Abstract

This study aims to map the development of research on digital transformation in music learning through a bibliometric approach based on Scopus data for the 2020–2025 period. The analysis was conducted to identify publication trends, thematic structure, and geographic distribution of research. The method used was bibliometrics with the help of VOSviewer to analyze keyword co-occurrence, thematic clusters, and the interrelationships between key concepts within the study area. The results show that publication trends fluctuated at the beginning of the period, then increased significantly in the later years, indicating a process of normalization and strengthening of the role of digital technology in music education. The thematic structure shows the dominance of pedagogical concepts such as music education and e-learning, but is beginning to evolve towards more complex technologies such as artificial intelligence and immersive systems. Meanwhile, the geographic distribution shows a dominance of developed countries with limited involvement from developing countries. The conclusion of this study confirms that digital transformation in music learning is an ongoing process of educational paradigm evolution, with a developmental direction toward more adaptive, inclusive, and multidisciplinary technology integration within the modern music learning ecosystem. Keywords: Digital Transformation; Music Learning; Bibliometrics; Digital Music Education.

Abstract

Evaluation of the learning process and educational evaluation are strategic elements in an education quality assurance system oriented toward continuous improvement. This article aims to comprehensively examine the concepts, functions, types, and implementation of learning evaluation and educational evaluation in the context of secondary education, with a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Kaimana. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving the school principal, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that the school has implemented a relatively comprehensive and integrated evaluation system, encompassing formative, summative, and diagnostic evaluations, as well as competency-based evaluation supported by the use of digital technology. Learning evaluation functions not only as a tool for measuring learning outcomes but also as a means of pedagogical reflection for teachers and as a basis for school managerial decision-making. However, this study also identifies several challenges, including the suboptimal consistency in the implementation of differentiated learning, disparities in digital competencies between senior and junior teachers, limitations in guidance and counseling services, and issues related to the quality and timeliness of learning feedback. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening teacher capacity, systematically utilizing evaluation data, and ensuring the active involvement of all stakeholders in the evaluation process. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of a holistic, participatory educational evaluation model oriented toward the continuous improvement of educational quality

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the factors that determine the profitability of state Islamic banks (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam). Method: This research uses an associative quantitative approach. The data used comes from State-Owned Islamic Banks in 3 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam) from 2015 to 2024, sourced from Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB). The data were analyzed using panel data quantile regression in EViews. Result: This study found that NPF has a negative and significant effect on the ROE of state-owned Islamic banks, whereas CIR, CAR, and FDR have positive and significant effects on the ROE of state-owned Islamic banks. The second result shows that ROE, NPF, and CIR have a negative and significant effect on ROA, while CAR and FDR variables have a positive and significant effect on ROA. Based on the results of the quantile and Sobel regression tests, it is clear that NPF, CIR, CAR, and FDR variables influence the ROA of state-owned Islamic banks, either directly or through ROE. Implication: This study emphasizes the need to strengthen profitability risk-based policies among institutions in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam to enhance the competitiveness of state-owned sharia banks in the region. Originality or Novelty: The originality of this research lies in using Return on Equity (ROE) as a mediating variable and, at the same time, employing panel data quantile regression, where ROE mediates the relationship between the profitability of state-owned Islamic banks and Return on Assets (ROA).

Abstract

Studies on the obligation to pay motor vehicle tax are generally only reviewed within the scope of public law or state administration. In fact, the implementation of this obligation has a strong relationship with the concept of obligations in civil law, referring to the provisions of Article 1233 of the Civil Code. This study was conducted to analyze the legal status of Motor Vehicle Tax as a form of obligation between Taxpayers and the Regional Government, and to evaluate field factors that influence the level of compliance at the UPT Revenue SAMSAT Wajo Region. An empirical legal approach was applied to combine regulatory analysis with sociological facts in society. Primary data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, supported by legislative instruments as secondary data, to be analyzed qualitatively. The results of the investigation prove that tax obligations are a form of legal obligations that arise purely due to statutory orders. The Regional Government is in the position of creditor holding the right to collect, while the community has the status of debtor carrying the obligation. Negligence in fulfilling this obligation triggers the imposition of administrative fines, the function of which is in line with the concept of compensation for default. In practice, public compliance is strongly supported by the quality of bureaucratic services, but is simultaneously hampered by low legal understanding, agrarian economic instability, and administrative problems resulting from the high number of vehicle sales without title transfers.

Abstract

This study examined the role of psychological resilience and mental health in predicting entrepreneurial readiness among health students. Using a cross-sectional explanatory design, 412 students were recruited through purposive sampling from a faculty of health sciences. Data were collected using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21), and an entrepreneurial readiness questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with model fit indices. The results showed that resilience had a strong and significant direct effect on entrepreneurial readiness (β = 0.929; p < 0.001) and on mental health (β = 0.992; p < 0.001). In contrast, mental health did not show a significant direct effect on entrepreneurial readiness (β = 0.062; p = 0.528). These findings highlight resilience as a central psychological competence that not only enhances well-being but also plays a crucial role in strengthening entrepreneurial readiness among health students. Therefore, strengthening psychological resilience through campus-based training programs and interventions may serve as a relevant strategy to prepare a more resilient generation of health students who are better equipped to face future challenges in both employment and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Human detection using thermal cameras is very useful in certain conditions, such as detecting people lost in mountainous areas that are difficult to explore. Rescue operations are usually conducted by deploying a search and rescue (SAR) team to the location, which is not always effective because this operation can only be carried out under certain conditions and may pose a risk to the SAR team itself. Therefore, one alternative approach is the use of drones equipped with human detection and recognition capabilities. In this context, thermal cameras are used because they can penetrate challenging environments, making them suitable for SAR operations. The object detection method used in this study was You Only Look Once (YOLO) version 8 or YOLOv8. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of integrating enhanced super-resolution generative adversarial networks (ESRGAN) with YOLOv8 and incorporating a convolutional block attention module (CBAM) into the neck architecture of YOLOv8. The performance of ESRGAN with YOLOv8 and CBAM with YOLOv8 was evaluated using precision, mean average precision (mAP), and training loss. Based on the experimental results, the combination of ESRGAN with YOLOv8 outperformed the CBAM-based modification. This is indicated by higher precision and mAP values, as well as lower training loss in the ESRGAN-enhanced YOLOv8 detection framework. The experimental findings highlight that image enhancement using ESRGAN is more effective than CBAM-based modification in improving thermal image-based human detection performance for SAR applications.
