Abstract

Investigating the use of interactive multimedia with Macromedia Flash 8 in scientific education for fifth-grade elementary school students was the aim of this project. Quantitative and experimental methods were employed. The initial identification's findings demonstrated that students' low learning outcomes were caused by a lack of motivation, limited learning times, and the use of dull media. The researcher proposed Macromedia Flash 8 as an interactive learning tool to address this issue. All fifth-grade students from Gugus III Palembayan participated in this survey. A straightforward random sample method was applied for this investigation. The grade V experimental class was SDN 01 Pasar Palembayan, while the control group was SDN 18 Koto Tinggi. According to the data, the control group averaged 71.58 on the posttest, but the experimental group had a higher average of 81.18. Following the hypothesis's testing, the data analysis revealed a substantial Macromedia Flash 8 compared to those who used traditional media. Ha is acceptable since the p value (Sig) <0.05 was found to be 0.013. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki penggunaan multimedia interaktif dengan Macromedia Flash 8 dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk siswa di kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimental. Hasil identifikasi awal menunjukkan bahwa waktu pembelajaran yang singkat, penggunaan media yang tidak menarik, dan kurangnya motivasi belajar adalah penyebab hasil belajar yang buruk siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menawarkan Macromedia Flash 8 sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua siswa kelas V dari Gugus III Kecamatan Palembayan. Untuk penelitian ini, teknik simple random sampling digunakan. SDN 01 Pasar Palembayan adalah kelas eksperimen kelas V dan SDN 18 Koto Tinggi adalah kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata posttest yang lebih tinggi, yaitu 81,18, sementara kelas kontrol memiliki rata-rata sebesar 71.58. Setelah pengujian hipotesis, hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan setelah menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 dibuktikan dengan nilai p (Sig) < 0,05 diperoleh 0,013 yang berarti Ha diterima. Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of using Kahoot-based learning media on student motivation in the subjects of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employs a quantitative method with an experimental approach, where the researcher applies different treatments between the experimental group using Kahoot and the control group using traditional teaching methods. The sample consists of 20 students randomly selected using the Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through pretests and posttests to assess the change in student motivation after participating in the learning process with Kahoot media. The results showed an average posttest score of 78.4 for the experimental group, while the control group had an average score of 74.4. Hypothesis testing using the t-test revealed a significant difference between the two groups, indicating that the use of Kahoot in the learning process can enhance student motivation. Based on the findings, it is concluded that Kahoot-based learning media is effective in increasing student motivation and can be used in elementary school education to create a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen, di mana peneliti memberikan perlakuan berbeda antara kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan Kahoot dan kelompok kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran tradisional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa yang dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Data diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest untuk menilai perubahan motivasi belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan media Kahoot. Hasil penelitian membuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen sebesar 78,4 sedangkan pada kelomok kontrol sebesar 74,4. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok, yang mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan Kahoot dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Kahoot efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media using puzzles as a tool to improve learning outcomes of students in grade IV of elementary school. Puzzles were chosen because they can facilitate fun and interactive learning, thus encouraging active participation of students in the learning process. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the study consisted of grade IV elementary school students who were participants in the trial of puzzle-based learning media products. The results of the study showed that the use of puzzles as a learning medium can improve students' understanding of the subject matter, increase learning motivation, and create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere. Thus, the use of puzzles in learning can be an effective alternative to improve learning outcomes of students in grade IV of elementary school. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan puzzle sebagai alat bantu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Puzzle dipilih karena dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, sehingga mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar yang menjadi partisipan dalam uji coba produk media pembelajaran berbasis puzzle. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan puzzle sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, penggunaan puzzle dalam pembelajaran dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of STEM-based science learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in improving 21st century skills in grade V students at SD Negeri 32 Muaro Putuih. In the era of society 5.0, education is required to prepare students with critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration (4C) skills to be ready to face global challenges. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving experimental and control groups. The experimental group received STEM-based science learning, while the control group received conventional learning methods. The research instrument was a 21st century skills test that had been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis was conducted using t-test and effect size calculation using Cohen's d. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an increase in 21st century skills. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in all aspects of 4C skills, with an average effect size of 2.12, which is in the high category. This finding shows that STEM-based learning is effective in developing 21st century skills, making it suitable to be applied in an effort to prepare students for the era of society 5.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran IPA berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 32 Muaro Putuih. Di era society 5.0, pendidikan dituntut untuk mempersiapkan siswa dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi (4C) agar siap menghadapi tantangan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental yang melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran IPA berbasis STEM, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan abad 21 yang telah divalidasi dan diuji reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t dan perhitungan effect size menggunakan Cohen's d. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada semua aspek keterampilan 4C, dengan nilai rata-rata effect size sebesar 2.12, yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis STEM efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21, sehingga cocok diterapkan dalam upaya mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi era society 5.0.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of the cultural anthropology perspective in the development of multicultural counseling models to address social adjustment issues in adolescents. Through literature studies, the article analyzes the integration of cultural anthropology in counseling, the effectiveness of multicultural approaches, and the challenges and opportunities that exist. The research results show that a deep understanding of culture is crucial in creating relevant and effective counseling interventions for adolescents from diverse backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aimed to address the issue of math anxiety, a common obstacle affecting students' emotional well-being and academic performance in mathematics. Math anxiety includes feelings of fear, discomfort, and avoidance related to math tasks, and is often categorized as test anxiety, number anxiety, and abstract anxiety. This research explores the effectiveness of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), an alternative treatment method combining psychological and physical approaches, in reducing math anxiety. This study employed a quantitative research design that involved participants experiencing math anxiety. EFT sessions were conducted by guiding participants to tap specific meridian acupuncture points (e.g., the head, eyebrows, temples, and chin) while affirming their emotional concerns about math. Pre- and post-intervention anxiety levels were measured using a validated Math Anxiety Scale. The results revealed a significant reduction in participants’ math anxiety levels after undergoing EFT sessions. Additionally, anxiety-reducing effects were sustained over time, indicating EFT's potential of EFT as a practical tool for managing emotional barriers to learning. This research highlights EFT as an accessible and effective method to support students struggling with math anxiety, contributing to improved emotion regulation and academic success in mathematics.

