Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the application of Radical Marketing strategies to Customer Behaviour Intention in increasing sales of Batik Jati Asih products of the UMKM unit of Bumdes Kujati Perdana in Karangjati Village Pandaan Pasuruan. Radical Marketing is an unusual marketing strategy used in influencing Customer Behaviour Intention to increase sales of Batik Jati Asih. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach whose research data is obtained using techniques through interviews. The sample in this study were 10 Subject Informants consisting of the chairman of Batik Jati Asih, 4 Batik Craftsmen and 5 Jati Asih batik consumers who were selected using purposive sampling method. From the results of the Interview that the Batik Jati Asih Party can be obtained the results of the research that Batik Jati asih has implemented a Radical Marketing Strategy in influencing Customer Behaviour Intention which makes consumer perceptions can be fulfilled in their perceptions so as to cause purchases and repurchases. This is a positive impact in increasing sales of Batik Jati Asih products. So the Radical Marketing Strategy affects Customer Behaviour Intention in increasing sales of Jati Asih batik products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the competitive strategy analysis of PT. Behaestex and recommends a competitive strategy analysis of PT. Behaestex that must be developed in order to increase business competitiveness. Data collection uses document analysis to understand holistically about the unique phenomena in the research object of PT. Behaestex. The analysis method used is qualitative descriptive case study. SWOT analysis shows that the company needs to increase the strengths of the company to be known by consumers and be able to compete with similar companies, especially globally or internationally. Strategies that can be concluded from the SWOT matrix include: SO strategy, namely using the company's strengths in the field of production to control international market share, WO strategy, namely forming a marketing team to expand international marketing reach, ST strategy, namely by diversifying products according to international consumer demand, and WT strategy, namely introducing products to all employees and maximizing production effectiveness.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, MSMEs in the processed food sector have a great opportunity to penetrate the export market through the use of innovation and competitive advantage. One concrete example is CV. Indigo Sejahtera in Sidoarjo, a producer of processed egg noodles that has successfully entered international markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia. This phenomenon shows the great potential of local MSMEs to compete in the global market. However, there is still a research gap related to operational strategies that MSMEs actually apply in achieving sustainable export competitiveness. The novelty of this research is in the form of an in-depth exploration of the integration of innovation processes and competitive advantages in supporting the success of MSME exports based on processed foods. The urgency is based on the strategic role of MSMEs in encouraging inclusive economic growth and industrial sustainability in accordance with the SDGs agenda. Qualitative research method phenomenological approach, this research was carried out in CV. Indigo Sejahtera, with one main informant of the owner and two informants supporting employees. The results of the study show that the strategies implemented include product innovation through a variety of flavors ranging from spicy, original, spices, attractive and socially proofable packaging innovations for social media, as well as active digital marketing through live TikTok, Shopee, and Instagram twice a day in the afternoon and evening, as well as the management of the official website. Competitive advantages are obtained from affordable prices, distinctive tastes, and unique packaging, as well as collaborations with local food influencers as endorsements. This strategy has proven effective in increasing global competitiveness. The implications of this study lead to the real contribution of MSMEs to the achievement of the SDGs, especially the goals of 8 decent work and economic growth and the goals of 9 industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of perceived value and perceived ease of use on Generation Z's intention to participate in NFT-based loyalty programs. Perceived value is measured through three key dimensions: functional value, symbolic value, and hedonic value, while perceived ease of use is tested as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach using PLS-SEM analysis was applied, with a saturated sample of 50 Gen Z respondents. The results show that perceived value has a significant positive effect on the intention to join NFT-based loyalty programs, while perceived ease of use does not significantly moderate this relationship. These findings suggest that businesses should focus more on delivering strong perceived value when designing NFT loyalty strategies, particularly in appealing to the preferences and digital experiences of Gen Z consumers.

Abstract

This study explores how consumers develop trust in two digital sources—food vloggers and electronic word-of-mouth (e-WoM)—when choosing restaurants. Using a descriptive qualitative method, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18–35-year-old Malang residents who frequently dine out and use social media. Findings reveal that food vloggers effectively raise initial awareness through emotional storytelling and visuals; however, perceived endorsements limit their credibility. In contrast, e-WoM is seen as more trustworthy due to its basis in authentic, user-generated experiences. Trust is shaped by prior experience, the completeness of information, source independence, and review consistency. Consumers apply both emotional and rational evaluations and often cross-check information before making decisions. These insights support classical consumer behavior theories and offer practical guidance for culinary marketers to effectively integrate authentic user reviews with influencer strategies, thereby building sustainable digital trust.

