Abstract

This research aims to develop a mentoring cycle model for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and education staff at non-formal PAUD institutions in Bukittinggi. This model is designed to improve pedagogical, professional and spiritual competencies through a systematic and sustainable approach. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method of the modified Borg & Gall model, involving needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the mentoring cycle model for PAI teachers and education staff in Bukittinggi Non-Formal PAUD. Qualitative data was collected through interviews and observations, while quantitative data was obtained from pretest-posttest. The effectiveness of the model is measured using the N-Gain Score test. The research results show that the mentoring cycle model developed is able to provide effective guidance in improving the quality of teaching and management of education staff in non-formal PAUD Bukittinggi. Assistance is carried out through a series of activities such as training, supervision, mentoring and evaluation which are designed adaptively according to local needs. The implementation of this model also shows an increase in participant competency in the aspects of teaching skills, understanding religious material and managing institutions. Thus, this model can be a strategic solution for developing the capacity of PAI teachers and education staff in the non-formal PAUD sector in Bukittinggi.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Quality Management Patterns in Islamic Education to Enhance Students' CompetenciesObjective: This study aims to explore the pattern of quality management in Islamic education and analyze how its implementation can improve student competence with a focus on strengthening Islamic values, integrated curriculum, teacher competence as a role model, and Islamic value-based evaluation. Methods: This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources for this research consist of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis in this study follows the Miles and Huberman model. The research employs several techniques to ensure data validity, such as source, technique, member checking, and audit trail triangulation. Results: Integrating Islamic values in curriculum and learning can create an Islamic environment and support the development of students' character. Conclusion: High teacher competence as the main role model is also important in improving the quality of Islamic education. Islamic value-based evaluation also plays a role in measuring overall competency achievement. Hasil: pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang Islami dan mendukung perkembangan karakter peserta didik. Kesimpulan: kompetensi guru yang tinggi sebagai teladan utama juga menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam. Evaluasi yang berbasis nilai Islam turut berperan dalam mengukur pencapaian kompetensi secara menyeluruh. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa melalui manajemen mutu berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

Brain -based teaching model is a new paradigm that can facilitate students in optimizing student learning by the functioning the brain as a whole. Lessons are held today assume that all students equally so that learning provide the same services to each student in the class. With this model, the students are given different stimulation according to their abilities and needs. Base on brain learning theory -based teaching, the learning should pay attention to the five needs of the brain in general. The fifth factor is the need for a sense of comfort, the need for interaction, the need for knowledge, the need for the activity and the need for self-reflection. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model asesmen inklusif berbasis kearifan lokal Minangkabau dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di madrasah Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menjawab kesenjangan antara pendekatan asesmen standar dengan kebutuhan evaluasi yang responsif budaya dan mengakomodasi keberagaman kemampuan siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan research and development dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan melalui studi pendahuluan, desain model berdasarkan kajian literatur dan nilai kearifan lokal, validasi ahli melibatkan pakar pendidikan Islam dan budaya Minangkabau, serta uji coba terbatas di 12 madrasah, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan nilai filosofis Minangkabau Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah (ABS-SBK) ke dalam kerangka asesmen inklusif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala madrasah, focus group discussion dengan praktisi pendidikan, observasi kelas terstruktur, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum serta instrumen asesmen yang melibatkan 45 guru PAI di 12 madrasah di Bukittinggi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan implementasi asesmen inklusif, analisis konten untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang relevan, dan triangulasi data untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai Minangkabau seperti musyawarah, kato nan ampek, dan jo mufakat secara signifikan meningkatkan inklusivitas dan relevansi budaya asesmen. Model yang dikembangkan terbukti efektif mengakomodasi siswa dengan kebutuhan belajar beragam sambil mempertahankan koneksi autentik dengan konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur asesmen pendidikan dengan menyediakan bukti empiris tentang praktik asesmen inklusif berbasis budaya dalam setting pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study investigates the "internalization deficit" in Islamic ecotheology at MAN 1 Tanah Datar, where the flexibility of the Merdeka Curriculum paradoxically leads to the neglect of affective dimensions. The research aims to bridge the cognitive-affective gap by leveraging a meaningful learning framework to address superficial environmental ethics. The primary focus is directed toward deconstructing current assessment models that fail to engage the spiritual and emotional dimensions of students in Islamic Education (PAI). Utilizing a qualitative phenomenological design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and data triangulation involving 5 PAI teachers and 15 students. The results reveal a profound "affective void," as curriculum implementation prioritizes cognitive mastery and administrative reporting over spiritual cultivation. Current evaluation instruments are hindered by a "quantification bias" that measures only administrative compliance, preventing ecotheological values from internalizing into authentic behavioral traits (akhlak). The study concludes that internalizing ecological values requires the adoption of "slow pedagogy" and a transition toward qualitative-affective assessment methods, such as reflective journals and long-term behavioral tracking in local ecosystems. These findings recommend a reconstruction of authentic environmental ethics by prioritizing sincerity (ikhlas) and spiritual responsibility as stewards of the Earth (Khalifah).

