Abstract

Money has an important role in human life, especially in economic activities. The history of money starts from the barter system to the use of gold and silver as a medium of exchange. In the Islamic perspective, money is seen as a medium of exchange and a measure of value, not as a commodity. Islam prohibits practices such as usury, gambling, and speculation that can cause injustice in the distribution of wealth. Islamic principles in terms of money include accountability, justice, simplicity, and the prohibition of the accumulation of wealth. Some people view the Dinar and Dirham currencies are Islamic currencies, so they forbid paper currency or fiat money from being used because the nominal value does not match the intrinsic value, unlike Dinar and Dirham currencies. The method of this research is qualitative research in the form of library research. The result of the discussion of this article is that the dinar and dirham currencies did not originate from Islam but from the Romans and Persians. There are 3 functions of money in Islam, namely: money as a means of unit price, money as a medium of exchange, and Money as a storage medium of value. Thus, the Islamic perspective on money aims to create a fair economic and financial system for all mankind. Keywords: Money; Dinar; Dirham

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the implementation of Islamic studies learning methods at the Islamic High School (STAI) Madrasah Arabiyah (MA) Bayang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The research focus includes three main learning methods applied, namely textual-contextual methods, problem-based learning, and collaborative learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with analytical descriptive methods, with data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews with 5 lecturers and 15 students, as well as documentation studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that the implementation of learning methods at STAI MA Bayang is integrative and adaptive, by combining the three methods according to the characteristics of the course. The textual-contextual method is effective in developing a comprehensive understanding of religious texts, problem-based learning is successful in improving analytical skills in dealing with contemporary issues, and collaborative learning encourages active learning through interaction between students. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and diversity of student backgrounds, institutions have succeeded in overcoming them through various development programs and utilization of learning technology.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pembelajaran studi Islam di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Madrasah Arabiyah (MA) Bayang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Fokus penelitian meliputi tiga metode pembelajaran utama yang diterapkan yaitu metode tekstual-kontekstual, problem-based learning, dan collaborative learning. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan 5 dosen dan 15 mahasiswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode pembelajaran di STAI MA Bayang bersifat integratif dan adaptif, dengan memadukan ketiga metode sesuai karakteristik mata kuliah. Metode tekstual-kontekstual efektif dalam mengembangkan pemahaman komprehensif terhadap teks keagamaan, problem-based learning berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan analitis dalam menghadapi isu kontemporer, dan collaborative learning mendorong pembelajaran aktif melalui interaksi antar mahasiswa. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan keragaman latar belakang mahasiswa, institusi berhasil mengatasinya melalui berbagai program pengembangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Limboto Lake is one of the lakes in Indonesia that has been degraded due to sedimentation and waste disposal, which will affect the lake ecosystem and its surroundings. This research aims to analyze the Magnetic Susceptibility in Vertical Sediments in the fish pond area of ​​Limboto Lake. Efforts must be made to trace sediment's contribution, which is controlled by lithogenic and anthropogenic components. Vertical sediment samples from Fish Ponds in Limboto Lake were taken at one point with a depth of 15 meters using an XY-1A Spindle drilling machine. This type of research uses survey techniques and laboratory tests that use rock magnetism methods, especially susceptibility parameter analysis using the Bartington MS2 susceptibility meter instrument at a low frequency of 470 Hz and a high frequency of 4700 Hz to obtain information on the concentration of magnetic minerals. The sediment samples tested did not go through preparation, such as sieving and drying, but the unsifted samples were put into the plastic holder to analyze the susceptibility magnetic parameter. The measurement results show that the low-frequency magnetic susceptibility (XLF) value ranges from 1.11 x 10-8 m3/kg to 9.68 x 10-8 m3/kg. The concentration of magnetic minerals in this sample contains paramagnetic minerals, and based on the XFD % value, which ranges from 0.206% to 4.714% with an average value of 1.170%, the magnetic minerals in the samples tend to be dominated by coarse-grained non-superparamagnetic minerals (>0.03 µm) and tend to occupy stable single-domain (SSD) and multi-domain (MD) domains. Magnetic susceptibility parameters tested using sediment samples without going through a sieving process can be used to determine sediment characteristics in lake areas that tend to be controlled by anthropogenic components.

