Abstract

Industri pariwisata Indonesia mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan dengan kontribusi terhadap PDB nasional mencapai 4,8% pada tahun 2024. Biro perjalanan wisata sebagai perantara dalam ekosistem pariwisata menghadapi tantangan kompleks di era digital, mulai dari gangguan oleh platform agen perjalanan daring, perubahan perilaku konsumen yang semakin melek teknologi, hingga intensitas kompetisi yang meningkat. Makalah ini mengeksplorasi implementasi bauran pemasaran 7P dalam konteks jasa pariwisata melalui studi kasus mendalam pada Farel Tour & Travel, sebuah biro perjalanan wisata yang beroperasi di Nganjuk, Jawa Timur. Melalui pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap manajemen, karyawan, dan pelanggan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana setiap elemen bauran pemasaran 7P—Produk, Harga, Tempat, Promosi, Orang, Proses, dan Bukti Fisik—diimplementasikan dan berkontribusi terhadap penciptaan nilai pelanggan serta keunggulan kompetitif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan Farel Tour & Travel terletak pada integrasi strategis antara personalisasi layanan, efisiensi proses pemesanan, dan diferensiasi produk melalui paket wisata tematik yang unik. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan signifikan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan optimalisasi bukti fisik yang perlu ditingkatkan. Makalah ini berkontribusi pada literatur pemasaran jasa dengan menyediakan pemahaman kontekstual tentang aplikasi bauran pemasaran 7P dalam industri jasa pariwisata Indonesia, serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi praktisi industri untuk meningkatkan daya saing di era digital.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this research concerns marketing management, focusing on the impact of green marketing and digital marketing on customer loyalty. The objective is to determine and analyze the effects of green marketing and digital marketing on customer loyalty both individually and collectively. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a population consisting of customers of chicken intestine chips MSMEs in Kediri. The sample includes 85 respondents. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and data analysis involved validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing. The research hypotheses testing revealed that green marketing has a significant partial effect on customer loyalty, digital marketing also has a significant partial effect on customer loyalty, and both green marketing and digital marketing have a significant simultaneous effect on customer loyalty in chicken intestine chips MSMEs in Kediri. Overall, this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge in marketing management by shedding light on the effects of green marketing and digital marketing on customer loyalty. The findings suggest that implementing these strategies can be beneficial for MSMEs in the chicken intestine chips industry in Kediri, as they can enhance customer loyalty and potentially lead to increased business success.

Abstract

Green innovation and digital transformation are one of the crucial components in dealing with industrial development and environmental issues for SMEs. Each has an important and interrelated role in helping the performance of SMEs. This study aims to identify how the collaboration of green innovation and digital transformation in improving the performance of SMEs with a systematic literature review technique. This research uses a systematic search strategy to collect journal articles from the Scopus and Web of Science databases for the last 5 years. The results of the systematic review revealed that green innovation and digital transformation collaborate in improving the quality of information and resources that lead to effective SME operational processes with efficient costs so to create market competitiveness and improve SME performance both financial and non-financial. The results of this study can be taken into consideration for SMEs to implement green innovation and digital transformation in their operations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of marketplace in encouraging digital internationalization and product development at PT Bungas Food Nusantara. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with company management, observation of activities on the marketplace platform, and supporting documentation. The results of the study show that marketplaces function not only as digital distribution channels, but also as strategic infrastructure that allows companies to reach international markets without conventional export mechanisms. Internationalization occurs gradually through increased demand from overseas consumers facilitated by the platform's algorithmic system and global visibility. In addition, the marketplace's reviews, ratings, and analytics features are used as the basis for product development, including packaging adjustments, variant innovation, and data-driven promotional strategies. These findings show that marketplaces play a role as a catalyst for internationalization as well as a driver of product innovation in the context of the digital economy.

