Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik harus terus dilakukan dalam proses pendidikan agar pembangunan nasional, khusus bidang pendidikan dapat tercapai. Untuk menghasikan SDM yang berkualitas, yang mampu berdaya saing diperlukan guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang profesional sebagai penentu keberhasilan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru MTs- Asshobariyah. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 15 guru MTs- Asshobiriyah dan sekaligus dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian dengan metode sensus. Penelitian ini juga berupaya menguji hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan sebelumnya. Statistik uji yang digunakan adalah Uji- t (T-Test) untuk melihat pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menentukan kinerja guru yang paling dominan adalah kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah. Selain itu terdapat pengaruh yang positif kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru

Abstract

The low yield of mathematics learning in SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih due to the liveliness and motivation of students in participating in learning is still not visible .. Low and high mathematics learning outcomes are also influenced by several factors, including the students learning style. One effort that can be done to overcome these problems is to use cooperative learning model snowball throwing.The purpose of this study was to determine the results of students mathematics learning through cooperative learning model snowball throwing in terms of students learning styles.The population of this research is all class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih totaling 285 students, divided into 9 classes. The sample was 70 students consisting of 35 students to a class of 35 students for the experimental and control classes were obtained bytechnique. cluster random samplingThe instrument used was a questionnaire and student mathematics achievement test. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a party t-test and t-test two parties.Based on t-test calculation of the two parties to the students learning style extrovert, shows thitung = 3.07 and ttable = 2.021 at significance level of 5% that  thitung > ttable (3.07> 2,021), then H0 is rejected and H1 received. For the t-test of the parties to the students learning style extrovert show thitung = 3.07 and ttable = 1.684 at significance level of 5% that  thitung > ttable (3.07> 1.684), then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. T-test calculation of the two parties to the students learning style introvert show thitung = -0.87 and ttable = -2.069 at a significance level of 5% that  thitung > ttable (-0.87> -2.069), then H0 is  rejected and H1  accepted. For the t-test for students learning styles  introvert  show thitung = -0.87 and ttable = 1.714 at significance level of 5% that  thitung <ttable   (-0.87 <1.714), then H0 is   rejected and H1 accepted. Key words: snowball throwing,learning style, ekstrovert, extrovert

Abstract

Quality education is the basic thing that must be addressed by the Indonesian government. Among the causes of the slow pace of education progress in Indonesia are geographical problems and the lack of a permanent curriculum to be conducted continuously throughout Indonesia. The district of Aceh Besar has assigned some high schools to become model schools. The model schools have the best-selected teachers as a result of a competition in Aceh Besar and each school has two physical education teachers. In order to know the high or low level of the students’ physical fitness, it needs proper and accurate assessment. In order to know the exact level of the students’ physical fitness, physical education teachers require appropriate measuring instruments. The standard measuring instrument already used by physical education teachers today is the Indonesia Physical Fitness Test. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of physical fitness among the students of the Ali Hasyimi Public High School in the District of Aceh Besar in the 2014/2015 school year. To obtain data in this study, the researcher used a descriptive type of research that seeks to describe, record, and interpret the conditions that occur currently in relation to the level of physical fitness. The approach used to obtain the research data was a test and assessment. The samples in this study were all high school students of the Ali Hasyimi Public High School in the District of Aceh Besar drawn with a total sampling technique. The data were then analyzed using a simple formula including average and percentage. The average value of physical fitness possessed by the male and female students of the state senior high schools in Aceh Besar district in the 2014/2015 school year was measured using the Indonesia Physical Fitness Test and had been adjusted to the norms of the test, as well as confirmed in the table. The category was average. The detailed percentages are as follows. 1). A total of 23 male students (40.35%) were in the average category, 2). A total of 34 male learners (59%) were in the poor category, 3). No learner who was in the category of less than adequate, good and excellent.

Abstract

Physical fitness is closely related to the students’ daily health because it is a persons ability to perform activities or work without experiencing significant physical fatigue. Physical fitness is closely related to human activities in conducting physical activities either on purpose or unintentionally. The more the students involve the body to move, the better the level of their physical fitness is. The learners of the high-grade primary schools in the District of Aceh Besar have improved their physical fitness through the implementation of physical education at school and in daily physical activities together within the family and community. However, analysis of the impacts of such physical fitness is still minimal. This study aims to determine the physical fitness level of the high-grade students of the primary schools in the District of Aceh Besar. The method of study was a field measurement test with the Indonesia Physical Fitness Test (IPFT) instrument. The samples in this study were high-grade students of the Primary Schools in Aceh Besar District in 2015 totaling 81 students from three different areas: advanced, developing and underdeveloped. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to calculate the mean and percentage. The data analysis resulted in the following conclusions: The average physical fitness of the high-grade students of the primary schools in Aceh Besar District are in the poor category, while the classification is: very good category (2.46%), good category (4.93%), average category (51.85), poor category (32.09%), and very poor category (9.87%). Based on the results, physical activities packaged in physical education should be intensified both at school and outside of school hours and is assessed continually.