Abstract

Sugarcane bagasse is waste from the sugar industry which has the potential to be an efficient fuel for producing electricity by converting heat energy into electrical energy using a Thermoelectric Generator (TEG). TEG can be optimized to burn sugarcane bagasse as an alternative energy source in Indonesia. This research uses series and parallel configurations to test the optimal TEG configuration to increase energy conversion efficiency. The research results revealed that supercapacitors' parallel configuration produced the highest power in the 66th minute at 0.26 W. In comparison, the series configuration with supercapacitors produced 0.21 W of power in the 63rd minute. For the parallel configuration without supercapacitors, the energy produced reaches 0.20 W in the 69th minute, and the series configuration without supercapacitors produces 0.19 W in the 63rd minute. The parallel configuration shows more optimal performance than the series configuration, making it a promising solution in diversifying energy sources, especially in supporting efforts to utilize agricultural waste sustainably. Optimization of the thermoelectric generator configuration for burning sugarcane bagasse can be used as an alternative energy source.

Abstract

Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) is an energy conversion device used as an electricity generator to create hot electric currents through temperature differences. This research aims to determine the effect of time on temperature differences from burning rice husks (Oryza sativa L.) in series and parallel configurations. This research method was carried out experimentally by burning rice husk biomass in a kiln and utilizing the heat of the fire to convert it into electrical energy. The TEG total of 48 TEG pieces which produce the highest current in the series configuration produces the highest with respective values ​​of current 0.09 A and voltage 1.02 V, and the parallel configuration TEG produces the highest with respective values ​​of current 0.98 A and voltage 0.25 V. The highest temperature difference reaches 30.5°C in the series configuration and 31.8°C in the parallel configuration. The longer the burning time, the more significant the resulting temperature difference. Likewise, the greater the electric current and voltage, the longer the burning time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model RADEC dalam peningkatan higher order thinking skills siswa pada pembelajaran tematik UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif desain eksperimen rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan higher order thinking skills siswa pada pembelajaran tematik, hal tersebut didukung nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen jauh lebih meningkat dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Hal lain yang mendukung yaitu, pada pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan output uji hipotesis pada sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Pengujian N-Gain menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain score pada kelas eksperimen adalah 61,8948 atau 61.9% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Dari data tersebut menunjukkan hasil bahwa, penerapan model RADEC cukup efektif dalam peningkatan higher order thinking skills siswa pada pembelajaran tematik UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II Makassar. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the RADEC model in improving students' higher order thinking skills in thematic learning UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II Makassar. The type of research used in this study is quantitative experimental design nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used are tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in students' higher order thinking skills in thematic learning, this was supported by posttest scores in the experimental class much increased than in the control class. Another thing that supports is that hypothesis testing shows a hypothesis test output at sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The N-Gain test showed that the average N-Gain score in the experimental class was 61.8948 or 61.9% included in the category of quite effective. From these data, it shows the results that the application of the RADEC model is effective in improving students' higher order thinking skills in thematic learning UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata Tahun 2023, Kelebihan dan kekurangan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata Tahun 2023, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata, Kota Palopo pada bulan November 2023 sampai dengan Januari 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum/Manajemen Mutu, bendahara sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis dengan tiga tahapan yaitu melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Kesiapan guru kelas tinggi dalam implementasi penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata untuk 8 standar sudah berjalan dengan baik dan memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan, (2) Kelebihan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, adanya kerja sama antara kepala sekolah, guru, wali kelas, peserta didik, orang tua dan masyarakat luas. Sedangkan kekurangan antara lain, masih terdapat guru yang belum siap mental serta belum terlalu memahami kurikulum secara detail, kurangnya pemahaman dan kompetensi guru terhadap kemajuan teknologi sehingga capaian dari Kurikulum Merdeka belum efisien, terlalu banyak kegiatan yang harus dilakukan peserta didik di samping kegiatan mandiri yang menguras pemikirannya, (3) Faktor pendukung dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu: (a) Tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, (b) Kerja sama antara Kepala Sekolah, Dinas Pendidikan, Dinas dan Lembaga yang terkait dengan sumber belajar, guru, wali kelas, peserta didik, orang tua dan masyarakat luas, (c) Guru mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu: (a) Masih terdapat kekurangan ruang kelas yang mengakibatkan peserta didik berbagi shift, (b) Jumlah peserta didik yang melebihi standar dalam kelas, (c) Peserta didik kadang kurang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran mandiri, (d) Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi telah berjalan dengan baik. Akan tetapi dalam hal belajar mandiri dan manajemen waktu, peserta didik di sekolah ini belum begitu terampil dan masih kelelahan dalam setiap proses. This study aims to determine: (1) Teacher readiness in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in the high grades at SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata in 2023, (2) The advantages and disadvantages of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in the high grades at SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata in 2023, (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in the high grades at SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata, Palopo City from November 2023 to January 2024. