Abstract

Efforts to increase income and maintain the existence of rice farming must be a priority for agricultural development. High productivity will lead to high farmer acceptance with efficient production costs so that farmers' income and farm profitability will increase. The purpose of this study was to analyze the profitability of rainfed lowland rice farming. This research was conducted in Soreang Village, Lau District and Bonto Mate'ne Village, Marusu District, Maros Regency. The total population of the study was 334 people and the sample was 15% of the total population, namely 50 farmers. Farmer samples were taken using simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The types of data are qualitative and quantitative data. There are two sources of data, namely primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is profitability analysis, namely Gross Margin, Net Farm Income, Net Profi Margin, and Return on Investment. The results of this study indicate that rainfed lowland rice farming in Maros Regency uses profitability analysis, namely the efficient Gross Margin produces net profits, Net Farm Income gets a profit or net income, Net Profit Margin gains increase (NPM > 5%), and Return on Investment in farming Rainfed lowland rice is profitable to implement (ROI > 50%). In order to increase the profitability of rice farming, it is necessary to use urea and phonska fertilizers according to the recommendations so that production can be increased.

Abstract

The best or maximum income is achieved when the production level is optimal. Farmer income is one of the motivations for farmers to carry out their farming business. Profitability or farmer income and supported by good farming feasibility through the large ratio of income to farming costs. This research aims to analyze the comparative income, feasibility, and profitability of rainfed lowland rice farming. This research was conducted in Sape'e and Coppo Villages, Barru District, and Lompo Tengah and Lempang Villages, Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency. The total population of the study was 367 people, while the sample of farmers who were used as respondents was 70 people. To get the number of samples a multi-stage cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation/observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis and profitability with an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the income from rainfed lowland rice farming in the Tanete Riaja District was greater than that of the Barru District. Meanwhile, feasibility and profitability (Net Farm Income, Return on Investment, and Break Event Point) do not have a big difference between Barru District and Tanete Riaja District. Rice farming income in the research area still needs to be increased by reducing production input costs and the government must maintain subsidies for production inputs, especially fertilizer. With this subsidy, fertilizer use as recommended can be carried out to increase the production produced by farmers.

Abstract

Cases of non-performance of contract. on the part of the aggrieved party bring the case to the criminal realm. The charge reported is the fraud article, even though the criminal offense has not been fulfilled. So that it has the potential to cause wrong criminalization, the main problem is the inaccurate use of the fraud article against defaults which are basically civil. The research method uses normative juridical with decision analysis and criminal and civil law studies related to non-performance of contract. and fraud. The results show that non-performance of contract. can only turn into a criminal offense of fraud if there are elements of intent, bad faith, use of deception, or falsification of agreements with the intention of benefiting oneself against the law. Therefore, law enforcement officials should be careful in distinguishing non-performance of contract. and fraud cases to avoid abuse of the law that harms the parties concerned. The hopes and solutions proposed are proportional law enforcement by paying attention to the element of malicious intent in determining criminal offenses, as well as legal education to the public so that they understand the difference between the civil and criminal domains in contractual disputes.

Abstract

This article examines the harmonization between the mudharabah contract concept in fiqh muamalah and the mechanism for establishing Sharia Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) in Indonesia. The mudharabah contract, which bases business partnerships on a profit-sharing principle between the capital owner (shahibul maal) and the business manager (mudharib), is characterized by trust, fairness, and transparency. Meanwhile, a Sharia LLC is a modern legal entity governed by national statutory regulations, with a formal and structured legal framework. Using a normative-juridical approach and comparative analysis, this article explores the intersections and potential conflicts between these two systems and formulates an integrative model that allows for the substantive application of Sharia values embedded in mudharabah within the legal framework of an LLC. The findings reveal that the fundamental principles of mudharabah can be adopted in the design of institutional structures, governance, and decision-making mechanisms within a Sharia LLC, without violating positive law. These findings underscore the importance of reconstructing Islamic legal thought to be responsive to the dynamics of modern law and promote the development of Sharia business models that are legally recognized and aligned with the maqashid shariah.