Abstract

This study is aimed at developing a return board aid, and assisting athletes and coaches to improve the ability in using forehand topspin in table tennis.  A Borg and Gall’s research and developmental method is used consisting the following steps: identification of potentials and problems, data collection, developing a preliminary product, expert judgement and revision, small-scale field testing and revision, large-scale field testing, large-scale revision, product application field testing, product revison, and mass production. Ten athletes were involved in the small scale field testing and forty-two athletels were involved in the large-scale field testing. Product validation was conducted by six experts, includingt 3 practitioners and 3 lecturers. The data were collected by using interviews, observation, and test of product effectiveness, and analysed by using a mini tab 16. The findings show that the return board as a medium aid can be used to improve the ability of the athletes in applying forehand topspin. The product was found to be 53% effective for beginners and 32% effective for advanced athletes. The return board product can be used as a means for practice for junior, beginner, and senior athletes. The product can also be used to motivate athletes in their practice by assessing their ability in forehand topspin stroke.

Abstract

In a social order until recently, the male and female status is still often being debated. This discourse is increasingly phenomenal in sports and physical education which often firmly create problems of dichotomy between men and women both in the perspective of sex and gender. This study aims to explore the extent to which the understanding of the concept of gender ideology is among teachers,  high school students, stakeholders, and the public in the municipality of Surakarta and their implications in physical education. This research is designed as a qualitative descriptive exploratory study. The social setting as the object of this research is High School (SMA) in the municipality of Surakarta. The techniques of data collection employed in this research were deep interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The results showed that the average understanding of the concept of gender still overlapped with the concept of sex. The characteristics of the dominant gender ideology were naturally patterned. This was influenced by social, cultural, and religious contexts and the general social perspective towards women. Although the discourse of gender equality had emerged in many ways, people in general still strongly believed in the differences between male and female. This is then strongly implied in the implementation of physical education teaching practices. Forms of domination in learning, differences in standards, as well as distinctions in patterns of communication and sanctions, are still phenomenal.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to describe the integration process and attitude assessment done by the teacher in mathematics learning process at seventh grade of SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Solo. This qualitative research was a case study. The subjects of this research were a teacher and three seventh grade students of SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Solo. The data of integration process was in the form of activity within mathematics learning process supported by the subjects’ statement. Data analyzing process began by assessing all data available in the recorder, which includes the learning process and interview. There were three steps in analyzing the data: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Information of attitude assessment was in the form of information gathering activity conducted by the teacher to the students. The data were obtained from the transcription of recorded interview and learning process. Validation techniques used were perseverance maintenance and time triangulation. The results of this research are as follows: 1) Integration process of attitude in mathematics learning at seventh grade of SMP Al Azhar Budi Syifa Solo based on Curriculum 2013. During observation learning process, the teacher asks the students to observe objects and events in daily life related to mathematics learning topic. During question and answer learning process, the teacher gives questions to the students and provides them chance to ask questions. During information gathering process, the students were asked to discuss a certain concept, to read a book and to discuss it, to examine, to explain, and to solve a problem. During associating learning process, the teacher asks the students to analyze, to associate, and to define in details the learning topic. Lastly, during communicating learning process, the teacher helps the students to summarize the material comprehensively. 2) Process of attitude assessment during mathematics learning at seventh grade of SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Solo are: the process of curiosity assessment was conducted by the teacher when the students solved the problems related to the materials; the process of responsibility assessment was conducted by the teacher when the students solved the problems and when the students present the result of their discussion in front of the class. The assessment of curiosity and responsibility were conducted by giving checklist mark on the attitude observation sheet.Key Words: integration process of attitude, attitude assessment process, curiosity,responsibility, curriculum 2013

Abstract

Abstract: Geographic information systems have a great advantage in the process of data management, in particular spatial and attribute data in digital form. The data will be stored as an attribute of a location or object geographical location, so that it can be used optimally in the process of analysis of information, for example information system mapping livestock population in South Sumatra. The use of Web-based GIS is intended to facilitate the employers nor the Department of Animal Husbandry in accessing information and data processing to see the area that has the potential of livestock production in South Sumatra. The design of digital mapping on this system using ArcGIS 10.2. The results of the study are expected to society, especially the employers can get information and management of livestock population data, especially in the Department of South Sumatra farms become more efficient, effective and more accurate. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, Number Head Together atau model pembelajaran instruksi langsung; dan (2) apakah ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kreativitas pada kemampuan menulis mahasiswa. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental semu dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 3 Prodi Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Pontianak tahun akademik 2015/2016. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel berjumlah 60 mahasiswa. Kelas ekperimen adalah kelas B Pagi dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas C Pagi Instrumen penelitian adalah tes menulis. Uji coba instrumen tes meliputi validitas isi dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas populasi metode Lilliefors dan uji homogenitas variansi populasi metode Bartlett. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh simpulan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar yang signifikan antara mahasiswa yang menggunakan Number Head Together (NHT) dibandingkan dengan Instruksi Langsung; dan (2) adanya interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kreativitas pada kemampuan menulis mahasiswa.Kata Kunci:  Number Head Together, menulis, eksperimental.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) whether and to what extent the implementation of Inside Outside Circle technique improves students’ writing; (2) the difficulties which occur in implementing of Inside Outside Circle technique in improving students’ writing. This action research study is carried out on the third semester at private university in Pontianak.The research is carried out in 2 cycles. Every cycle consists of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The qualitative data are collected by using techniques of observation and documentation, while quantitative data are collected by using test (pre-test and post-test). The qualitative data are analyzed through descriptive analysis which consists of assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data, building interpretation, and reporting the outcomes. The quantitative data are analyzed through descriptive statistics. The research findings show that Inside Outside Circle technique can improve students’ writing and its difficulties found in the implementation.Key words: inside outside circle, writing, classroom action research