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Vice Principal of Curriculum/Quality Management, school treasurer, teachers and students. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed with three stages, namely through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study can be concluded that: (1) The readiness of high-class teachers in implementing the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 1 Lalebbata for 8 standards has gone well and meets the established standards, (2) The advantages of the Merdeka Curriculum are the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the cooperation between the principal, teachers, homeroom teachers, students, parents and the wider community. While the shortcomings include, among others, there are still teachers who are not mentally prepared and do not really understand the curriculum in detail, teachers' lack of understanding and competence in technological advances so that the achievements of the Merdeka Curriculum are not efficient, there are too many activities for students to do in addition to independent activities that drain their thinking, (3) Supporting factors in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, namely: (a) Availability of facilities and infrastructure, (b) Cooperation between the Principal, Education Office, Offices and Institutions related to learning resources, teachers, homerooms, students, parents and the wider community, (c) Teachers participate in Merdeka Curriculum socialization activities. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are: (a) There is still a lack of classrooms which results in students sharing shifts, (b) The number of students exceeds the standard in the classroom, (c) Students are sometimes less active in independent learning activities, (d) Differentiated learning has gone well. However, in terms of independent learning and time management, learners in this school are not so skilled and are still exhausted in every process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea 2 Makassar. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik untuk memotivasi peserta didik dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka melalui proyek-proyek praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V berjumlah 61 orang, yaitu kelas V-A sebanyak 31 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas V-B sebanyak 30 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen betujuan untuk mengukur atau mengumpulkan data mengenai variabel yang diteliti, adapun instrument yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan tes berpikir kritis. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model PjBL. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Peserta didik menunjukkan minat yang lebih tinggi dalam pelajaran dan keterlibatan yang lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik juga meningkat secara signifikan, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor tes berpikir kritis pada posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest, pada pretest skor berpikir kritis sedanyak 36,84 dan mengalami peningkatan pada postest dengan jumlah rata-rata 85,82. Model project-based learning efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea 2 Makassar. Penerapan PjBL memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan relevan, mendorong peserta didik untuk terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning model on motivation and critical thinking skills of students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea 2 Makassar. Project-based learning as one of the effective approaches to increase learners' engagement and critical thinking skills to motivate learners and develop their critical thinking skills through practical projects. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi Experimental Design. The sample in this study were 61 fifth grade students, namely class V-A as many as 31 students as the experimental class, and class V-B as many as 30 students as the control class. The instrument aims to measure or collect data on the variables studied, while the instruments used include questionnaires to measure learning motivation and critical thinking tests. Data were collected through pretests and posttests before and after the application of the PjBL model. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the application of the PjBL model significantly increased students' learning motivation. Learners showed higher interest in the lesson and more active involvement in learning activities. In addition, learners' critical thinking skills also increased significantly, indicated by an increase in critical thinking test scores on the posttest compared to the pretest, in the pretest the critical thinking score was 36.84 and increased in the posttest with an average of 85.82. The project-based learning model is effective in increasing students' motivation and critical thinking skills at UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea 2 Makassar. The application of PjBL provides an interesting and relevant learning experience, encourages learners to be actively involved in learning and develops their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program Ketercapaian 24 Profil Leadership Curriculum Model Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) di SDIT Ar-Rahmah Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi program dengan model CIPP. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan penelitian kombinasi (mix methods). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi partisipan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Analisis data meliputi proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kemudian, data analisis juga menggunakan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Evaluasi pada aspek konteks mengases latar belakang program, tujuan, dan relevansi visi misi sekolah dengan tujuan program. