Abstract

This study aims to determine the early reading skills of students who were taught using the syllable method, as well as those who were not taught using this method, and to assess the effect of the syllable method on students' early reading skills. This is a quantitative research using a true experimental design, specifically a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was determined using probability sampling, specifically simple random sampling, where the sample group is selected randomly without considering strata in the population. Thus, the sample in this study consists of 56 students. The data collection techniques used in this study include tests (oral tests) and documentation, while the data analysis techniques involve validity and reliability tests, as well as hypothesis testing (Independent Sample T-Test) using Ms. Excel and SPSS IBM version 30 for Windows. The results of the study are as follows: (1) The early reading skills of the control group students were adequate, as indicated by the early reading skill indicators, which showed slight improvement, although not all students showed good early reading skills due to many scores falling below the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM). The pretest average score was 10.928 with an average score of 54.642, while the posttest average score was 11.857 with an average score of 59.464. (2) The early reading skills of the experimental group students were very good, as seen from the indicators of early reading skills, which showed significant improvement, and all students in this group scored above the KKM. The pretest average score was 12.000 with an average score of 60.000, while the posttest average score was 15.321 with an average score of 76.607. (3) The syllable method had a significant effect on students' early reading skills, as indicated by the hypothesis test (Independent Sample T-Test), where the significance value was 0.001 < 0.05, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that the syllable method has an effect on the early reading skills of second-grade students in Bahasa Indonesia at SDN 185 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas falsafah pendidikan Timur dengan fokus pada tradisi Konfusianisme, Hindu-Buddhis, dan Islam. Setiap tradisi menawarkan nilai-nilai unik seperti pembentukan karakter, kesadaran spiritual, dan keselarasan antara ilmu agama dan duniawi. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif berbasis kajian pustaka untuk mengidentifikasi prinsip inti dari masing-masing tradisi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Konfusianisme menekankan kebajikan, harmoni sosial, dan teladan, sementara tradisi Hindu-Buddhis menyoroti spiritualitas, meditasi, dan pencerahan diri. Pendidikan Islam mengintegrasikan aspek intelektual dan spiritual untuk membentuk individu yang holistik. Penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru tentang bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan Timur dapat diadaptasi untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan kontemporer, seperti globalisasi dan krisis identitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas falsafah kritis dan Marxisme serta kontribusi teori pendidikan kritis dari Paulo Freire dan Henry Giroux dalam konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kajian pustaka yang berfokus pada sumber-sumber ilmiah relevan terkait topik. Falsafah kritis dan Marxisme menekankan pentingnya analisis terhadap struktur kekuasaan dan ideologi dalam pendidikan, sedangkan teori Freire menekankan pendidikan dialogis yang membebaskan individu dari penindasan. Henry Giroux melanjutkan pemikiran ini dengan menekankan pendidikan sebagai arena resistensi budaya dan perubahan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan kritis dapat membangun kesadaran siswa terhadap realitas sosial, memberdayakan mereka sebagai agen perubahan, serta mengkritisi ideologi dominan. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan pendidikan kritis penting dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang inklusif dan responsif terhadap tantangan sosial saat ini.

Abstract

The values of moral education are discussed in the Qur'an in this article. This study uses qualitative methodologies that accurately capture the ideals of moral education contained in the Qur'an, especially those used in educational contexts. In this study, there were 100 children and 4 teachers spread across South Sumatra who became informants. In accordance with the research criteria, information was collected using informant interviews and observation methods. Through the use of Google Form, observations and interviews are conducted to analyze data with a qualitative approach, which will make it easier to understand research findings on the principles of moral education. To study the results of this investigation, in particular: In the beginning, in the midst of a time where technology and information are developing rapidly, we can strengthen the values of moral education by using techniques of (1) example, (2) training and habituation, (3) storytelling methods, and (4) recitation activities. Lack of adherence to the teachings of the Qur'an in adolescent moral education will have three negative effects: (1) arbitrary adolescent morals; (2) lack of understanding of what is meant by politeness and civility; and (3) the inability to tolerate the opinions of others. There are three main obstacles that stop people from following moral principles. In fact, in order for good moral beliefs to become a daily routine, they must first be represented at home. Fourth, in the millennial era, parents are the main factor that influences how a child develops morals, and the best way to instill good morals in children is that parents must live by example by acting morally upright in front of their children and grandchildren. If parents behave well, good morals will then develop by themselves in children.

