This study examines the legal uncertainty related to the implementation of restitution as a form of legal protection for child victims of sexual violence. The issues raised include unclear regulations, complicated administrative procedures, and lack of support from law enforcement officers in the process of submitting and fulfilling restitution. These conditions often prevent victims from obtaining compensation that is their right according to court decisions that have permanent legal force. This study aims to analyze the legal uncertainty related to the implementation of restitution for child victims of sexual violence in Indonesia, identify obstacles in its implementation, and provide recommendations for improving the existing legal system to create better legal certainty. This study uses a normative legal method with a statute approach and a case approach. The results of the study indicate that legal uncertainty regarding restitution for child victims of sexual violence is caused by ambiguous regulations, inconsistencies between applicable regulations, and complicated administrative procedures. Support from law enforcement officers, especially public prosecutors, is often less than optimal in facilitating restitution applications by victims. In addition, limited socialization regarding victim rights exacerbates uncertainty in the implementation of the law. This study provides theoretical and practical implications in the development of criminal law and child protection. Theoretically, this study enriches the criminal law literature related to victims' rights and the implementation of restitution. Practically, the results of this study can be a reference for policy makers in formulating clearer and more implementable regulations. The proposed recommendations include simplifying administrative procedures, strengthening the role of prosecutors, and increasing the socialization of victims' rights to create a more responsive and equitable legal system.

In a couple of years, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) previous works reported various informal digital learning of English (IDLE) activities within and around video games that could enhance student-gamer vocabulary outcomes; receptive and productive language skills; and language socialization. The lack of multidisciplinary literature reviews between IDLE and language policy (LP) gives this study to open discussion on both areas. The urgency of this study is the high adoption of IDLE framework without considering LP where the reason for student’s engagement from MMORPG activities can be explained. This study aims to portray IDLE practitioner's activities in MMORPG from language management, beliefs, and practices. Following the long-term process, the data were generated from auto-ethnography and photo-elicitation that were taken from in-game and out-of-game activities. This article found three major findings. First, the management of MMORPG provoked gamers to communicate as a part of the game mission, and the guild could potentially develop top-down and bottom-up LP. Second, the value of language in the community played role in the decision-making language use from the negotiation process. Third, English and Mandarin dominated language practices from different interlocutors in various forms such as language in MMORPG’s context, code mixing, and abbreviation from multilingual sides giving various reading texts in contexts. The high status of English is still dominated by out-of-game language practices. There are two major implications in theory and praxis that would be discussed in this study. Keywords: Auto-ethnography, IDLE, language policy, MMORPG, and multilingual environment

This study aims to determine the effect of Work life Balance, Flexible Time Arrangement and Life Satisfaction of Indonesian Ombudsman employees. The research population used was the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, while the sample used amounted to 102 employees. The sampling technique uses random sampling in employees both at the Indonesian Ombudsman who are at the center and at the representative. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study show that flexibility work arrangement has a positive effect on Life satisfaction, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and positive path coefficient of 0.503 meaning that the higher the flexibility work arrangement, the higher Life satisfaction. Flexibility work arrangement has a positive effect on work life balance, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and positive path coefficient of 0.576 meaning that the higher the flexibility of work arrangement, the higher the work life balance. Work-life balance has a positive effect on Life satisfaction, shown by p value 0.000 < 0.05 and a positive path coefficient of 0.527 meaning that the higher the work life balance, the higher the Life satisfaction. In this study it can also be concluded that Work life balance can mediate the effect of flexibility work arrangement on Life satisfaction, indicated by p value 0.000 < 0.05, based on the value of R square adjusted variable Life satisfaction of 0.833 this means 83.3% of the variable Life satisfaction is influenced by the variables flexibility work arrangement and work life balance, while the remaining 16.7% variable Life satisfaction is influenced by factors outside the variable flexibility work arrangement and work life balance. Furthermore, the variable work life balance shows an R square adjusted of 0.325, this means that 32.5% of the variability of work life balance is influenced by the variable flexibility work arrangement, while the remaining 67.5% of the variable work life balance is influenced by factors other than the variable flexibility work arrangement.

This research aims to improve students' 21st-century competencies. Differentiated learning with the gallery walk method is expected to provide learning competencies evenly and fairly. The development of Bruce Joyce's learning model, which actualizes individual abilities and differences, is the basis for the study of learning differentiation development in this study. Quasi-experimental quantitative research involves a control class with normal learning and an experimental class with the application of the gallery walk method and differentiated learning. Participants of this study consist of 60 students at Avicenna Jagakarsa High School - South Jakarta, Indonesia. A differentiated learning model using the Gallery walk method was conducted in two classes, then measured its effectiveness. The results of this study found that all students were able to take initiative, be active and build new knowledge and experiences, increase collaboration in learning groups, think openly and accept other people’s thoughts, and foster leadership. In the material aspect, students can analyze learning questions contextually and challenge them according to 21st-century learning competencies. For future researchers to be able to research learning differentiation in other learning materials as well as in different competencies.

Background: The prevalence of overweight among under-five children in Indonesia continues to increase. According to the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), in 2022, overweight among those was 3.5%, up 1.3% from 2017, while in Kebumen, it was 3.3%, up 0.9% from 2017. Overweight children have a risk of gross motor development disorders 12 times greater than normal. Currently, few health programs focus on addressing children's obesity. Objectives: To understand the parenting and eating behaviors of obese under five children, serving as a reference for the obesity prevention programs in the Regency of Kebumen. Methods: This research was a descriptive study using qualitative with an in-depth interview approach. The informants were ten individuals, consisting of parents of obese children and nutritionists or midwives from local health centers. Results: Most parents did not force their children to eat. They rarely promised anything to make the children willing to eat and often allowed them to choose their preferred foods. They provided the opportunity to increase their food portions. The frequency of main meals for children was 2 to 3 times a day, with formula milk consumption exceeding 8 bottles per day. Additionally, there was a tendency to consume high-calorie and sugary snacks. Children under one year had a history of consistently providing commercially produced complementary feeding starting at the age of 6 months. Conclusions: An education program based on parenting of demandingness and responsiveness, and appropriate eating habits, is crucial to reducing the prevalence of overweight children in the Regency of Kebumen.

Coal is a primary energy source in Indonesia, particularly for steam power plants (PLTU). The coal crushing process at PT. XYZ is a critical stage in coal mining operations; however, the company faces operational challenges that hinder the achievement of production targets. This study aims to identify the main issues, analyze factors affecting productivity, and design effective improvement solutions. The methodology used is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). In the Define phase, process mapping and waste identification were conducted. The Measure phase utilized a Pareto diagram to determine key issues. Root cause analysis using the 5 Why's method was performed in the Analyze phase. In the Improve phase, solutions were designed through Future State Mapping, while in the Control phase a Kanban Board for monitoring. The results show that Year-to-Date coal crushing production as of October 2024 reached 9.9 million MT, or 94% of the 10.56 million MT target, representing a 139% increase compared to October 2023, which only reached 7.2 million MT.
