Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajarPassing Atas Melalui Gaya Mengajar Penemuan Terbimbing pada siswa kelas X SMANegeri 3 Kuala Nagan Raya tahun ajaran 20014/2015. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan padabulan April 2015. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dengan jumlah siswa 30orang yang terdiri dari 12 orang siswa laki-laki dan 18 orang siswa perempuan yang akandiberikan tindakan berupa gaya penemuan terbimbing pada pembelajaran Passing Atas BolaVoli.Berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dilakukan tes hasil belajar I dapat dilihatbahwa kemampuan awal siswa dalam melakukan teknik Passing Atas masih rendah. Dari 30orang siswa terdapat 20 orang (66%) yang telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan 10orang (33%) belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswaadalah 74,3. Sedangkan pada siklus II dapat dilihat bahwa kemampuan siswa dalammelakukan tes hasil belajar secara klasikal sudah meningkat. Dari 30 orang siswa terdapat 26orang (87%) yang telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan 4 orang (12%) belummencapai ketuntasan belajar. Dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 80,7, sehinggaterdapat kenaikan 25% hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II.Berdasarkan hal itu maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui gayamengajar Penemuan Terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Passing Atas pada siswakelas X SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Nagan Raya Tahun Ajaran 2014/ 2015.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in subjects Simple home electric lighting installation techniques, this is because the learning process is still teacher-centered. This study aims to reveal differences in student learning outcomes between jigsaw cooperative learning models with conventional models in subjects of simple home electric lighting installation techniques at SMK 1 Darul Kamal and to improve student learning outcomes. The research method used was Pre-Experiment with the research subjects of the 11th grade students of TITL SMKN 1 Darul Kamal consisting of 1 class, students were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. From the results of data analysis based on the results of the t-test shows that Ho is rejected based on the significance value <α = 5% or 0.05, in the column t-test for equality of means we see in the column "sig. 2 tailed "with Equal variances assumed, the variance similarity test was obtained that both control and experimental groups had the same variant. Value "sig. 2 tailed "that is: 0.00 then it can be decided that Ho is rejected because the sig value is 0.00 <α = 0.05, so it can be concluded at the significance level (α) = 5% the control group and the experimental group do not have the same average value. So that the truth is that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes of the experimental group using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model compared to the control group students who did not use the jigsaw cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan karakter kesantunan dengan memanfaatkan metode Active Debate. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan metode Active Debate dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan karakter kesantunan  peserta didik  kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 6 Yogyakarta tahun ajaran 2015-2016. Hal ini terbukti dari kenaikan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dari 60,64 menjadi 73,79 pada akhir siklus 1 dan menjadi 80,16 setelah siklus 2. Skor kesantunan pada kondisi awal 45,54 menjadi 65,14 pada akhir siklus 1dan menjadi 80,54 setelah siklus 2. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata 13,15 (21,99%) pada akhir siklus 1menjadi  6,37 (8,89%) pada akhir siklus 2 dengan kategori baik, dengan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 87,50%. Terjadi peningkatan sikap kesantunan dalam berpendapat pada siklus 1 dengan rata-rata  19,61 (48,29%) menjadi 15,40 (24,28%). Total peningkatan pada siklus 2 sebesar 35,01 (80,54%) dan skor tersebut telah mencapai kategori baik.Kata kunci: metode active debate, hasil belajar, karakter kesantunan THE USE OF THE ACTIVE DEBATE METHOD TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING OUTCOME AND  CHARACTER OF POLITENESS IN THE TEACHING CIVICS EDUCATION IN  SMPAbstractThis research was action research which was carried out in two cycles ams to determine of learning outcome and character politeness by utilizing the method of Active Debate. The subjects of this research were  VIII F students of SMPN 6 Yogyakarta. The analysis technique used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The result shows that the use of the Active Debate method in teaching Civics Education could improve the  learning outcome and the character of politeness of VIII F students of SMPN 6 Yogyakarta in 2015-2016. This was proven by: (1) The increase of the average score of learning outcomes in the initial condition after cycle 1 60.64 to become 73.79 and after cycle 2 to 80.16. The score of politeness character was 45.54 in the initial conditions and after cycle 1 it increased 65.14 and after cycle 2 to 80.54. There is an improvement in the students’ learning outcome with the average score of 13.15 ( 21.9%) in the first cycle and 6.37 ( 8.89%) in the second cycle, which is in a good category with the classical learning mastery of 87.50%. There is an improvement in students’politeness character in expressing opinions with the average score of 19.61( 48.29%) in the first cycle and 15.40 ( 24.28%) in the second cycle. The total improvement in the second cycle is 35.01 (80.54%) which is in a good category.Keywords: Active Debate method, learning outcome,  polite character

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of usingTransition Action Details Strategy to teach writing recount texts to the second yearstudents of “SMPN 1 Sungai Apit, Siak Regency” in Academic Year 2018/2019. Thisresearch was a pre experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design.The sample of this research was VIII.I which consisted of 26 students. The technique ofdata collecting is measurement, the tool of which a written tests. The mean score of pretestwas 61.40 and the mean score of post-test was 68.53. The data calculation showedthat the value of t-test was -1.672. The values of t table on the df (degree of freedom) 25is 2.060 with the level significance (α)=5%. Then, the t-test was large than the t-tableon significant level 5%. The level significance was -1.672 < 2.060. Thus, teachingwriting ability recount texts using TAD strategy to the second year students of “SMPN 1Sungai Apit, Siak Regency” in Academic Year 2018/2019 could be categorized as “noeffect”.Key Words: Transition Action Details Strategy, Recount Texts

