Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Free cash flow, and firm size on Firm Value through Capital Structure as an intervening variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this study is all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2020. The sample used in this study amounted to 30 companies. This type of research uses associative research methods. Data analysis used path analysis approach using SPSS program. The results showed that profitability had a positive and significant effect on firm value. Liquidity, free cash flow , firm size, and capital structure have a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. Profitability and liquidity have a negative and significant effect on capital structure. Free cash flow has a positive and insignificant effect on the capital structure. Firm size has a positive and significant effect on capital structure. Based on the results of the mediation test, it shows that the Capital Structure is not able to act as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Sebuah modul ajar yang sudah valid belum pasti efektif untuk diterapkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran, perlu dilaksanakan uji dalam mengetahui ke efektivitasan penggunaan modul tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui ke efektivitasan dari penggunaan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi asam basa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen menggunakan rancangan one group pretes-postes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 8 Pontianak. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI Kimia 3 yang berjumlah 38 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data merupakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam bentuk esai yang terdiri dari 4 pertanyaan pedoman wawancara tidak terstruktur. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada tahap awal pretes sebesar 30% (sangat rendah) dan pada saat postes 84% (sangat tinggi). Hasil dari Uji N-Gain memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,7738 (tinggi) dengan kategori efektif. Penggunaan modul ajar berbasis problem based learning mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi asam basa hal tersebut dilihat dari terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memahami masalah setelah diberkan perlakukan menggunakan modul berbasis problem based learning.

Abstract

Establishing robust Special Economic Zones within the determined territorial boundaries of the Republic of Indonesia is crucial for attracting increased investments, fostering industrial growth, and optimizing economic activities with high value, propelling the nation's economic development forward. This study determines the effects of foreign direct investment, velocity of money, and inflation on economic growth in Indonesian Special Economic Zones. This time series approach involves 35 years of data collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics Indonesia. The result indicates that foreign direct investment and money velocity significantly affect economic growth. Besides that, inflation does not affect economic growth. In conclusion, this study has successfully identified the factors influencing economic growth. Also, this study found that inflation does not significantly affect economic growth in Indonesia's Special Economic Zones.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Caesarean section is surgery or an artificial birth whose aim is to remove the baby. Physically, the SC procedure causes abdominal pain. Pain originating from surgical wounds. SC delivery has a higher pain of around 27.3% compared to normal delivery which is only around 9%. Pain can be managed with pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. Non-pharmacological therapies that are often applied include breathing techniques, acupuncture, TENS, warm and cold compresses, massage touch and aromatherapy. This study aims to determine the effect of giving warm compresses and lemon aromatherapy on pain in post-caesarean section mothers. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with non-randomized pre-test and post-test with control group design. The sample was 60 post SC mothers at RSIA ABBY Lhokseumawe City and divided into 2 intervention groups. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that the pretest and posttest normality data in the three groups had an abnormal data distribution of <0.05. The test results showed that the warm compress and lemon aromatherapy groups experienced a decrease in pain in post-sc mothers with an average value of 8.50 and a sig value. 0.000, it can be concluded that giving warm compresses and lemon aromatherapy has an effect on the intensity of pain in post-SC mothers. Keywords: Lemon Aromatherapy, Warm Compress, Post Sectio Caesarean Pain  ABSTRAK Sectio caesare mrupakan pembedahan atau suatu persalinan buatan yang tujuannya untuk mengeluarkan bayi. Secara fisik tindakan SC menyebabkan nyeri pada abdomen. Nyeri yang berasal dari luka operasi. Persalinan SC memiliki nyeri lebih tinggi sekitar 27,3% dibandingkan dengan persalinan normal yang hanya sekitar 9%. Nyeri dapat diatasi dengan penatalaksanaan terapi farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis. terapi non farmakologis yang sering diterapkan antara lain teknik pernafasan, akupuntur, TENS, Kompres hangat dingin, sentuhan pijat dan aromaterapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompres hangat dan aromaterapi lemon terhadap nyeri pada ibu post section caesarea. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan non randomized pre-test and post-test with control group Design. Sampel adalah ibu post SC di RSIA ABBY Kota Lhokseumawe sebanyak 60 orang dan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok intervensi. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon test. Hasil penelitian didapat data normalitas pretest dan posttest pada ketiga kelompok adalah berdistribusi data tidak normal <0,05, hasil uji menunjukan pada kelompok kompres hangat dan  aromaterapi lemon mengalami penurunan nyeri pada ibu  post sc dengan nilai rata-rata 8.50 dan nilai sig. 0,000, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kompres hangat dan  aromaterapi lemon berpengaruh terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu Post SC. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini pemberian kompres hangat dan  aromaterapi lemon berpengaruh terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu Post SC. Kata Kunci: Aromaterapi Lemon, Kompres Hangat, Nyeri Post SC