Abstract

Abstract Community empowerment in the partner area has not reached its optimal potential, which has an impact on their low income. On the other hand, the sure salaka silk group, which is engaged in the production of silk fabrics, has a great opportunity to advance the local economy. The availability of raw materials and adequate resources make this business very potential. The existing problems include low motivation and skills of business actors, low production quality and quantity, lack of product standardisation, lack of knowledge in financial management, and not utilising information technology and e-commerce. The proposed solutions include increasing the motivation and skills of business actors, training on product management and implementation of good production practices, training on financial management, marketing strategies with information technology and e-commerce, and socialisation. Workshops were also conducted to improve motivation and human resource capabilities, entrepreneurial managerial skills, product development, as well as assistance in the use of information technology for marketing through website-based e-commerce, and evaluation of partner business management. The results of this activity show that the training has met expectations. The high participation of partners has a positive impact on the programme, with increased partner motivation in the role of implementing activities, increased knowledge of financial management, and the creation of a website-based e-commerce application that is currently used by partners is expected to increase production. Keywords: empowerment; umkm; e-commerce Abstrak Pemberdayaan masyarakat di wilayah mitra belum mencapai potensi optimal, yang berdampak pada rendahnya pendapatan mereka. Disisi lain kelompok sutera sure salaka yang bergerak di bidang produksi kain sutera memiliki peluang besar untuk memajukan ekonomi lokal. Ketersediaan bahan baku dan sumber daya yang memadai menjadikan usaha ini sangat potensial. Masalah yang ada meliputi rendahnya motivasi dan keterampilan pelaku usaha, rendahnya kualitas dan kuantitas produksi, kurangnya standarisasi produk, kekurangan pengetahuan dalam manajemen keuangan, serta belum memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan e-commerce. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan motivasi dan keterampilan pelaku usaha, pelatihan manajemen produk dan penerapan praktik produksi yang baik, pelatihan manajemen keuangan, strategi pemasaran dengan teknologi informasi dan e-commerce, serta sosialisasi. Workshop juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan SDM, keterampilan manajerial kewirausahaan, pengembangan produk, serta pendampingan dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk pemasaran melalui e-commerce berbasis website, dan evaluasi manajemen usaha mitra. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan telah memenuhi ekspektasi. Tingginya partisipasi mitra berdampak positif pada program, dengan peningkatnya motvasi mitra dalam peran pada pelaksanaan kegiatan, meningkatnya pengetahuan pengelolaan keuangan, dan terciptanya aplikasi e-commerce berbasis website milik mitra yang saat ini dimanfaatkan mitra diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi. Abstract