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the mechanism, consideration, implementation, and dissemination of the principal decision-making through strategic management at Bandar Baru SMPN 1. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach, data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation study. Subjects were principals, vice-principals, and teachers. The results showed that: (1) The mechanism of decision-making is done by identifying activities problems, formulate goals, determine alternatives, determine solutions, and decision-making, (2) consideration in decision-making is done by consensus paths between teachers and employees, (3) Implementation of decision-making implemented through legalization, operational plans, and communication, and action, monitoring, review and evaluation, and (4) socialization of decisions implemented through an open explanation to the vice principal and carried out according to plan. Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of ROE, DER, and firm size on stock prices of the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data used in this study were panel data sourced from the combination of cross section data and time series data. This research used purposive sampling method with the sample consisted of 86 manufacturing companies listed on IDX in 2017. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that ROE and firm size had a positive and significant influence on stock price. However, DER did not have a significant influence on stock price. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the correlation between self-confidence and speaking ability of the second year students of English Study Program of Universitas Riau. The correlational research was used to find out the relationship between two variables. To collect the data in this research were speaking test and questionnaire. A cluster random sampling technique is used to determine the sample of the research. There were 34 students participating in this research. Oral performance was used to know the students' speaking ability and questionnaire was used to know students’ self-confidence. The result of the study shows that there was a correlation between two variables. The value of correlation coefficient was 0.349. it was on scale 0.20 – 0.399 it meant that the correlation between self-confidence and speaking ability of the second year students of English Study Program of Universitas Riau categorized as low correlation. In other words, there is other factors can influence students’ speaking ability. The finding could important distributions to both understand, self-confidence and speaking ability especially the relationship between the two variables.Key Words: Correlation, Self-Confidence, Speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at finding out whether or not there is a significant effect of using picture series as media in teaching writing of the third year students of MTS Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year 2018/2019 in writing narrative text. The research design is experimental research with one group pre-test– treatment – post-test design. The sample of the research was 30 students IX 5 chosen by using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by giving a writing test about a narrative text (pre-test and post-test) to the students. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed that the mean score of the posttest was higher than the mean score of the pretest (62.73 > 50.22). The value of the t-test was 7.65 while the value of the t-table in significance level of 5% df=23 is 2.069. Since the value of the t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that Alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was a significant effect of using picture series as media in teaching writing to the third year students of MTS Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. It is suggested that Picture Series is appropriate to be applied in teaching to improve students’ writing ability, especially in writing narrative texts as media.Key Words: Picture Series, Writing ability, Narrative Text

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the farmers income of palm oil farm in Lilimori village of Bulutaba Subdistrict of North Mamuju Regency. The research was conducted from May to July 2017. The sample was 31 respondents of palm oil farmers. The analysis method used income analysis research. The result of this research showed that the production income was 11,322,580 kg/2.38 ha/2 months or 4,757,386 kg/ha/2 months, the price of per kilogram was IDR 1,100, so that the revenue was IDR 12,454,838/2.38ha/2 months. Total cost was IDR. 5,608,354/2ha/2 months or 2.356.451/ha/two months, so the income earned by palm oil farmers in lilimori village was IDR 6,846,484/2.38ha/2 months or 2,876,674/ha/2 months.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1.) Keefektifan metode role playing untuk penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewargane-garaan; 2.) Keefektifan metode konvensional untuk penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan; dan 3.) Pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara kedua metode tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 peserta didik kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Yogyakarta (kelas eksperimen) dan 30 peserta didik kelas VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Yogyakarta (kelas kontrol), sehingga keseluruhan subjek berjumlah 62 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Uji validitas dengan expert judgement. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan uji MANOVA. Hasil analisis data dengan uji MANOVA menunjukkan bahwa: 1.) Metode role playing efektif untuk penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan melihat kelompok eksperimen sebelum percobaan, nilai T untuk prestasi 2,731 sig 0.005, nilai-nilai Pancasila T 6,069 sig 0,000; 2.) Metode konvensional efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasilal, nilai prestasi T 0,045 sig 0,482, nilai-nilai Pancasila T 4,12 sig 0.000; dan 3.) metode role playing lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional untuk penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan setelah melakukan pengujian dengan value 1,020, F 30.089, dan sig 0,000.AbstractThe research aims to describe: 1.) The effectiveness of the role playing method in inculcating the values of Pancasila in civic education teaching; 2.) The effectiveness of the conventional method in inculcating the values of Pancasila in civic education teaching; and 3.) The more effective one between the two methods. The subject of this reserch is 32 grade VIII B students of Junior High School 3 Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta City (the experimental class) and 30 grade VIII A students of Junior High School 4 Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta City (the control class). So that the whole subject amounted to 62 students. The instrument of data collection was aquestionnaire and tests. The expert judgemen was used to reveal the validity of the instruments. The data analysis used the descriptive analysis and Multivariate Analysis of Variance. The result of the data analysis based on MANOVA test shows that: 1.) The role playing method is effective to inculcate the values of Pancasila in civic education teaching in the experimental class before the treatment with the score of t-test for students’ achievement being 2.731 at the significance level of 0.005, for Pancasila 6.069 at the significance level of 0.000; 2.) The application of the conventional method is effective in inculcating the values of Pancasila in civic education teaching in which the score of t-test of students’ achievment was 0.045 at the significance level of 4.82 and for Pancasila was 4.12 at the significance level of 0.000; 3.) the application of the role playing method is more effective than the conventional method to inculcate the values of Pancasila in civic education teaching after the last was done, in which the score was 1.020, F was 30.089 at the significance level of 0.000.