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa tujuan 24 profil Leadership Curriculum di SDIT Ar-Rahmah Makassar adalah untuk menyasar 24 profil Leadership Curriculum. Hal ini sudah sesuai dengan Permendikbudristek No. 5 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL). (2) Evaluasi pada aspek input mengases kompetensi guru, sarana dan prasarana, dan pembiayaan. Hasil evaluasi pada aspek ini sudah sesuai dengan PP No. 19 Tahun 2005 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan, Permendikbudristek No. 22 Tahun 2023 tentang Standar Sarana dan Prasarana Pendidikan, dan Permendikbudristek No. 18 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Pembiayaan Pendidikan. (3) Evaluasi pada aspek proses mengases persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi ketercapaian 24 profil Leadership Curriculum. Hasil evaluasi pada aspek ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sudah sesuai dengan Permendikbudristek No. 16 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan dan Permendikbudristek No. 21 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Penilaian Pendidikan. (4) Evaluasi pada aspek produk mengases dampak, kelebihan, kekurangan program. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa ketercapaian 24 profil Leadership Curriculum sudah sesuai dengan tujuan program. This study aims to evaluate the program Achievement of 24 Profiles of Leadership Curriculum Model Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) at SDIT Ar-Rahmah Makassar. This research is program evaluation research with the CIPP model. The research approach used is a combination research approach (mix methods). The data collection methods used were participant observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis includes the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Then, data analysis also uses inferential statistics. The results showed that: (1) Evaluation in the context aspect assesses the program background, objectives, and the relevance of the school's vision and mission to the program objectives. The evaluation results show that the purpose of the 24 Leadership Curriculum profiles at SDIT Ar-Rahmah Makassar is to target the 24 Leadership Curriculum profiles. This is in accordance with Permendikbudristek No. 5 of 2022 concerning Graduate Competency Standards (SKL). (2) Evaluation in the input aspect assesses teacher competence, learner competence, facilities and infrastructure, and financing. The evaluation results in this aspect are in accordance with Government Regulation No 19 of 2005 on National Education Standards, Minister of Research and Technology Regulation No 22 of 2023 on Education Facilities and Infrastructure Standards, and Minister of Research and Technology Regulation No 18 of 2022 on Education Financing Standards. (3) Evaluation on the process aspect assesses the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the achievement of the 24 Leadership Curriculum profiles. The results of the evaluation in this aspect show that the implementation is in accordance with Permendikbudristek No. 16 of 2022 concerning Education Process Standards and Permendikbudristek No. 21 of 2022 concerning Education Assessment Standards. (4) Evaluation of the product aspect assesses the impact, strengths and weaknesses of the program. The evaluation results show that the achievement of the 24 Leadership Curriculum profiles is in accordance with the program objectives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berpusat pada penerapan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality. Minimnya pemanfaatan dan penggunaan teknologi sesuai inovasi media pembelajaran dan kurang mendukung media pembelajaran Matematika khususnya materi bangun ruang yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman menjadikan kebutuhan dikembangkannya media ini. Produk yang dikembangkan ialah media pembelajaran Augmented Reality. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah penerapan media pembelajaran yang diharapkan mampu dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran untuk siswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan motivasi belajar sehingga tujuan adanya pembelajaran bisa terpenuhi secara optimal. Metode penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) dan dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek yang menjadi uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV. Pengujian kelayakan produk di nilai oleh dua ahli dengan hasil persentase kelayakan media sebesar 86,85% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Persentase rata-rata hasil respons guru adalah sebesar 93,85% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Adapun, persentase rata-rata hasil respons peserta didik sebesar 92,75% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Augmented Reality layak dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Matematika. Tingkat keberhasilan atau keefektifan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality dilihat tes dari hasil belajar peserta didik. Peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 76,6 dan 80% nilai KKTP (Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran) yang telah dicapai semua peserta didik diatas nilai ketuntasan 66 – 85% yang telah ditetapkan sekolah. This research centers on the application of learning media in the form of applications using Augmented Reality technology. The lack of utilization and use of technology in accordance with learning media innovation and lack of support for learning media Mathematics, especially the material of building space in accordance with the times makes the need to develop this media. The product developed is Augmented Reality learning media. The purpose of this research is the application of learning media that is expected to be able to be used as an alternative learning media for students in improving material understanding and learning motivation so that the purpose of learning can be fulfilled optimally. This research method is R&D (Research and Development) and was developed using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects who were tested in this study were fourth grade students. Product feasibility testing was assessed by two experts with the results of the percentage of media feasibility of 86.85% with the criteria “Very Feasible”. The average percentage of teacher response results is 93.85% with “Very Good” criteria. Meanwhile, the average percentage of student response results was 92.75% with the criteria “Very Good”. From the results of this study, it can be said that Augmented Reality learning media is feasible and practical to use as a learning media for Mathematics. The level of success or effectiveness of Augmented Reality learning media is seen from the test of student learning outcomes. Learners obtained an average score of 76.6 learning outcomes and 80% of KKTP (Criteria for Completion of Learning Objectives) values that have been achieved by all students above the 66 - 85% completeness value set by the school.
