This study aims to determine the effect of online learning through WhatsApp on students' interest and learning outcomes in Biology at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. The method used in this research is a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The research sample was students of class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City, totaling 29 students. The results showed an effect before and after being given treatment using online learning via WhatsApp on the interests and learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. In conclusion, WhatsApp is effectively used as a medium in the online Biology teaching and learning process. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Interests, Online Learning, WhatsApp

This study aimed to investigate the potency of fish protein hydrolysates (FPH) of stripe trevally fish (Selaroides leptolepis) as antioxidant and ACE inhibitor. The FPH was produced through enzymatically hydrolysis using protease produced by Bacillus licheniformis, a collection of Research and Development Center for Marine and Fisheries Product Processing and Biotechnology (RDCMFPPB). The FPH was fractionated using ultrafiltration membranes with molecular weight cut off (MWCO) of 10, 5 and 3 kDa. The hydrolysis degree, protein content, peptide content, antioxidant activity and Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor were observed. The result showed that FPH had maximum hydrolysis degree of 63.91% reached after 6 hours hydrolysis with protein content of 27.43 mg/mL and peptide content of 223.32 mg/mL. That FPH showed antioxidant activity (IC50) of 1941.06 ppm and ACE inhibitor of 87.82% at test concentration of 10 mg/mL. In the ultrafiltration step, the higher molecular cut off used, the higher protein content and peptide content. The lower molecular weight of the hydrolysate, the better antioxidant and ACE inhibitor activity. The best fractionation that produce potential product to be used as anti-hypertension was in mixture peptides between 3-5 kDa. The IC50 antioxidant activity was 1336.96 ppm and percentage of ACE inhibitor was 97.15% % (with a concentration of 10 mg/mL). From the results, protein hydrolysate of stripe trevally fish produced by enzymatic hydrolysis using local protease was potential as a functional ingredient, particularly as antihypertensive agent.

Technology continuously facing the development requires a significant change for the community to master several competencies in using and utilizing various facilities in digital technology, including teachers as a component that plays a important role in education must be equipped with digital literacy. The purpose of this study was to obtain a digital literacy description of physics education students as preservice physics teacher in the first semester. This research was conducted using a descriptive method involving 80 first-semester physics education students at a university in Tasikmalaya. Data is collected by using tests and interviews. The instrument used was a valid and reliable digital literacy test as well as an interview guide. Data obtained is processed by determining the student score means and correlated with the results of the interview. The results showed that the mean of student’s digital literacy was 50 with a low category. Three digital literacy competency areas owned by students show that the mean literacy competency of information and digital data is 36 (low category), the mean of communication and collaboration competency is 68 (medium category), and the mean of digital content creation is 47 (low category).Â

Heat is a material that is close to everyday life. However, most students still have misconceptions about this material. Thus, teachers need to develop teaching materials that can reduce the misconception of heat material. One alternative is to use teaching materials with cognitive conflict strategies. The research aims to develop teaching materials that are able to reduce students' misconceptions about heat material. The development model used is the 4D model which consists of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The teaching materials developed include lesson plans, textbooks, student worksheets, and tests. The subjects of the study were seventh-grade students in Lamongan regency which consisted of 10 state junior high schools and private junior high schools. The research instrument was a feasibility test sheet for teaching materials and a questionnaire to see students’ responses. Data collection techniques used the feasibility sheet of teaching materials and questionnaires. Therefore, the result shows that cognitive conflict-based teaching materials are appropriate to be used classroom with a score between 3.0 and 3.9 and a reliability coefficient value of more than 90%.  and can reduce misconceptions with a percentage reduction in misunderstandings from 10 junior high schools in the Lamongan regency ranging from 30.3 to 47.8 percent.

