Abstract

This paper develops the Empower Finance Framework, a conceptual model that positions financial decisions as instruments of empowerment and sustainability. The study aims to explain how financial choices shape individual capability, autonomy, adaptive behavior, and long term resilience. The research applies a structured qualitative analytical method consisting of conceptual analysis, model construction, analytical mapping, and interpretative evaluation. The framework integrates financial decision pathways, empowerment mechanisms, sustainability patterns, and contextual moderating factors. The results show that financial decisions operate through cyclical processes that generate capability enhancement, strengthen decision autonomy, and reinforce adaptive financial strategies. These mechanisms accumulate over time, producing sustainability outcomes such as financial stability, responsible behavior, and community level resilience. The discussion highlights that sustainable outcomes emerge not only from financial access but from empowered behavioral processes supported by conducive contextual conditions. The study concludes that the framework offers a comprehensive analytical tool for designing financial education programs, empowerment interventions, and policy initiatives aimed at improving financial well being. Recommendations for future research include empirical testing of the model and the exploration of contextual variations across different populations.

Abstract

Hospitalisasi merupakan kondisi ketika anak harus menjalani perawatan dan terapi di lingkungan rumah sakit yang sering kali memicu kecemasan akibat lingkungan baru, prosedur medis, perpisahan dari orang tua, serta keterbatasan beraktivitas. Situasi tersebut dapat menimbulkan respon maladaptif pada anak, seperti rasa cemas dan takut. Terapi bermain clay sebagai bentuk constructive play menjadi salah satu intervensi yang dapat membantu anak mengekspresikan perasaan, meningkatkan motorik halus, serta memberikan efek relaksasi. Namun, sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya menekankan kepada efek terapi bermain secara umum, sehingga penerapan terapi bermain clay diperlukan kajian untuk mengatasi kecemasan pada anak prasekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi respon kecemasan anak sebelum dan sesudah penerapan terapi bermain clay akibat hospitalisasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, pemberian intervensi, dan pengukuran kecemasan menggunakan Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS). Empat anak usia prasekolah dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Intervensi diberikan selama tiga hari berturut-turut, masing-masing 15-20 menit. Dua anak (An. S dan An. A) menerima terapi bermain clay berbahan dasar foodgrade, sedangkan dua lainnya (An. M dan An. N) mendapatkan terapi bermain dasar berupa video edukatif dan bermain boneka. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan kecemasan signifikan pada anak yang menerima terapi bermain clay, dengan skor An. S dari 36 menjadi 14 dan An. A dari 38 menjadi 15 dengan kategori tidak ada kecemasan. Sebaliknya, anak yang tidak menerima terapi clay masih menunjukkan kecemasan ringan pada hari ketiga. Penulis menyarankan terapi bermain clay dapat diaplikasikan sebagai salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis untuk menurunkan kecemasan anak selama perawatan guna meningkatkan pelayanan keperawatan anak yang holistik.

Abstract

Demam adalah peningkatan suhu tubuh di atas normal yang memerlukan penanganan segera untuk mencegah ketidaknyamanan, dehidrasi, dan risiko kejang pada anak-anak. Demam dapat diobati secara farmakologis dengan antipiretik atau secara non-farmakologis melalui kompres. Salah satu alternatif alami adalah kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller, yang menurunkan suhu melalui vasodilatasi dan pendinginan alami kulit. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perawatan keperawatan menggunakan terapi kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller pada anak-anak dengan demam. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan. Intervensi melibatkan empat responden, dua di antaranya menerima kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller sebagai intervensi inovatif, dan dua lainnya menerima kompres air biasa sebagai perawatan standar. Kompres diterapkan selama 15–20 menit sekali sehari selama tiga hari berturut-turut pada dahi dan ketiak. Suhu tubuh diukur dengan termometer digital sebelum dan setelah setiap intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller menurunkan suhu tubuh rata-rata sebesar 1,5°C, sementara kompres air biasa menunjukkan penurunan rata-rata sebesar 0,9°C. Ketika dikombinasikan dengan antipiretik pada suhu tubuh di bawah 38°C, kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller menurunkan suhu di bawah rentang normal (36,2°C–36,1°C). Oleh karena itu, pada kasus demam ringan di bawah 38°C, kompres Aloe barbadensis Miller direkomendasikan tanpa obat penurun demam, karena kompres ini secara efektif menurunkan suhu tubuh secara bertahap. Berdasarkan hasil, intervensi ini menunjukkan potensi sebagai intervensi keperawatan mandiri dalam pengelolaan demam pada anak-anak.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive learning media called Wordwall based on the Total Physical Response (TPR) method for teaching English to fourth-grade elementary school students. The study was motivated by the limited use of digital and kinesthetic-based media in English learning, which often causes students to become passive and less engaged. The development model used was the 4D model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Validation was conducted by three experts material, language, and media with an average validity score of 96.2%, categorized as very valid. Practicality tests involving one-to-one and small group evaluations obtained an average score of 95.9%, while the field test showed an N-Gain value of 0.86 or 86.5%, categorized as high effectiveness. The findings indicate that the Wordwall-based TPR media is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ vocabulary mastery and learning engagement. This integration of digital and kinesthetic learning fosters active participation, enhances motivation, and creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere in English classes.