Abstract

Coffee shop business growing rapidly in Bandung. Not just enjoying a cup of coffee, coffee shops are now transformed into places to socialize and gather together with friends and relatives. This trend makes existing coffee shops compete with one another by providing differentiation in product, price, place, promotion, service, atmosphere, and presentation process. This research tries to explore the marketing mix at coffee shop in Bandung and its effect on customer loyalty. With quantitative research methods taken from 80 respondents, it is known that the physical evidence factor is the main factor, on the other hand the price factor is the lowest factor that has impact on customer loyalty. This research underlines the importance of the components of the marketing mix in order to increase customer loyalty in the coffee shop business.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of repetition as a linguistic strategy in assertive speech acts within the debate discourse of the fourth vice-presidential candidates leading up to the 2024 election. Specifically, it examines the thematic relationships between repetitive figures of speech and assertive speech acts used by the first, second, and third vice-presidential candidates, utilizing NVivo 12 Plus for data visualization. Adopting a qualitative descriptive method, the study identifies instances of repetition in assertive speech acts, categorizing them into two primary functions: "stating" (three instances) and "explaining" (three instances). A pragmatic analysis reveals that repetition occurs at both the word and phrase levels, primarily serving to reinforce emphasis and strengthen the speaker's stance in political discourse. Moreover, NVivo 12 Plus analysis illustrates a hierarchical structure linking figures of speech, assertive speech acts, and their communicative functions. These findings underscore the strategic role of repetition as a persuasive tool in political debates, demonstrating its effectiveness in reinforcing arguments and enhancing audience recall. The study offers practical insights into political communication strategies, particularly for speechwriters, debate analysts, and politicians seeking to optimize message clarity and impact.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of an Arabic-Indonesian dictionary. The role of the media is very important in learning, namely to increase student motivation, arouse enthusiasm for learning and can liven up an effective learning atmosphere. Then researchers are interested in compiling a pocket dictionary, with the hope that the existence of this Arabic-Indonesian pocket dictionary product allows students to study independently and can help them to more easily understand the material. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the preparation of the Arabic-Indonesian pocket dictionary as a supporter of the Arabic-Madrasah Ibtidaiyah book. Furthermore, this research is a research and development developed by Reiser and Mollenda in 1990 or better known as the ADDIE model with the stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. While the technical analysis of the data used in the form of material expert validation sheets, design expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires.The results of this study are proven by the value of the validation results by material experts, namely 89% and the validation results by learning design experts, namely 86%. The value of the educators is 86% and the average value of the students' pre-test is 54.16 and the post-test score is 84.16. So it was concluded that the preparation of the Arabic-Indonesian pocket dictionary as a support for the Arabic book of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah was very feasible to use.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in elementary schools plays a crucial role in shaping the character of the younger generation based on the Qur'an and Hadith. However, there are still challenges in integrating children's rights values into the Islamic Education curriculum. This research discusses the importance of incorporating children's rights values in Islamic Education to build the character of a morally upright generation. The background is the need to raise awareness of children's rights in religious education. The purpose of this research is to understand how the PAI curriculum can integrate children's rights values and how this implementation can shape better student character. The research method involves analyzing the existing PAI curriculum, interviewing teachers and students, and observing teaching and learning activities. The results of this research indicate that incorporating children's rights values can enhance students' understanding of their rights and foster a more ethical character. Therefore, effective implementation strategies require an integrated curriculum, active learning methods, extracurricular activities, and the participation of parents and the community.

Abstract

The use of synthetic dyes as color enhancers or generators has caused various environmental and health problems. Plant tannin biomordants offer an alternative solution to address these issues. The sample used in this study were Cengkodok (M. malabathricum) plants that grow wild in places that get enough sunlight such as shrubs. Phytochemical screening on various parts of the cengkodok plant revealed that the highest tannin content is found in the leaf. However, until now there has been no scientific evidence that presents differences in tannin levels in cengkodok leaf with various types of solvents. This study aims to determine the yield and total tannin content of cengkodok leaf extract obtained through maceration process using methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate solvents. The extract yield was determined by comparing the weight of the dry extract with the powdered cengkodok leaf material. The total tannin content was analyzed using UV-Vis spectroscopy at a wavelength of 755.8 nm with Folin-Ciocalteu reagent and sodium carbonate. Tannic acid was used as a reference. The research results showed that the yield values for Cengkodok leaf extracted with methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate were 5.05%, 4.72%, and 1.59%, respectively. The total tannin content of cengkodok leaf extracts with methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate solvents was 0.47%±0.04, 0.37%±0.01, and 0.19%±0.04, respectively. Based on this research, it can be concluded that methanol is the most effective solvent in extraction and determination of total tannin content of Cengkodok leaf extracts.

Abstract

The use of metal mordants in fabric dyeing can harm the environment and health, so it is necessary to look for natural mordants that are more environmentally friendly. The utilization of Simpur Air leaves (Dillenia suffruticosa) as a biomordant is one of the efforts to produce a more environmentally friendly tannin mordant. D. suffruticosa has been reported to contain tannin compounds in all parts of the plant. However, scientific evidence of differences in the total tannin content of methanol extracts of D. suffruticosa leaves with various extraction methods have not been found so far. This study aims to determine the effect of different extraction methods on the yield value and total tannin content of methanol extracts of D.suffruticosa leaves using UV-Vis spectrophotometric method at a wavelength of 755.8 nm with Folin Ciocalteau reagent. D. suffruticosa leaves are extracted by using three methods, namely maceration, soxhletation and reflux. Tannic acid is used as a comparator. The results show that the yield value of D. suffruticosa leaves extracted by maceration, soxhletation and reflux methods were 8.35%; 12.26%; and 25.24%, respectively. The total tannin content of methanol extract of D. suffruticosa leaves with maceration method is 0.15% ± 0.007; soxhletation is 0.18% ± 0.007 and reflux is 0.21% ± 0.016.  Based on the results of the data analysis, the significance value <0.05 was obtained. It can be concluded that the extraction method affects the yield value and total tannin content of methanol extract of D. suffruticosa leaves.