Abstract

The tempe chip industry in Sanan Village, Malang City, represents a culturally embedded small and medium enterprise (SME) cluster that has contributed to the local economy for decades. However, intensifying intra-cluster competition, soybean price volatility, and shifting consumer behavior have placed increasing pressure on the competitiveness of businesses in this area. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Keripik Tempe Dua Karunia — one of the pioneering enterprises in Sanan Village that has been operating since 1980 — and to identify the marketing strategy factors that contribute to enhancing its competitive advantage. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through field observation, in-depth interviews with the business owner, and documentation analysis. The analysis is grounded in the 4P marketing mix framework — Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. The findings reveal that Dua Karunia builds its competitiveness through four strategic pillars: (1) product differentiation through multi-flavor diversification and consumer-driven customization; (2) cost-based pricing that is adaptively managed through shrinkflation tactics in response to raw material price fluctuations; (3) multi-channel distribution that integrates direct outlet sales with digital platforms (Shopee and WhatsApp); and (4) long-established word-of-mouth reputation-based promotion reinforced by active e-commerce presence. This study concludes that the consistent integration of all four marketing mix elements, supported by family-based operational flexibility and the cultural heritage value embedded in the product, constitutes the primary source of sustained competitive advantage for Dua Karunia amid increasingly intense cluster competition. These findings carry practical implications for similar SMEs seeking to design adaptive, competitiveness-oriented marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the participation of an Indonesian modest fashion SME in the global value chain. The research focuses on an Abaya-producing SME in Malang that has expanded its market to several international destinations. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and supporting documentation, and analyzed thematically. The findings show that the firm entered export markets gradually through digital platforms, exhibitions, and direct communication with overseas buyers. Its global value chain participation was strengthened by trust-based relationships, product adaptation, quality control, and continuous learning in export procedures. The study also finds that internationalization encouraged capability upgrading and created local economic benefits through the involvement of community-based workers. This case suggests that SME participation in global value chains can develop incrementally through adaptive learning, relational governance, and strong local production linkages. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Green Entrepreneurship and Green Product Innovation on Purchase Intention among Generation Z consumers in Malang City. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design was employed. Data were collected using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and obtained from Generation Z respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS, including validity and reliability testing, normality testing, multicollinearity assessment, and multiple linear regression to test the research hypotheses. The results indicate that Green Entrepreneurship has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Similarly, Green Product Innovation demonstrates a significant contribution to increasing consumers’ intention to purchase environmentally friendly products. These findings highlight that sustainable entrepreneurial practices and eco-friendly product innovations enhance young consumers’ interest in UMKM products, emphasizing the strategic importance of sustainability in contemporary marketing.

Abstract

Strategic planning is an important element for the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing competition and market dynamics. This study aims to analyze the strategic planning process at Lumba-Lumba Cassava Chips MSME in Malang, which operates in the highly competitive snack food industry. The approach used is descriptive qualitative through case study method, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation of production and marketing processes, and documentati . Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that strategic planning in this SME is carried out informally and based on the owner's experience, but it covers the main components of strategic planning, namely situation analysis, strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. The strategies are aimed at improving product quality, stabilizing raw material supplies, and expanding the marketing network through souvenir shops. However, product innovation, digital marketing, and strategy documentation are still not optimal. Strategy evaluation is also carried out intuitively without measurable performance indicators. This study concludes that although strategic planning at Lumba-Lumba Cassava Chips SME is not yet structured, the strategies implemented are able to maintain business sustainability. This study provides implications for SME actors to strengthen strategy documentation, product innovation, and digital marketing, as well as for SME facilitators to improve strategic management training in line with the SME context.

Abstract

Sustainability performance in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial element for strengthening regional economic competitiveness, including in Probolinggo City. Government policies that encourage business sustainability through capacity enhancement, innovation, adaptation, and the reinforcement of green entrepreneurial orientation position entrepreneurial orientation and innovation capability as strategic determinants of MSME continuity. Global demands related to environmental issues, advances in production technology, shifting consumer preferences, and the growing need for eco-friendly products increasingly require MSMEs to develop their innovation capabilities. Although most MSMEs have not yet attained the level of innovation capability and green entrepreneurial orientation found in larger enterprises, the demand to operate sustainably remains a priority. This study aims to analyze the relationship between green entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability, and sustainability performance among MSMEs in Probolinggo City. The research involved 30 MSME actors as respondents, using questionnaires as the primary instrument and data processing through SmartPLS. The findings indicate that green entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on innovation capability and sustainability performance.
