The novelty of this study lies in offering an integrated framework that connects ethical-spiritual formation with modern pedagogical innovation, grounded in literature from 2018–2025. The implications suggest that Islamic education can serve as a sustainable moral compass and social catalyst when it harmonizes faith, knowledge, and culture to develop intellectually competent, socially aware, and spiritually resilient learners. Highlights: Contemporary Islamic education must balance tradition with global social–cultural change. Integrative strategies—curriculum reform, ICT, and educator empowerment—enhance relevance. Harmonizing faith, knowledge, and culture strengthens learners’ moral and intellectual resilience. Keywords: Islamic Education, Globalization, Digitalization, Moral Development, Integrative Strategy

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the challenges faced by teachers as well as the strategies used to overcome them. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with participants consisting of the school principal, homeroom teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include structured interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation, while data analysis follows the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that teachers experience significant obstacles in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the P5 program, particularly in determining performance concepts, managing time, and preparing costumes and properties. The study highlights that collaboration among teachers, school leaders, and parents, along with the use of simple materials, is effective in addressing these challenges. The conclusion asserts that the implementation of P5 strengthens students’ character and awareness of diversity; however, further research is needed to generalize the findings and explore the role of technology in project-based learning.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of outdoor learning on the socio-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at TK IKI PTPN VII Musi Landas. A quantitative one-group pretest–posttest design was employed with 14 purposively selected children who participated in structured outdoor learning sessions. Children’s socio-emotional development was assessed through systematic observation conducted before and after the intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in socio-emotional development following outdoor learning activities (t_cal = 14.741, α = 0.05). Post-intervention observations revealed notable gains in empathy, cooperation, responsibility, independence, and emotional control. Outdoor settings provided children with authentic opportunities to interact with peers and the environment, encouraging social sensitivity, self-regulation, and confidence through active, contextual experiences. These findings suggest that outdoor learning can function as an effective pedagogical strategy to strengthen socio-emotional competencies in early childhood, complementing cognitive growth with meaningful social and emotional engagement. The study offers practical evidence for educators and schools to integrate well-designed outdoor activities into daily learning to support holistic child development.

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually examine the scope of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum as the foundation for shaping students’ faith, morals, and character. The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method by analyzing various literature sources related to curriculum theory and Islamic education. Data were analyzed using content analysis to explore the main components within the scope of the PAI curriculum. The findings indicate that the scope of the PAI curriculum includes the Qur’an and Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Islamic Cultural History, and Arabic Language. These components function integrally to develop students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in a balanced way. The PAI curriculum continues to evolve in response to educational needs and societal changes, culminating in the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes character formation and the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. In the modern era, the PAI curriculum serves as a moral safeguard and a means of character education, preparing students to face global challenges while maintaining their Islamic and national identity.
