Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the worst Covid-19 handling and resilience ranking in the world. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused learning activities that were initially carried out face-to-face, have now turned online-based or referred to as online learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of classroom culture on the academic achievement of students of the Management Department of IPB University. The research was conducted in July 2021 – September 2021 involving as many as 213 respondents, namely active students of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University with the proportional random sampling method. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data comes from distributing questionnaires online using google form. While secondary data comes from sources relevant to the research topic. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The results of the study indicate that the classroom culture that occurs in Management Department students shows the category towards being open with a fairly good perception of assessment. At the 5% level of significance, Class Culture has a significant and positive effect on academic achievement.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran dibutuhkan seorang guru profesional yaitu guru yang benar-benar menguasai bidang yang diampu dan mampu membelajarkannya, karena guru adalah sebuah profesi dimana profesi tersebut merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dan penting dalam menentukan kemajuan sebuah bangsa. Dalam peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia No. 74 Tahun 2008 dan Permendiknas No. 16 Tahun 2007 telah disebutkan apa saja yang termasuk kompetensi-kompetensi keguruan khususnya kompetensi pedagogik guru sains sekolah satu atap Indonesia Makkah Saudi Arabia. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk memperoleh strategi yang efektif guna peningkatan kompetensi pedagogic guru sains yang ada di sekolah Indonesia Makkah karena tenaga pengajar masih ada yang tidak linier antara pendidikan dengan jenjang yang diampu. Deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data yang berupa fakta-fakta dari hasil penelitian yang tidak berwujud angka, melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dikatakan berkompeten dengan terpenuhinya penguasaan terhadap indikator kompetensi pedagogik yaitu: menguasai karakteristik peserta didik dari aspek fisik, moral, spiritual, sosial,kultural, emosional, dan intelektual, menguasi teori belajar dan prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik, mengembangkan kurikulum terkait dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu, menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang mendidik, memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran, memfasilitasi pengembangan potensi peserta didik untuk mengaktualisasikan potensi yang dimiliki, berkomunikasi secara efektif, empatik, dan santun terhadap peserta didik, menyelenggarakan penilaian dan evaluasi proses dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the problem-based learning model on mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of UPTD SDN Gili Barat. This research is a quantitative research with the method used is quasi-experimental and the design used is nonequivalent control group design. The sample used was 45 students from fifth grade A and B of UPTD SDN Gili Barat. Sampling using saturated samples. In this study using the experimental class and control class. Data collection used multiple choice test questions, the test instruments used were validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests and discrimination tests. The prerequisite test used is the normality test and homogeneity test while the hypothesis test uses the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05, the results were sig. (2-tailed) of 0.010 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, the treatment given has a significant effect on the problem-based learning model of learning mathematics in fifth grade students of UPTD SDN West Gili.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic made people more active in saving, such as investing in the capital market. Stocks in the technology sector were excellent stocks because the trading volume increased by up to 7.3 times during the pandemic. The Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) was a model to see the expected rate of return and aimed to assist investors in making investment decisions. CAPM used beta (β) to measure the sensitivity a stock or portfolio is to market movements. Beta indicates the tendency of an asset's return to react to fluctuations in the overall market. This study aimed to look at differences in technology sector stocks in the period before and during the pandemic using the CAPM method and paired t-test. The research using a purposive sampling method. A quantitative descriptive method was used in this study and used secondary data in the form of financial statements of technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on the results of the study, seven stocks had an average negative return before the pandemic and positive returns during the pandemic. There was one efficient stock in the pre-pandemic period and six inefficient shares, and seven shares were classified as efficient shares during the pandemic. The results of the paired t-test showed that there was a significant difference between individual returns before and during the pandemic.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of using origami paper in improving the learning achievement of grade III elementary school students. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection is carried out through observation sheets and comprehension tests. The results of the study found that although the average academic achievement of students in the "very good" category in cycle I with an average of 80.9, there were still 10 students who were not fully academically capable. After improvements were made in cycle II, the average score of students in the special category increased significantly to 93.1 with all students achieving completion. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of origami as a learning medium effectively improves the learning outcomes of Mathematics in flat geometry material for grade III students. Origami media can express abstract Mathematical concepts so that they are easier for students to understand. In addition, the use of origami supports increases student involvement and enthusiasm in learning.

