Abstract

This study aims to determine student competency achievement differences by applying an science student work sheet oriented learning model increased ability to think of the seventh grade students of SMPN 12 Padang. Type of research is Quasi-Experimental Research, with the study design Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class VII SMPN 12 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2016/2017. Sampling techniques was purposive sampling techniques and continued by random sampling technique. The research data was taken from the attainment of students in the second grade sample. Based on the hypothesis test for a third achievement of competence using the t test at the 0,05 significance level obtained by each competence (attitudes, knowledge, and skills) in sequence are 6.49, 3.01, and 4.57. While the  . These results show that  , then   rejected or   accepted. Abstract

Factors that cause the low learning outcomes of integrated science are learning model used. Factors that useful to improve the competence of attitude, knowledge and skills. The purposes of this study was to determine differences in the achievement of the integrated IPA competence of learners between guided  discovery learning model with a nuanced conventional scientific approach. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Research and design research that only randomized control group design. Population of this research was all students from grade VIII in junior high school 30 Padang registered on 2015/2016. Population based sampling technique is purposive sampling and cluster sampling. Data collection technique to aspects of knowledge that is a written test or tes objective, for the attitude aspects is the observation sheet and to aspects of that assessment skills to work. This study shows that control class. Thus the results of this study stated there are differences in the achievement of the integrated science competence among learners using guided discovery learning and nuances of the conventional scientific approach to grade VIII in junior high school 30 Padang

Abstract

This article is about the animated media influence on contextual teaching and learning against the competence of physics students of Class XI SCIENCE SMA 7 Negeri Sijunjung. Low competence of physics at SMA Negeri 7 Sijunjung occurs because the students had trouble understanding the concepts of physics that are abstract. Media animation is good media in conveying information that is abstract in the learning process, so it takes an approach that helps in delivering abstract information is becoming more real as contextual teaching and learning. Type of this research is quasi experiments research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research is seluruhnya of the grade XI SMA Negeri 7 Sijunjung listed on the school year 2013/2014, sampling techniques using Cluster Random Sampling. Both research class is equally contextual teaching and learning, given the treatment of the animation media is only given in the experimental class of sample 2. Research instrument is the written test for the cognitive aspect, the observation sheet for affective aspect of competence, and scoring rubrics for competency in psychomotor aspect. Influence happens views by using the test of similarity of two average followed by a simple regression test, and test the product-moment correlation on a real level of 0.05. The results showed that indeed the animated media affect the competence of physics students, affects in terms of a better direction. The influence of more high class experimental learning outcomes than the control class on a third aspect of assessment

Abstract

One of the factors that lead to low learning outcomes of students is the poor ability of learners in solving physics problems.This problem-solving skills can be improved through learning using the Creative Problem Solving model. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of applying creative problem-solving model to study physics competency achievement of learners.Type of the research is quasi experimental study design by randomized control group only design, The research population includes all students of class X MIA that registered in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016. Sampling technique was purposive sampling continued with cluster random sampling.  The research data is the grades of competence of knowledge, attitudes and skills of students.The research instrument was the ultimate test for measuring the competence of knowledge,observation sheets to measure competence of attitudes,performance assessment sheet to measure competence of skills. The research data analyzed by the equality test of two average and regression and correlation test. Equality test of two averages performed for the value of the learning outcomes of each competency of both class sample. Regression and correlation test performed to the value of learning outcomes of class knowledge experiment competence.Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value for the experimental class and the control class in a row on the competence of knowledge is 83.47 and 78.16, on the competence of the attitude that is 87.04 and the average value for the experimental class and the control class in a row on the competence of skillis 88,7 and 83,3. Data for the competence of knowledge, attitudes and skills of both classes of samples normally distributed and have homogeneous variances, so performed test the equality of two average by t. From the calculation results obtained t value for competence and knowledge are 2.773 t table = 2.00; on the competence acquired attitude t ie 7.1911 and t table = 2.00; and the competence acquired skills t are 4.189 and t table = 2.00. The degree of correlation value of creative problem-solving model to value knowledge competency is moderate, and the influence of the model of 31.10%. Abstract

Learning model that is less engaging students in the learning process and the low reading interest of students make the learning process runs less effective. It is characterized by student learning outcomes that are lower than the expected maximum graduation criteria. To overcome these problems, the use of media images on brochures learning model applied in problem based learning. The Type of this research is quasi experiment  with design is randomized control group only. Population of this research is all class XI MIA  who registered in the 1st half 2014/2015 academic year. Samples were taken at random cluster sampling technique. The research instrument are the ultimate test for cognitive, observation format, self assessment sheet and peer assessment sheet for affective domain of learning outcomes, and performance assessment rubric and portofolio assessment sheet for psychomotor learning outcomes. The results showed that the average outcomes of learning physics class experiment better than the control class for the third domain of the real level of 0.05. This indicates that the picture effectively used to improve student learning outcomes physics