Abstract

The way children are educated in Islam has an impact on their growth and role in life. Through this article, we examine the factors that cause the success of how to educate children in Islam focusing on the morals, manners and knowledge of children in the realm of the family. The type of analysis used in this study is literature search, or in other words called literature search. It is a problem-solving activity based on a critical and in-depth analysis of important library materials. Most of this research is done in newspapers and news stories, looking for different sources of information relating to the issue under investigation. This research method uses qualitative descriptive methods. The data displayed is categorized, displayed, and analyzed using a system of elaboration of the source's answers, This analysis involves contextualizing and interpreting the data that has been collected. The data are presented in this article in a narrative and descriptive format. The conclusion of this study on child rearing in the Islamic worldview is that raising children in the Islamic worldview is the duty of every parent. Children are a gift of Allah SWT to all parents and raising children in an Islamic perspective is an irreplaceable obligation of every parent. There are different ways of raising children in Islam, for example. How to teach the basics of Islam, give nicknames to children with good intentions, give affection every day and teach children to pray since childhood. Environmental factors, parental character and social environment can affect a child's education in Islam. Abstract

This research is entitled Islamic Religious Education as a means of forming the Qur'anic generation in Ma'had Al-Jami'ah. The aim of this research is to find out the function of Islamic religious education in creating a Qur'anic generation. The results obtained are that there are many activities carried out at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah to form the Qur'ani generation. These activities are to provide a deep understanding of Islamic teachings and be able to apply them in everyday life. Especially in the context of Muslims, Islamic religious education plays a very important role in shaping the morals and values ​​of the younger generation. In an effort to produce quality generations of Al-Qur'an, it will also study Al-Qur'an memorization, Al-Qur'an understanding, application of Al-Qur'an ideals, and integration of Islamic religious education with general education.

Abstract

Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemeliharaan koleksi bahan pustaka di perpustakaan MAN 2 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan proses pemeliharaan yang meliputi reproduksi, penjilidan, laminasi, penyiangan, dan fumigasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan koleksi dilakukan dengan cara reproduksi untuk menjaga dan menyediakan duplikasi buku yang hilang atau rusak, penjilidan untuk memperbaiki punggung buku dan halaman yang rusak, serta laminasi untuk melindungi bahan pustaka dari kerusakan. Penyiangan dilakukan dengan mengeluarkan buku yang tidak diminati atau sudah ada edisi terbaru dari inventaris, sementara fumigasi dilaksanakan untuk membasmi jamur dan serangga. Faktor pendukung pemeliharaan mencakup sarana yang lengkap, kemauan siswa, dan motivasi untuk sering menggunakan perpustakaan. Namun, terdapat juga faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya kualifikasi khusus pustakawan, terbatasnya koleksi buku, dan kurangnya disiplin siswa dalam menjaga buku. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai efektivitas metode pemeliharaan dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaan koleksi bahan pustaka di perpustakaan sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di MTs Negeri 2 Palembang dan untuk menegetahui fakfor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah MTs Negeri 2 Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini, mengunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan penelitian yaitu Waka Kurikulum, Kepala Tata Usaha, Wali Kelas. Teknik pengumpulann data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data penelitian ini mengunakan triangulasi teknik dan trianguasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di MTs Negeri 2 Palembang berjalan cukup baik. Hasil penelitian dilihat dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di MTs Negeri 2 Palembang memperlihatkan indikator dari pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka sekolah yaitu pengarahan, koordinasi, komunikasi dan motivasi dalam partisipasi siswa-siswi pendidikan indonesia yang merata, pembelajaran yang efektif dan supaya tidak adanya ketertinggalan anak didik dalam kurikulum merdeka. Adapun faktor pendukungnya yaitu fasilitas yang memadai, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, guru, peserta didik. dengan adanya hal tersebut perserta didik lebih leluasa dalam belajar di dalam kelas. Adapun faktor penghambat meliputi kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang penilaian yang ditetapkan oleh kurikulum merdeka. Dikarenakan kurangnya pengalaman mengajar pada guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan budaya 5R (Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin) di MI Amalul Khair Palembang, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Metode peneliti menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan yaitu, kepala madrasah, staf dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi teknik, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan budaya 5R (Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin) di MI Amalul Khair Palembang sudah dilakukan dengan baik dilihat dalam mengidentifikasi barang yang tidak diperlukan dalam suatu ruangan sudah sesuai. Faktor pendukungnya kepemimpnan kuat dari kepala madrasah dan keterlibatan aktif kepala madrasah, kepala tata usaha, guru, siswa, dan staf madrasah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya dilihat dari fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai.
