Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of democratic leadership in managing student discipline at the Babussalam Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that democratic leadership in Islamic boarding schools facilitates the active participation of students in the decision-making process regarding disciplinary policies. Open discussions, deliberations and participatory meetings provide a forum where students can voice their opinions and ideas. In addition, this research identifies the impact of implementing democratic leadership where students show an increase in compliance with the rules created together. They feel more responsible for their self-discipline and feel valued by the Islamic boarding school environment. However, there are also obstacles, such as differences in interpretations of Islamic values ​​and challenges in maintaining a balance between students' autonomy and collective discipline. Thus, this research makes an essential contribution to understanding the practice of democratic leadership at the Babussalam Islamic boarding school and describes its impact on the character formation and discipline of the students. The implications of the results of this research highlight the importance of maintaining traditional values ​​while introducing a participatory approach that is in line with the demands of the times, creating an educational environment that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of students, and enriching the discourse on Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic boarding schools in promoting entrepreneurship towards the economic independence of the people in the D.I Yogyakarta region. The research method used is literature review by collecting data and information related to Islamic boarding schools with economic independence and santripreneurship through supporting data sourced from national research journals, newspapers, websites, direct interviews with research objects, and social media. The results of the study show that there is support from the government and non-governmental organizations in mobilizing entrepreneurial pesantren, various pesantren have great potential in promoting entrepreneurship with various activities, the role of santri becomes capital in fulfilling the entrepreneurial spirit of pesantren, and pesantren in the DI Yogyakarta region make a positive and empowered contribution for economic independence. people.

Abstract

Even though the government stipulates that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is carried out in stages according to the readiness of each school, as one of the strategic national education policies, all schools are directed to be able to implement this curriculum. Based on initial observations, it was found that SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang City needed training related to the Independent Curriculum as a form of preparation and to strengthen the competence of teachers. This is because even though they already know how to prepare teaching modules, they still find it difficult to design innovative teaching modules. To face this challenge, training and assistance are needed to strengthen understanding of the paradigm regarding the Independent Curriculum, which is integrated into the 21st-century learning paradigm and learning tools. This service aims to provide training and assistance in preparing the Independent Curriculum Teaching Module for teachers at Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Middle School, Malang City. The service uses a 4-stage creative process method: preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. Based on the activities that have been carried out, one of the problems in the preparation was found, namely a knowledge deficit regarding various innovative learning designs and their implementation in the form of learning designs contained in teaching modules. Satisfying results were obtained through intensive training and mentoring. Teachers can create modules that meet minimum criteria and integrate innovative learning designs.

