Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the service quality dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy on visitor satisfaction at X Teros Tourism in Sapit Village, East Lombok Regency. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 102 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that the proposed model has strong predictive power, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.810. Hypothesis testing reveals that empathy has a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction, with a path coefficient of 0.543 (t = 3.904; p < 0.001), while assurance also has a positive and significant effect, with a coefficient of 0.306 (t = 2.295; p = 0.022). In contrast, the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, and responsiveness do not significantly influence visitor satisfaction. These findings suggest that personal attention, care, trust, and the ability of tourism managers to create a sense of security are the primary determinants of visitor satisfaction in community-based tourism destinations. The study reinforces the applicability of the Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory and the SERVQUAL model in the context of rural tourism while providing practical implications for destination managers to prioritize interpersonal service quality alongside physical facilities. Furthermore, the findings contribute to the development of tourism management literature and provide evidence-based recommendations for improving visitor satisfaction and supporting the sustainable development of community-based tourism destinations.

Abstract

Although the protection of heirs’ ownership rights over land has been widely studied from the perspectives of civil law and Islamic law, research specifically analyzing the judges’ considerations in Jeneponto District Court Decision Number 3/Pdt.G/2026/PN Jnp remains limited. This study aimed to analyze the protection of heirs’ ownership rights over land under civil law and Islamic law and to assess the conformity of the judges’ considerations in the decision. This study employed a qualitative approach with a normative legal research design using statutory, case, and conceptual approaches. Primary legal materials included the Indonesian Civil Code, Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Principles, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and Jeneponto District Court Decision Number 3/Pdt.G/2026/PN Jnp. Secondary legal materials comprised literature, scientific journals, and previous research findings, whereas tertiary legal materials consisted of legal dictionaries and encyclopedias. Legal materials were collected through literature review and documentation and were subsequently analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using legal interpretation techniques. The results showed that the protection of heirs’ ownership rights over land under civil law is based on the recognition of inheritance rights, proof of ownership, and legal certainty regarding land, whereas Islamic law emphasizes the principles of justice, certainty of rights, and the protection of property (ḥifẓ al-māl). The analysis of the decision demonstrated the importance of accurate judicial considerations regarding jurisdiction and proof of ownership rights in resolving inherited land disputes. This study enriches inheritance law scholarship by integrating civil law and Islamic law perspectives and provides practical implications for judges, legal practitioners, and the public in achieving the equitable and legally certain resolution of inherited land disputes.

Abstract

The low level of higher-order thinking skills among elementary school students in mathematics remains a significant concern that demands systematic and in-depth examination. This study aims to: (1) describe the profile of elementary students' thinking abilities based on the Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes (SOLO) taxonomy; (2) identify the dominant SOLO taxonomy level achieved by students in solving mathematical Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) problems; and (3) analyze the factors contributing to differences in students' SOLO taxonomy levels. This study employs a literature review method (library research) with a qualitative content analysis approach applied to ten relevant and verified scientific sources. The findings reveal that the thinking ability profile of elementary school students is predominantly concentrated at the multistructural level, where students can utilize more than one piece of information but are unable to integrate it comprehensively and coherently. Achievement at the relational and extended abstract levels remains considerably limited. Factors influencing these variations include cognitive style, metacognitive ability, prior mathematical knowledge, and instructional methods applied by teachers. This study affirms that the SOLO taxonomy serves as an effective diagnostic instrument for mapping the quality of students' thinking in a hierarchical and comprehensive manner.

Abstract

The younger generation today plays a strategic role in efforts to improve quality in the field of agriculture. Sungai Duren Village is one of the oldest villages in Jambi Province. This village is divided into three hamlets: Tuo Hamlet, Baru Hamlet, and Pasir Raya Hamlet. Looking at the population data, it shows that the farmers in Desa Sungai Duren are predominantly aged between 45-60 years. The potential that can be developed in the village becomes one of the supporting factors for the village innovation program that takes the theme of a young farmer studio with the title "Empowerment of Youth Supporting the Productivity of Horticultural Plants Based on Hydroponics." Therefore, our team has a solution for empowering the youth in Sungai Duren Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, which will focus on increasing the productivity of horticultural plants through hydroponic methods. Hydroponics is a planting technique that does not use soil, but rather uses a nutrient-containing water solution as the growing medium. Therefore, this program aims to involve the younger generation in modern agriculture, enhance skills, and encourage innovation in plant cultivation.

Abstract

Kodingareng Island is an archipelagic area without formal financial institutions, while its residents, particularly fishermen, face unstable income and urgent financial needs. This condition has encouraged informal lending with high interest rates. This study aims to describe the mechanism of moneylending practices on Kodingareng Island and analyze their impacts through the framework of Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah. This qualitative field research used phenomenological and economic-sociological approaches. Data were obtained from 15 purposively selected informants through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, and validated through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that moneylending operates with interest rates of approximately 20–30 percent per month, accompanied by direct collection and additional charges for late payments. Residents continue to use these services because of limited financing alternatives and urgent needs. From the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah, the practice generates mafsadah at the levels of daruriyyat, hajiyyat, and tahsiniyyat, affecting religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth, as well as livelihood and community economic resilience. The study concludes that moneylending is inconsistent with the objectives of Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah and requires fairer financing alternatives through strengthened Islamic financial inclusion.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology in the field of education has encouraged the adoption of various innovative learning media capable of providing more interactive and engaging learning experiences while bringing students closer to real-life situations. One of the technologies with significant potential to support the learning process is Virtual Reality (VR), which enables students to gain learning experiences through immersive simulations of virtual environments. This study aims to analyze students’ responses to the use of Virtual Reality media and to examine the effectiveness of its implementation in creating a realistic learning environment in the Agricultural Product Processing subject for Grade XI students of the Agribusiness of Agricultural Product Processing (APHP) program at SMKN 3 Takalar. This research employed an experimental method conducted at SMKN 3 Takalar. The population consisted of all students enrolled in the Agribusiness of Agricultural Product Processing (APHP) program, while the research sample included 22 Grade XI APHP students who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data collection was conducted by administering closed-ended questionnaires using a Likert scale to students in both research groups. The findings revealed that the implementation of Virtual Reality media was more effective than expository learning in supporting the creation of a realistic learning environment. This was demonstrated by the questionnaire results, in which the experimental group achieved percentages ranging from 59% to 82%, while the control group obtained assessment percentages ranging from 50% to 73%. Based on these findings, the use of Virtual Reality had a positive impact, both in terms of its utilization as a learning medium and its ability to create a more realistic learning environment. Nevertheless, further development and refinement are still necessary to ensure that the application of Virtual Reality technology in the learning process can be utilized more effectively and adapted to the characteristics and needs of students.
