Abstract

This study aims to determine, describe, and analyze the development of the Barongan work of the Turonggo Laras group in Kendal Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a musicological approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of working on Barongan Turonggo Laras music was in the form of adding western musical instruments, such as drums and keyboards in collaboration with gamelan. The use of the keyboard is intended as a filler for the main melody in campursari songs. This is because there are tones in the campursari song that does not exist on the gamelan instrument but exist on the keyboard. The addition of drums in the show is intended to lift the mood and strengthen the trance scene. The drum play tends to follow the dynamics of the kendang when accompanying the performance.

Abstract

Background: Older adults are susceptible to worsened quality of life (QOL) and depression due to aging. Elderly integrated health service post (EIHSP) is community-based health care that aims to improve older adults’ health; however, not all older adults participate in this health service.Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the relationship between the QOL, depression level, and older adults’ participation in EIHSP.Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out among 102 older adults in a community-dwelling area in Semarang, Indonesia. Respondents were recruited using a total sampling technique. QOL was assessed by the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, while the level of depression was assessed by Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, Spearman, and Sommers’ d tests were used to analyze the data. Results: Higher participation in EIHSP significantly affected QOL on every domain (general quality of life, physical, psychological, social relationship, and environmental domains) with p<0.05. This study also showed that participation in EIHSP had a significant relationship with depression levels (p=0.002). Furthermore, higher depression levels significantly affected QOL on every domain (p<0.05).Conclusion: This study showed that older adults’ participation in EIHSP had a significant relationship with QOL and depression. Community nurses can promote the utilization of EIHSP among older adults for better physical and mental health. Future studies should investigate these relationships in a larger sample size.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance in sharia banking in Indonesia and analyze the effect of the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation and bank complexity on the frequency of fraud in sharia banking in Indonesia from 2011 through 2020. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all Indonesian sharia commercial banks based on banking statistics issued by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in December 2020, which were 14 sharia commercial banking, then selected by the purposive sampling method using sharia commercial banking criteria that reported a complete self-assessment report during 2011 – 2020, which is as many as 10 sharia commercial banking. The type of data used is secondary data whose data collection is carried out by online data search methods through website searches. The data analysis method used panel data regression. The results of the study showed that the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation at sharia commercial banking during 2011 - 2020 on average had a "good" predicate, minimum value (best implementation quality "very good", and maximum value (lowest implementation quality " good enough". The implementation of Islamic Corporate Governance in sharia commercial banking BUKU III is better than sharia commercial banking BUKU II and BUKU I. The results also show that the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation has a significant effect on fraud with an estimated coefficient of 1.3251, meaning that if the composite ICG value increases (the quality of ICG implementation decreases) by 1 unit, then fraud will increase by 1.3251 units. Then, the complexity has no effect on the frequency of fraud with a probability value of 0.1651 > 0.05 (α=5%), meaning that the complexity of banks is reflected in the category of BUKU 1 banks has the same level of fraud as BUKU II and III banks.

Abstract

Inorganic glass waste can replace sand in mortar production due to its SiO2 content being greater than 70%. This study aims to analyze the increase in mortal product agility due to the substitution of sand and reducing environmental pollution. The fine glass waste used is restrained on 80 and 120 mesh sieves. The fine glass waste substitution variations are 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50% of the sand weight. The results show that fine glass waste could be used as a material for sand substitution because of the content of SiO2 of 73.8%. The results from XRD indicate that the phase of fine waste glass is amorphous. The mortar was printed with a 5x5x5 cm cube mold, and it was soaked for 7, 14, and 21 days. Based on the results, the compressive strength with a high value of 13.58 MPa at 20% fine glass waste substitution and 120 mesh. The density of 2.8±0.8 g/cm3, porosity 4.40±0.001%, and absorption 2.83±0,0009%. The compressive strengths, density, porosity, absorption, XRF and XRD characterization were evaluated. The results showed that the SiO2 compound in waste glass with the right composition of 20% could significantly increase the compressive strength. Phase formation of Calcite (CaCO3), Quartz (SiO2), and Portlandite (Ca(OH)2) was formed from the results of XRF characterization