Abstract

The development of language skills in early childhood usually takes place gradually and naturally starting from infancy to school age. Language development in early childhood can be influenced by biological and environmental factors. This study aims to determine the description of English vocabulary mastery in the experimental group before and after the application of the TPR method and to find out the description of English vocabulary mastery in the control group before and after conventional learning. This study uses a quasi-experimental design method with a pretest-posttest control group design model. The type of research design used is in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, with two research groups, namely the experimental group receiving treatment and the control group. This study uses data collection methods, including observation and documentation. The data analysis process aims to test the hypotheses proposed in this study. For this reason, statistical analysis techniques that are relevant to the research variables are used. This stage of data analysis is taken through: descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis. The results showed that the initial ability to master early childhood English vocabulary in the experimental group before being given treatment was still at a relatively low level. After learning was applied using the Total Physical Response method, there was a significant increase in English vocabulary skills in the experimental group. This increase is evident both from the results of descriptive analysis and the results of statistical tests, where the average post-test score increases markedly compared to the pre-test score. This shows that the TPR method is able to help children understand and remember vocabulary more effectively.

Abstract

Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy is one of the non formal educational institutions dedicated to students and has instilled Islamic values, discipline, and leadership in every learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe the branding image strategy applied at Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy, identify the factors that affect the formation of the institution's image in the community, Analyze The Influence of Branding Image on the Level of Public Trust. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The results of the study are that the branding image of the pondok appears in four main dimensions: (1) value branding, through the cultivation of sincerity, discipline, simplicity, and leadership; (2) visual and symbolic identity, through sharia uniforms, institutional attributes, and religious spatial planning; (3) flagship programs as core products, such as tahfidz, the yellow book, foreign language habituation, and leadership coaching; and (4) relational branding, through active involvement in the socio religious activities of the community. Optimizing the branding image of Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy contributes significantly to building and maintaining public trust, as well as becoming a relevant image management model for other Islamic based non formal educational institutions.