Abstract

One cause of low achievement IPA competence of learners is the lack of use of teaching materials with the essence of integrity of the material in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. As an alternative solution to overcome these problems is needed teaching materials that includes the integration of materials with integrated learning oriented. The purpose of this study to investigate the effect of the use of teaching materials handout integrated learning oriented towards achievement of competencies type of integrated science class VII students of SMPN 31 Padang. This type of research design Quasi Experiment with Randomized Control Group Only Design. This study population of students of class VII SMPN 31 Padang enrolled in the second semester of the school year of 2015/2016 with a random cluster sampling technique. In this study, the competence of the attitude measured using observation sheets, competency knowledge using written tests and competency skills are measured using a portfolio assessment. Based on research activities that have been implemented, the data obtained attainment of learners on three competence. The average value of achievement of competence attitudes and competence skills of the experimental class is bigger than the control class, where the average value in the attainment of knowledge of the control class higher than the experimental class. The results of data analysis research conducted at the level of 95% was concluded that there was no effect of the use of integrated learning handout oriented towards achievement of competencies type of integrated science class VII students of SMPN 31 Padang

Abstract

Science learning should be do in process approach because science is not only the collection of fact but also process of discovery, so in the learning have to directed to application of the scientific method. An alternatif solution to solve this problem was to apply the student worksheet based POE (Predict, Observe and Explain). The purpose of this research was to find the effect of application student worksheet based POE in sciences learning the competence of students class VII SMPN 5 Padang. Type of this research was the quasi experiment with randomized control group only design. The population in this research were the students grade VII SMP 5 Padang who were registered in the 2014/2015 academic year. Sampling technique  was cluster random  sampling. Instruments of this research are test sheets of  learning  outcomes  for competence of cognitive, observation sheets for competence of attitudes, and skills assessment sheet for competence of skills.  The data of  three competences was analyzed and tried hypothesis use the chi squared. The result of hipotesys test for competence of cognitive, attitude and skill are x2count ≤ x2table at significance level 0,05 and dk 1 . Thus, it can be concluded that application student worksheet based POE in sciences learning the competence of students class VII SMPN 5 Padang give not signifikan effect

Abstract

Thinking critically is needed in solving problem or finding solution. The background of this research is still lack students worksheet that can develop the ability of the student’s critical thinking. Scientific approach can help the students to build the knowledge through this scientific method. The solution to solve this problem is use a worksheet that can practice the ability of a student’s thinking. The purpose of this research is to observe the effect of application worksheet nuanced critical thinking skill in scientific approach to the learning outcomes of Physics students grade X at SMAN 2 Padang. The population of this research is all students Xth grade at SMAN 2 Padang in academic year 2015/2016. Sampling by purposive sampling technique. Data of this research includes student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Research instrument are written test, evaluation sheets and sheet performance attitude. Based on the analysis data obtained on average student learning outcomes of experiments class on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor is 80,49; 78.71; and 79.29. The result of this research that there is a significant influence of the application worksheet nuanced critical thinking skill in scientific approach to the learning outcomes of Physics students grade X at SMAN 2 Padang

Abstract

Competences that must achieved by student based on 2013 curriculum are attitude, knowledge and skills. Unfortunately , learning process conducted at school is not totally covered these competence yet. The purpose of the research is to investigate the influence of student worksheets contain of comprehensive intelligence in Problem Based Instruction model towards the physic competence students in class X of MAN 2 Padang on the spiritual attitude, emotional and social attitude, knowledge and skills. The type of this research is Pre Experimental Design with One Shoot Case Study. The population of the research is all of student in class X MIA MAN 2 Padang that registered on the 2016/2017 period. Sampling purposive technique used to get the sample. Sample in this research is class X of MIA 2. Research instrument in the form of a final test for knowledge competence, observation sheets for attitude competence and performance sheet for skill competence. Based on the data analysis, the average value for of spiritual attitude is 78,35, competence of emotional and social is 78,38, competence of skill is 79,26 and competence of knowledge for before and after treatment are 51,39 dan 75,14 respectirely. Competence of knowledge data obtained using t-test berkorelasi which is tcaunt is 13,14 and ttable is 1,70 at 5% significance level of the left side test. In conclution, the student worksheet that contained  comprehensive intelligence can strengthen skills and understanding of students to that physics competence of student can be increased

Abstract

This research is motivated not optimal learning activities of students. Learning activities have not been able to improve the ability of learners to be able to think independently, so that learning becomes meaningful. This research aimed to investigate the differences of learners using experiments based learning and physics modeling based learning in setting the scientific approach. This research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of randomized control group design only.Sampling used purposive sampling technique. Results of research on the experimental class 1 gained an average of competence knowledge = 75.75 and the experimental class 2 = 70.84, competence experimental attitude in class 1 = 84.94 and the experimental class 2 = 81.69, competency skills in experimental class 1 = 84.25 and the experimental class 2 = 81.50. After t test for second grade sample on the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills respectively 10.97, 7.39, 4.23 greater than the table = 1.66. It can be concluded that the working hypothesis which says "There is a significant difference between the use of learner competence-based learning and learning experimental physics-based modeling in setting the scientific approach in Senior High School grade X” the real level 0,05
