Abstract

Problems identified by teachers during the learning process in class II of SD Inpres Palupi. Students show a low level of activity in the learning process, which can be attributed to the lack of learning facilities available in the classroom, such as textbooks, as well as limitations in the use of teaching aids or learning media by teachers. In the implementation of the teaching and learning process in Class II of SD Inpres Palupi, there are indications that most of the students show a low level of activity. This is due to the lack of use of media, including visual media, which has implications for students' lack of understanding of the explanations given by the teacher). This study focused on grade 2 students of SD Inpres Palupi, with a total of 28 participants from SD Inpres Palupi. The results obtained showed that at the average level of pre-action, cycle 1 had an increase of 9.09%, while from cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was an increase of 36.36%. This shows an increase in the use of the picture method in the teaching of mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media alphabet flipchart terhadap kemampuan literasi anak usia 5-6 tahun di taman kanak-kanak. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dan Desain Nonequivalent Control Grup Design, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 68 anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 anak dengan pembagian 14 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 14 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. Setelah pemberian perlakuan, dilakukan uji Wilcoxon sign rank menggunakan (2-tailed) α < 0,05 berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media alphabet flipchart yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the serial picture storytelling method on the expressive language abilities of children aged 4-5 years at Nobel Playgroup & Kindergarten. The research approach used in this research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental Design type of research. The population in this study were children aged 4-5 years at Nobel Playgroup & Kindergarten. Sampling in this research used purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 20 people, 10 children in the experimental group, 10 children in the control group. Data collection techniques in this research are documentation, tests and observation. The data analysis technique in this research consists of descriptive statistical tests and the Wilcoxon sign rank test. Based on the research results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test, a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.005 < 0.05 was obtained, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, namely that there was a difference in the average level of expressive language abilities of children aged 4-5 years at Nobel Playgroup & Kindergarten. From the results of descriptive statistical tests, it can be proven that the research hypothesis that has been formulated is that if there is a difference in the average expressive language abilities of children aged 4-5 years, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the serial picture storytelling method on the expressive language abilities of children aged 4-5 years. at Nobel Playgroup & Kindergarten

Abstract

This research is an experimental study, which aims to examine whether or not there is an influence of chain message game on the listening skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia in Makassar City. The independent variable in this research is a chain message game, while the dependent variable is listening skills. This research design employed Quasi Experimental Design. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, tests, and documentation. The research sample were 30 children, who consisted of 15 children of B2 in the experimental group and 15 children of B4 in the control group. Research data were obtained by giving learning outcome tests on learning material which related to children's listening skills in forms of pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed by using descriptive data analysis techniques and non-parametric statistical analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the chain message game on the listening skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia in Makassar City.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of storytelling activities using Big Book media on the listening abilities of children aged 4-5 years at Telkom Makassar Kindergarten. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in the study was Telkom Kindergarten students totaling 30 children. Sampling in this research used purposive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 20 children divided into 10 control groups and 10 experimental groups, and the data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the listening ability of children using big book media in the experimental group was better than the control group. The results of the analysis showed an average increase in the experimental group of 20.90%, while in the control group it was 13.70% and the test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) 0.06 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Hₗ is accepted. So, big book media has a significant influence on the listening ability of children aged 4-5 years at Telkom Makassar Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) determine the fine motor skills of group A children before and after being given treatment in the form of finger painting activities at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia Kindergarten, Makassar City; 2) determine the application of finger painting activities to the development of fine motor skills in children at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia Kindergarten, Makassar City; 3) determine the effect of finger painting on the development of fine motor skills in children at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia Kindergarten, Makassar City. The research design uses Quasi Experimental Design. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, tests and documentation. The subjects in this study were 10 people in the control group and 10 people in the experimental group. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence in providing finger painting activities on improving the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bahagia Kindergarten, Makassar City, with the results showing that the value obtained from coloring activities for the control class is Asymp 0.102 . The results of the calculation of finger painting activities for the experimental class obtained an Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.005<0.05.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Pembelajaran konvensional yang cenderung satu arah membuat siswa kurang aktif dan terbatas dalam mengonstruksi pemahaman konsep secara mandiri.Salah satu alternatif solusi adalah pemanfaatan media pembelajaran inovatif, seperti media puzzle, yang berpotensi meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui aktivitas manipulatif dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media puzzle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 39 Kajai Pisik Kabupaten Agam, menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media puzzle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest–posttest control group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD di Gugus VI Kecamatan Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.Sampel dipilih secara acak, yaitu kelas V SD Negeri 39 Kajai Pisik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V SD Negeri 44 Padang Mardani sebagai kelas kontrol.Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji t dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis dan uji korelasi Pearson dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009 < 0,05 untuk hasil belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media puzzle efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of SWOT analysis in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 11 Balikpapan. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study focused on identifying internal and external factors affecting school quality improvement through the SWOT approach, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results showed that SMP Negeri 11 Balikpapan is positioned in Quadrant I of the SWOT matrix, indicating that the school has strong internal conditions and significant external opportunities. The main strengths of the school include competent teachers, supportive school management, adequate facilities, and positive school culture. Meanwhile, external opportunities are reflected in government support, technological development in education, and strong community trust in the school. The study recommends the implementation of aggressive growth strategies through strengthening educational quality, improving teacher competencies, developing technology-based learning innovations, and enhancing collaboration with educational stakeholders. The findings indicate that SWOT analysis can be effectively used as a strategic tool in formulating sustainable educational quality improvement policies and strengthening school competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Basic Education Data System (DAPODIK) in educational data management at SD Negeri 010 Balikpapan Selatan using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) approach. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants included the principal, school operators, teachers, and administrative staff. The results showed that the implementation of DAPODIK provides several strengths, including centralized data management, improved efficiency in digital-based administration, integration with the national education system, and support for data-driven decision-making. In addition, DAPODIK facilitates reporting processes and synchronization of educational data. However, the implementation still faces several weaknesses, such as dependence on internet connectivity, central server disruptions, student data validation problems, and a high dependence on the competence of school operators. Opportunities for DAPODIK development are supported by government policies on educational digitalization, operator training programs, and increasingly integrated educational information systems. Meanwhile, the threats identified include risks of national system disruptions, power outages, server overload during peak periods, and rapid policy changes related to the system. Based on the SWOT analysis, the implementation of DAPODIK at SD Negeri 010 Balikpapan Selatan is considered effective in supporting educational data management, although improvements in infrastructure and human resource capacity are still needed to optimize its implementation.

Abstract

This research examines the practice of digitization of Malay cultural heritage by communities in Palembang, through the perspective of Max Weber's value rationality (Wertrationalit&auml;t). In the context of globalization and digital transformation, digitization is not solely seen as a technical preservation effort, but also as a way to express cultural values and strengthen collective identity. This research aims to: 1) Examine the value-based motivation in the practice of digitization of Malay cultural heritage. 2) Analyse the forms of action that reflect value rationality in cultural preservation through digital media; 3) Explain the relationship between digital literacy and commitment to Malay cultural preservation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews and documentation of cultural digitization activities such as Jawi manuscripts, poems, and oral traditions. The results show that acts of cultural preservation are carried out based on a commitment to moral values and ancestral heritage, not for material gain. Digitalization is understood as a means of affirming Malay identity and transmitting cultural values to the younger generation through digital media. In addition, the digital literacy that develops in the cultural preservation community reflects a critical understanding of cultural content and meaning, not just technical skills. The findings enrich interdisciplinary studies between cultural sociology, information studies, and digital literacy and offer strategic recommendations for cultural actors and digital platform developers in designing value-based cultural preservation.