Abstract

Organizing Employee Recruitment at the Insprasi Learner Foundation is an educational institution that is committed to providing quality educational services for students and the community. In this eflort, educational institutions need good public relations management to build a positive image, expand cooperation networks, and increase community participation in educational activities. In this article, we discuss the main functions of educational public relations management according to experts and the importance of public relations management in the implementation of education. We also reviewed the implementation of public relations management carried out by the Learner Inspiration Foundation, starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. This evaluation includes customer satisfaction evaluation, employee performance evaluation, learning program evaluation, and social activity evaluation. By conducting regular evaluations, existing deficiencies can be corrected and the quality of educational services provided to students and the community can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects through the use of audio-visual media at UPTD SMPN 2, Bukik Barisan District. The method used is an experiment with a quantitative approach, involving two groups of grade IX students, namely the control group and the experimental group. The results of the study showed that the use of audio-visual media significantly increased students' understanding and interest in PAI materials. Data analysis was carried out using pretest and posttest tests, which showed an increase in the average score of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings recommend the integration of audio-visual media in the learning process to improve the quality of education, especially in teaching PAI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Quizizz-based assessment on improving Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning outcomes of students at SMPN 4, Payakumbuh District. The problem faced is the low PAI learning outcomes caused by the lack of interaction and motivation in reading test questions. As a solution, the researcher implemented a Quizizz-based assessment, an interactive quiz platform that allows students to be more active and motivated in participating in the evaluation. The approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research. Data were collected through learning outcome tests given before and after the implementation of Quizizz. The results of the study showed that the completeness of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle before using Quizizz-based assessment was 51.72%. After using Quizizz, in cycle I the percentage of student learning outcomes reached 79.13%, in cycle II the learning outcomes increased to 82.75%. In cycle III the percentage of student learning reached 93.10%. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of Quizizz-based assessment. Therefore, the implementation of Quizizz-based assessment can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 4, Payakumbuh District.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education through the application of active learning models to students of class IX.1 at SMPN 1 Guguak District. The learning outcomes of most students in the PAI subject show low results or are below the minimum competency standards. This is due to the low level of student involvement in the learning process, as well as the dominance of lecture methods that are less interesting for students' learning interests. This study uses a PTK design that is implemented in four cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 32 students of class IX.1 SMPN 1 Guguak District. The data collected included the results of observations of learning activities and the results of the initial and final assessments. The results showed that the application of the active learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IX.1 students of SMPN 1 Guguak District. In cycle I, the average student score increased compared to the Pre-Cycle, which was around 75% of students achieved minimum completeness. In cycle II, the increase in student learning outcomes was around 81.25%. In cycle III, the increase in student learning outcomes was around 87.5%. In addition, the observation results showed that students were more motivated and actively involved in the learning process using the active learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that the active learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in class IX.1 students at SMPN 1 Guguak District.

Abstract

Talking about educational issues, it cannot be separated from the learning process in the classroom.  Learning Islamic Religious Education is a human effort to understand the universe through precise  observations on targets, using correct procedures, and explaining with valid reasoning so that correct  conclusions are produced. PBL (Problen Based Learning) is a learning model that accommodates student  involvement in learning and authentic problem solving. The application of the PBL learning model in class  V Islamic Religious Education subjects at SDN 04 Muaro Paiti based on the results of research  conducted by researchers using the PBL model can improve student learning outcomes using several steps. In  the PBL model the teacher plays the role of facilitator guiding learning, and students are the main center of  learning. The application of the PBL learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class V Islamic  Religious Education at SDN 04 Muaro Paiti, both cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes.