Abstract

This article delves into the analysis of the Oxford EAP Elementary/A2 Student Book using the analytical framework developed by M.H. Longman. The focus lies on comprehending the structure, content, and learning objectives embedded within the textbook. Through the Longmanian framework, various aspects such as clarity, consistency, relevance to learning objectives, variation in material presentation, and student engagement are evaluated. The analysis aims to provide insights into how the book is designed and utilized in educational contexts, thereby enhancing its effectiveness in supporting student learning at the Elementary/A2 level in academic language contexts. Additionally, the integration of language skills and academic skills within the book is explored to assess its role in preparing students for success in English-speaking academic environments at university level.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are basic competencies that every student must have in order to learn well and serve as a foundation of knowledge for learning in higher classes. Literacy skills are not limited to just the ability to read, but also include the ability to analyze a reading text and understand its meaning and concepts. Meanwhile, numeracy abilities include skills in applying mathematical concepts to solve practical problems in various situations in everyday life. The campus teaching program at elementary school 8 Cakranegara aims to help the school in the learning process, especially in the areas of literacy and numeracy. The method used in this service starts from stage (1) Pre-activity, namely debriefing; (2) Observation of placement schools; (3) Prepare an activity program design; (4) Conducting communication forums and school coordination; (5) Carry out the agreed work program and (6) Evaluate the implementation of activities. The target of this service activity is all students in elementary school 8 Cakranegara. To improve students' literacy and numeracy skills, researchers implemented several work programs, including Saturday storytelling programs, calistung tutoring, using learning media during the teaching and learning process, and implementing contextual learning. These programs have a positive impact on the school environment, especially in terms of improving the literacy and numeracy skills of students at elementary school 8 Cakranegara

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 194 Sukajadi Kota Bandung karena pembelajaran masih bersifat monoton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menerapkan media smart box danpembelajaran konvensional, serta mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkanya media smart box dan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dengan bentuk desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Jenis pengambilan sampel menggunakan Non-probability Sampling atau pemilihan nonrandom yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen IV-A dan kelas kontrol IV-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Motivasi belajar siswa di kelas kontrol mengalami penurunan setelah diberikan perlakuan, dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 78,61 dan post-test sebesar 74,35. (2) Motivasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan perlakuan media smart box, dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 78,57 dan post-test sebesar 84,29. (3) Efektivitas hasil motivasi belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dapat dibuktikan dengan analisis uj t (hipotesis), diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel (9,278 > 2,002), maka dapat disimpulkan ditolak dan diterima berarti terdapat efektivitas yang signifikan motivasi belajar siswa dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran smart box pada kelas eksperimen terhadap kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Hobin is a teenager who was initially considered weak and often became a victim of bullying at school because of his poor physical condition. Hobin's life changes began when he discovered the Newtube channel which provided fighting guides. Hobin utilizes this platform to create his personal fighting content, not only as entertainment, but also as a means of positive change in his life. His decision received a positive response, bringing significant changes to his popularity and resulting in impressive physical and mental growth. This article aims to conduct a study of the intrinsic elements of this comic, exploring aspects of character development, storyline, and moral message, especially through Hobin's journey of transformation, which creates a strong basis for an in-depth study of the comic "How To Fight" by Park Tae Jun.

This article examines how Sufism principles can strengthen morality and ethics in the learning process. Sufism, with its emphasis on cleansing the heart and spiritual upliftment, offers a holistic method to educate students not only intellectually but also morally and emotionally. Through the Sufism approach, teachers can create a learning environment imbued with spiritual values such as honesty, patience, compassion, and respect. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study analysis to explore how Sufi concepts can be applied to teaching strategies. The findings show that integrating Sufism into education can foster higher moral awareness among students and help teachers create a harmonious and productive classroom atmosphere. By applying this approach, future English teachers can become role models in teaching moral values