Abstract

The tourism industry is growing rapidly along with the increasing public interest in travel. Travel agencies (BPW) play a strategic role in providing quality services for tourists. Selangkah Trip, one of the BPWs in Malang City, faces fierce competition so it requires the right marketing strategy to remain competitive. This study aims to analyze the application of Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning (STP) and Product Life Cycle (PLC) strategies in improving Selangkah Trip's competitiveness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study at the segmentation stage, the company focuses the market on schools and corporations, by customizing services for each segment, such as economical tour packages for schools and exclusive services for corporations. In the targeting stage, the company selects segments with stable and sustainable demand, with a direct and digital approach to expand market reach. In positioning, Selangkah Trip emphasizes competitive service quality, affordable prices, and unique experiences, such as the concept of camping in Bromo, to strengthen its image as a trusted travel service provider. This research also identifies the implementation of strategies at PLC, where at the introduction stage, the company focuses on introducing services through strategic partnerships and digital marketing. At the growth stage, demand increases through new service innovations, while at the maturity stage, the company strengthens its position with competitive prices and high-quality services. In the decline stage, the company adapts by offering flexible packages and expanding the market for individual travelers to maintain operational sustainability amid economic challenges.

Abstract

To be able to survive the global economic, every business organization is forced to continue to innovate and small and medium industry (SMEs) are deemed capable of winning the competition in the industry. SMEs have the freedom to move and innovate because they are still small in scope, so innovation are needed in order to have a competitive advantage. This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of strategic innovation on employee performance by analysing its influence on work satisfaction. The research sample consists of 120 employees from the small and medium shoe business in East Java. The cluster random sampling approach was used to choose the participants. The data analysis model employs the PLS (Partial Least Squares regression) analysis approach with the Smart PLS version 3.0 software. The findings of hypothesis testing indicate that there is no significant direct impact of strategic innovation on employee performance. Employee performance is directly influenced by job happiness. However, strategic innovation has an indirect impact on employee performance by influencing work happiness. This suggests that work happiness might establish a link between the impact of strategic innovation and employee performance.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of local culture on the internationalization process of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially statue craftsmen in Trowulan, East Java. MSMEs in Indonesia face various challenges, including low productivity and access to technology. However, statue craftsmen in Trowulan are able to utilize the richness of Majapahit culture to differentiate their products in the global market. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and participant observation, this study found that local culture not only plays a role as a product identity, but also as a strategy to attract international consumers. Adaptation to the needs of the global market, especially in Europe, shows the ability of craftsmen to innovate and collaborate. This study provides important insights into how the integration of local culture can improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in the era of globalization, and offers recommendations to support the development of MSMEs through cultural preservation and skills improvement. The results can be used as a reference for local economic policies and the promotion of Indonesian cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan antara dua toko kosmetik terkenal yaitu Sociolla dan Guardian yang berlokasi di Lippo Plaza Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini ada penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara secara mendalam dengan pelanggan serta observasi secara langsung di Lippo Plaza Sidoarjo. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa kualitas pelayanan sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Dua faktor utama yang paling memengaruhi adalah keandalan dan responsivitas. Keandalan berkaitan dengan sejauh mana layanan diberikan secara konsisten dan tepat waktu, sementara responsivitas mencerminkan seberapa cepat dan sigap penyedia layanan dalam membantu pelanggan. Selain itu, empati dan jaminan juga berperan dalam membangun kepercayaan pelanggan, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak sebesar dua faktor utama tadi.

Abstract

MSMEs face complex challenges in building brand equity and customer loyalty in the digital era, where global competition and dynamic consumer preferences require innovative marketing strategies (Lasrado et al., 2022). This research aims to analyse the role of experiential marketing in improving brand equity and customer loyalty of MSMEs in international markets, with case studies on the creative sector (fashion/culinary) in three regions: ASEAN, Middle East, and Europe. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data was collected from 400 active customers through a structured questionnaire and analysed with SEM-AMOS. Results show experiential marketing has a significant effect on brand equity. Practical implications include data analytics-based budget allocation recommendations and cultural adaptation in marketing strategies. The findings contribute to the global MSME digital marketing literature and offer operational guidance for businesses.