Abstract

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an increasingly important field in the current era of digital transformation. Artificial Intelligence (AI), is a technology designed to make computer systems able to imitate human intellectual abilities. Artificial intelligence (AI) allows computers to learn from experience, identify patterns, make decisions, and complete complex tasks quickly and efficiently. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is able to connect every device, so that someone can automate all devices without having to be on site. More than that, currently there are many machines that can interpret certain conditions or events with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The processes that occur in Artificial Intelligence (AI) include learning, reasoning, and self-correction. The implementation of AI in human workmanship is to obtain optimal performance results with fast processing times and maximum results. In today's modern era, artificial intelligence (AI) is very necessary to make activities easier, especially in rural areas. So that the village becomes a modern village and is more advanced with today's technology. Therefore, this Community Service was carried out in Cisadane Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. In obtaining the data used were observation and literature study. This service activity is an effort to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and teaching activities in Cisadane Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This effort was motivated by the lack of implementation and lack of human resources in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Cisadane Gorontalo Village, which resulted in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Cisadane Gorontalo Village not being optimal. As a form of the author's thinking, several efforts and breakthroughs are offered, namely; 1.) The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the people of Cisadane Village in creating a modern and technology-literate Village, by making all activities in the village easier. 2.) Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found that after Khatam Al-Qur'an usually children rarely repeat reading the Qur'an either at home, mosque or prayer room. Then some parents payless attention to their children in terms of reading the Qur'an. And also some parents do not provide an example in reading the Qur'an to their children. This type of research is a field research, namely qualitative research in which researchers observe and participate directly in the location where the data is located, whose data is obtained directly from the person being studied. The data collection techniques in this study were observation and interviews, the data analysistechnique used was data reduction which selected the data first, after that display the data whichafter the data was selected, summarized and concluded and presented, then data verification,namely drawing conclusions from the data collected. has been analyzed, and the validity of the data technique used is by comparing the data from observations with data from interviews. Based on the results of the research that the author did, it is known that the strategy taken by parents to get their children to read the Qur'an after finishing the Qur'an is to pay attention to the child's ability to read the Qur'an, provide rules in read the Koran to children, then provide discipline in reading the Koran to children, then also give gifts when children are diligent in reading the Koran and give punishment when children are lazy to read the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the morals of school dropouts in various forms. The morals of these school dropouts are commendable and some have despicable characters, not all school dropouts have despicable morals, but there are also commendable ones. Out-of-school children certainly do not get a full education so dropouts have despicable morals such as: being dishonest, likes to lie, talk rudely, and are also easily influenced by the outside environment which makes dropout children like to steal otherpeople's things. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the morals of school dropouts in Jorong Balai Cubadak Nagari Taram, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency so that the morals of dropouts have noble character. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. In collecting data, the writer uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, to analyze it, the researcher took several steps, namely data reduction, presenting data, and drawingconclusions. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the factors that influence the morals of school dropouts in Jorong Balai Cubadak are instinct, innate or inherited, environment, habits, will, and education. A bad environment will affect the morals of school dropouts to behave despicably and if the innate or inherited parents have good morals, the morals of dropout children will have noble character.

Abstract

When it comes to teaching and learning English, teachers and students face several challenges, particularly in terms of fatigue and uncertainty. As a result of this situation, English teachers must emphasize their concerns about using appropriate resources in English subjects in schools and colleges, such as using online learning resources to increase students' motivation to learn EFL. This present study is aimed at: (1) exploring the teaching materials, media, methods, strategies, teaching procedures/learning activities, and the assessments used in online learning resources to increase students’ motivation in EFL learning, and (2) investigating information in terms of students’ motivation documented with literature data serving as the primary source of information. While, the type of research was content analysis. The results show that through the use of relevant and engaging content, combined with technology-based tools and a student-centered approach, a dynamic learning environment is created. Therefore, the adaptability of assessments and learning activities to students' needs further supports their language development, fostering motivation and achievement in English language learning. Overall, a holistic approach that integrates these elements proves to be highly effective in promoting English proficiency through online resources.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, leverage terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sector konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 192 sampel. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, pemilihan model, analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinansi (r2) dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress, Likuiditas berpengaruh positif pada financial distress, dan Leverage berpengaruh negative pada financial distress.

Abstract

The process of character building by focusing on the use of hadih maja expressions with the aim that the younger generation is able to master the Indatu language which has been eroded by the times and is even now slowly disappearing, so from this explanation what we want to find out. maja at Junior High School in Samudera District, North Aceh Regency. To get the results of the study, the researcher used a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. From the explanation that the authors get from the results of the study, it shows that in an effort to build the character of Islamic Religious Education teacher students at SMP Kecemat Samudra, the researchers have not shown the expectations of the researchers, the average teacher never uses Maja's expression in coaching. The process of forming student character, even unfortunately many teachers do not understand the gift. so on this basis it must be learned by the teacher so that this language is not lost in time

Abstract

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services have gained significant popularity among Indonesian customers, particularly within the younger demographic that values convenience and flexibility in online shopping. This research uses a qualitative approach to examine the applications of Islamic law on the utilization of BNPL inside digital transactions in Indonesia, while also assessing its effects on consumer behavior and economic stability. The findings indicate that although Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) provides ease and accessibility for consumers, substantial obstacles exist in aligning this practice with maqāṣid sharia principles, especially with usury and consumer protection issues. Factors such as financial literacy, governmental laws, and product transparency significantly impact the adoption of BNPL, shaping customer comprehension and utilization of these services. Islamic financial institutions bear a significant obligation to deliver several itemsthat not only meet the demands of consumers but also sharia compliance.
