This article aims to explore and analyze the philosophical dimensions within the classical novel Hayy ibn Yaqzan by Ibn Tufail through the lens of literary philosophy. The objective is to analyze how philosophical themes such as the nature of life, self-awareness, human uniqueness, and the search for truth are embedded within a literary narrative. Using a philosophical-literary method, this research interprets the symbolic and imaginative elements in the novel by applying both philosophical inquiry and literary analysis. The method involves examining the character development, internal conflicts, and narrative structure of the protagonist, Hayy, in relation to broader philosophical questions. The results reveal that Hayy ibn Yaqzan is not merely a work of fiction but a narrative deeply infused with philosophical reflection. The novel presents a rich exploration of human consciousness, ethical reasoning, and metaphysical inquiry through allegorical storytelling. Furthermore, the analysis indicates that philosophical literature can serve as a powerful tool to bridge imaginative fiction with rational thought, demonstrating that literary works can embody both artistic expression and intellectual depth

This study examines the consistency of legal norms governing Islamic arbitration institutions in Indonesia, focusing on the National Sharia Arbitration Board (BASYARNAS) within the framework of Law No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. It aims to evaluate the extent to which BASYARNAS aligns with national legal principles and international standards in resolving business disputes. Using a normative juridical method and qualitative analysis of primary and secondary legal materials. The study identifies a significant gap between regulatory norms and practical implementation. This inconsistency undermines BASYARNAS’s effectiveness, particularly in resolving investment-related disputes from the perspective of foreign investors. The findings reveal weak integration of Islamic arbitration mechanisms into Indonesia’s broader legal system. Moreover, limited international recognition and misalignment with global procedural standards reduce investor confidence. The study concludes that regulatory harmonization, institutional reform, and enhanced global acknowledgment are necessary to strengthen BASYARNAS as a credible and competitive dispute resolution forum in the international investment arena.

The performance of police personnel serves as a key indicator in determining the effectiveness of law enforcement organizations in carrying out their duties and functions. The complex and high-pressure nature of police work poses significant challenges that may affect the stability and productivity of personnel performance. High workload and psychological pressure resulting from job stress can have both direct and indirect impacts on performance. Work motivation plays a strategic role as a mediating variable that can either strengthen or weaken the influence of these determinants on performance. The research problem addressed in this study is: how do workload and job stress affect the performance of personnel at the Lampung Regional Police (Polda Lampung), both directly and indirectly through work motivation as an intervening variable? This study employs a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results reveal that workload has a significant positive effect on personnel performance, while job stress does not. Additionally, personnel performance does not have a significant positive effect on work motivation. Moreover, workload and job stress do not significantly influence personnel performance through work motivation. Keywords: Workload Determinants, Job Stress, Personnel Performance, Work Motivation

The increasingly worrying ecological crisis demands a re-reflection of spiritual values and environmental ethics in Islam. The Qur'an teaches the principle of balance (mizan) and man's responsibility as a caliph in managing nature. This study seeks to analyze the concept of ecological kufr in the Qur'an through the study of several verses that mention environmental damage (fasad fi al-ard) and denial of Allah's favor. The analysis was carried out by examining the meaning of the verse contextually and intertextually through an approach of interpretation and ecotheological reflection. The study results show that destructive behavior towards nature is a tangible form of theological denial, which brings moral and spiritual consequences to human life. This research confirms the importance of revitalizing revelation-based environmental ethics to answer modern ecological challenges. Thus, the Qur'an can be a normative foundation for building environmental awareness and sustainable conservation strategies.

This study investigates the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on the performance of employees in the Medicine and Health Sector (Biddokkes) of the Lampung Police, as well as evaluating the role of work motivation as a moderation variable. The background of the problem includes the implementation of 3S (Smile, Greeting, Greeting) which is not yet uniform, low time discipline, and uneven awarding which has the potential to reduce work morale. The quantitative method was used with purposive sampling of 84 respondents; data were collected through the Likert questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS. The results showed that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while organizational culture did not have a significant influence on performance in this context; Work motivation also did not moderate the relationship between culture/discipline and performance significantly. These findings indicate that interventions that focus on discipline enforcement and improvement of reward mechanisms are more urgent to improve performance than efforts to build an organizational culture that has not been internalized. The findings were compared with a local study by IIB Darmajaya that emphasized the role of leadership, rewards, and training in strengthening organizational culture. Practical implications include consistent enforcement of disciplinary rules, standardization of fair and transparent reward mechanisms, internal training for the internalization of 3S values, and periodic performance monitoring with a measurable dashboard. Recommendations for further research include longitudinal studies and award policy experiments. Follow-up studies are suggested involving multi-unit work for stronger generalizations Keywords: organizational culture; work discipline; work motivation; employee performance.