Pemberdayaan ekonomi pesantren perlu mendapat perhatian untuk membantu mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dalam rangka membantu biaya operasional pesantren. Dengan adanya usaha-usaha produktif yang dikembangkan oleh pesantren maka akan membantu dalam meningkatan kesejahteraan pengelola. Penelitian pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian pesantren sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru-guru dan pembina pesantren. Jenis penelitian dan pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research. Participatory Action Research adalah metode riset yang dilaksanakan secara partisipatif di antara warga suatu komunitas dalam rangka mendorong terjadinya aksi-aksi transformatif sehingga terjadi perubahan kondisi yang lebih baik. Melalui model ini, program pemberdayaan Pondok Pesantren melalui usaha produktif dengan memanfatkan potensi lembaga melibatkan Organ Yayasan, yang terdiri dari: Pembina, Pengurus, dan Pengawas, serta Pimpinan Pesantren dan Pembina santri. Hasil penelitian pengabdiaan ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Lembaga Pendidikan Pesantren Perguruan Islam Ganra memiliki potensi, yaitu: (a) Sumber Daya Manusia yang terdiri dari siswa/santri, guru/pembina, dan tenaga teknis yang berjumlah 797 orang; (b) Sumber Daya Alam berupa lahan untuk peternakan, perikanan, dan kolam ikan tawar, serta lahan untuk pengembangan usaha toko. (2) Usaha produktif yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian dan pengabdian ini, berupa: (a) Usaha Peternakan ayam kampung atau bukan ras, budidaya ikan tawar, berupa ikan emas, dan ikan nila (monoseks/jantan), serta usaha pertokoan yang dapat menyediakan bahan-bahan kebutuhan siswa/santi, dan guru/pembina; (3) Adapun peran lembaga atau yayasan dalam mengembangkan usaha produktif, yaitu: penyediaan lahan, sumberdaya pengelola usaha, melakukan pendidikan dan pelatihan, membentuk unit usaha produktif, menetapkan sistem penggajian/pengupahan dan pembagian hasil usaha.

Abstract

This research uses a literature study method or Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which examines the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools. This research aims to provide information related to the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools to support the learning process in the classroom. The method used is literature study where the data is data from various sources, such as journals, books, scientific papers and other libraries. This collection of data is analyzed one by one to be grouped and combined into a complete conclusion. The results of the research show that the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools really supports the learning process, seen from increased understanding of the material and learning outcomes, students who become more active and enthusiastic and are also very enthusiastic about learning, because of the appearance in the product The Nearpod application is interesting and also equipped with audio, video, animation, games and quizzes.

Abstract

Interactive learning media can be a solution for students in learning. According to Sumiharsono (2017: 57) the use of media as a means of conveying information, both audio, visual and audio-visual so that it can stimulate thinking and learning findings for students, therefore the use of technology as audio, visual, and audio-visual learning media can be a solution for information delivery in the field of Education. During the trial process, the researcher wrote down important things about what obstacles occurred when implementing book makers in class V at SDN Pertryan Padang. After applying it, students are then given a test to find out the level of understanding of the material from the author of this book. To find out the level of student understanding, the researchers asked questions to students and the authors designed and made questionnaires for students who still did not understand the material that had been delivered through the book creator. The use of book creators in Pancasila Education subjects at SDN Percobaan Padang can be optimally utilized. This is because the school has facilities that are quite supportive in the operation of this book-making media, such as the availability of projectors, laptops and speakers in the school. This book-making media can be used in online learning, making it easier for teachers to convey learning and students understand what the teacher explains.
