This reserch aims to examine the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in the teaching process of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class X at MA Unggulan KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah during the 2024/2025 academic year. The main focus of this study is to address several key questions: (1) How does the use of audio-visual media enhace the effectiveness of SKI learning? (2) What challenges are encountered in using this media? (3) What solutions can be implemented to overcome these challenges? The fundings of this reserch are expected to contribute to improving the quality of SKI education through the use of more effective and efficient media. The descriptive qualitative method was selected for this study as it is considered effective in exploring problems in depth and providing a detailed explanation of events, from identifying challenges to formulating solutions. The research findings indicate that the use of audio-visual media is highly effective in supporting the teaching of Islamic Cultural History. Material tests conducted during the study showed satisfactory average scores. Furthermore, interview data collected to strengthen the findings revealed that audio-visual media successfully captured students' attention and helped them better understand the learning material. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of audio-visual media in the teaching of Islamic Cultural History for Grade X students has proven to be efficient, both in increasing students' learning interest and enhancing their comprehension of the subject matter