This study aims to analyze the development of multimedia technology in physics learning based on the needs of the process and learning outcomes. This research is a literature review research. The research subjects consisted of ten journal articles selected from the Scopus Index database in the last five years. The results of data analysis show that learning physics with multimedia can stimulate students' learning abilities well. The trend of research development shows that the use of multimedia in physics learning in Indonesia is growing rapidly at this time. In addition, multimedia learning physics is more on the content of introduction to solid matter physics, earth and space science, multimedia learning physics, experimental physics, electricity, modern physics, introduction to core physics, and quantum physics. The conclusion obtained from this analysis is that the level of multimedia needs in physics learning in Indonesia is still very high

Salah satu keunikan masyarakat Minangkabau adalah budayanya yang religius, misalnya memasukkan nilai agama sebagai visi pengembangan budaya dan pembangunan. Budaya Minangkabau yang religius, anatara alain, terlihat dari falsafah adatnya adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah (ABS-SBK)/adat berdasarkan syarak, syarak berdasarkan kitab Allah.Problem dalam penelitian adalah adanya indikator bahwa beberapa KJKS tidak berjalan dengan baik, dan salah satu faktor kendalanya adalah Sumber Daya Manusianya yang kuran handal. Jika persoalan ini teratasi akan akan berdampak pada pekembangan koperasi secara lebih.

The most misconceptions in learning physics originate from the students themselves which include the students' initial concepts, associative and humanistic thinking, wrong intuition, the stages of students' cognitive development, and students' abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of heat misconception in junior high school students after learning by using the TGT cooperative learning model with cognitive conflict strategies. The research design used in this study is One group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection instrument was a misconception test in the form of a Three-tier Test totaling 20 questions. The results showed that before the treatment of the five junior high schools had an average percentage of misconceptions of 54.37%. After learning using the TGT cooperative learning model with cognitive conflict strategies the average percentage of students' misconceptions is 37.58%. Thus, there was a decrease in the percentage of misconceptions by 16.79%. The conclusion of this study is the TGT cooperative learning model with cognitive conflict strategies can reduce heat misconception in junior high school students in Lamongan District.

Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah merupakan bagian dari amal usaha Muhammadiyah yang berada di bawah naungan dan pembinaan Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah (PWM), hal ini berbeda dengan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah jenjang SD dan SMP yang pembinaannya dihendel oleh Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM). Dalam realitanya, pembinaan PWM terhadap SMA Muhammadiyah terkesan belum menunjukkan kontribusi yang besar, masalah ini tentu tidak terlepas dari strategi pimpinan dalam melakukan perekrutan guru. Berkaitan dengan itu, artikel ini ingin mendeskripsikan strategi pimpinan wilayah Muhammadiyah dalam melakukan perekrutan guru untuk SMA Muhammadiyah di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, analisis data digunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rekrutmen guru di SMA Muhammadiyah ialah melalui permohonan masing-masing kepala SMA kepada pimpinan wilayah daerah Muhammadiyah, kemudian dilakukan sosialisasi tentang kebutuhan formasi, dan dilanjutkan dengan penjaringan serta penjaringan. Namun, rekrutmen tanpa melalui prosedur tersebut masih terjadi sehingga Sumber Daya Manusia yang ada di SMA Muhammadiyah tidak selalu melalui sistem perekrutan yang ketat.

This research is based on the problems experienced in schools, namely the problems of the learning media used. This research uses a quasi-experimental form, namely a quasi-experimental design research and the design used is a non-equivalent control group design. This study was to determine the comparison of learning outcomes between classes using Focusky media and classes using PowerPoint media at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak in Mixed Separation SubMaterial and to know the impact of using Focusky Media on the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. The research sample was 57 students consisting of 28 students in class VII B, namely the control class and 29 students in class D, the experimental class. Based on the results obtained, the value of the experimental class is greater than the control class. For statistical analysis, the pretest data used a t-test and showed that there were still differences in the pretest results in the two classes with a sig. (2- tailed) value of 0.001 so that the N-Gain test was carried out, obtained a value of 0.48 and was in the medium category. The effect size value shows a value of 46, 78, the results are categorized as moderate so that Focusky media-assisted learning is efficient in increasing student learning outcomes.