Abstract

Mental health services in Indonesia face challenges related to accessibility, the availability of professional personnel, and the unequal distribution of facilities. These service disparities have become increasingly evident, as individuals with mental disorders (IMDs) often receive the least attention or are even neglected. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of services for individuals with mental disorders at the Bina Laras Mutmainnah Social Service Center, Central Lombok. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 20 statements based on six indicators: service quality, service satisfaction, service outcomes, improvement of social functioning, improvement of quality of life, and reduction of mental disorder symptoms. The results indicate that the effectiveness of social services for individuals with mental disorders at PPSBL Mutmainnah is categorized as very effective, with an overall achievement of 86.95% of the ideal total score. The highest score was obtained in the service satisfaction indicator (91.50%), while the lowest score was found in the service outcomes indicator (80.80%). Nevertheless, all indicators remained within the effective category. This study presents novelty through the use of six integrated indicators and the direct involvement of service beneficiaries as the main respondents, resulting in findings that are more authentic and contextually grounded.   Pelayanan kesehatan jiwa di Indonesia menghadapi kendala dari segi aksesibilitas, ketersediaan tenaga profesional, serta fasilitas yang belum merata. Ketimpangan layanan ini menjadi semakin nyata dimana ODGJ sering kali mendapatkan perhatian terakhir atau bahkan diabaikan. Tjuan penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui Efektivitas Layanan Orang dengan Gangguan Jiwa di Pusat Pelayanan Sosial Bina Laras Mutmainnah Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup skala Likert yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan berdasarkan enam indikator: kualitas layanan, kepuasan layanan, hasil layanan, peningkatan fungsi sosial, peningkatan kualitas hidup, dan pengurangan gejala gangguan jiwa. Hasil penelitiannya adalah Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas layanan sosial bagi ODGJ di PPSBL Mutmainnah tergolong sangat efektif dengan capaian keseluruhan sebesar 86,95% dari total skor ideal. Indikator dengan nilai tertinggi adalah kepuasan layanan (91,50%), sedangkan nilai terendah terdapat pada indikator hasil layanan (80,80%), namun seluruh indikator tetap berada dalam kategori efektif. Penelitian ini menghadirkan kebaruan melalui penggunaan enam indikator terintegrasi serta keterlibatan langsung penerima manfaat sebagai responden utama, sehingga menghasilkan temuan yang lebih autentik dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Purpose – Early childhood literacy serves as a vital foundation for academic success, yet traditional teaching methods often struggle to maintain engagement and clarity in letter recognition. This study investigates the influence of animation media on children’s conceptual understanding of letters, specifically focusing on visual shapes, names, and phonemic sounds. Design/Methodology/Approach – The research employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving children aged 4–6 years. Data were collected through quantitative letter recognition tests and qualitative teacher observations and questionnaires. The study utilized data triangulation—combining performance scores with behavioral observations—to ensure a comprehensive analysis of the media's impact. Findings – The findings indicate a significant improvement in early literacy skills following the intervention. Before the treatment, children demonstrated low baseline scores, particularly in distinguishing mirror-image letters (e.g., b–d, p–q) and consistent phonetic naming. After learning through animation media, children showed a marked increase in visual recognition accuracy and verbal confidence. Qualitative data revealed that the classroom atmosphere became more conducive to learning, with children showing higher levels of enthusiasm and sustained attention compared to conventional methods. Originality/Value – The results demonstrate that animation media effectively bridges the gap between abstract symbols and concrete cognitive understanding by providing multisensory stimulation. Unlike generic entertainment content, the structured instructional design of the media used in this study successfully balanced digital engagement with pedagogical goals. This study concludes that animation media is a feasible, relevant, and effective tool for early childhood education, serving as a practical reference for educators to modernize literacy instruction.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to (1) find out the description of vocabulary ability in the control group and the experimental group before and after treatment in the study of the influence of picture card games and to find out if there is a significant difference in vocabulary development in the children of the experimental group and the control group who have participated in the activity. Design/Methodology/Approach – This type of research uses a quantitative quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection techniques are in the form of vocabulary tests (pre-test and post-test), observation of children's activities while playing drawing cards, and documentation (photos of activities, teachers' diaries). Data analysis techniques consist of; (a) Normality test, (b) Homogeneity test, (c) Hypothesis test. Findings – The results of the study showed that  the learning method of picture card games was carried out with 4 treatment activities using picture card media which was made and then played by children in stimulating the visual vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years., the visual skills of children aged 5-6 years showed significant changes in children's visual abilities, before and after being given learning with pretest picture card media, obtained an average score of 9.6 while from the post-test results obtained an average score of 10.8., there was a significant influence on the vocabulary learning method with picture card media on the visual ability of children aged 5-6 years, this was shown based on the results  of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test. Originality/Value –This research provides alternative vocabulary learning media that is fun and effective, improves language skills in a more natural and fun way, and is a reference for further research on game-based learning media.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi khususnya di bidang informasi dan komunikasi telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap produktifitas dan efisiensi kerja administrasi perkantoran. Proses pengolahan dokumen dan data hingga penyajiannya dalam bentuk laporan yang sistematis semuanya memanfaatkan aplikasi perkantoran seperti Microsoft office. Kader PKK serta Karang Taruna merupakan pilar utama dalam pelaksanaan berbagai kegiatan sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berperan strategis sebagai penggerak partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung program-program kelurahan, baik yang berkaitan dengan administrasi maupun sosial kemasyarakatan. Dalam rangka meningkatkan produktifitas pelayanan administrasi, maka kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan administrasi perkantoran menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Office bagi keder PKK dan Karang Taruna Kelurahan Kebon Kangkung ini dirasa penting dan perlu dilakukan sebagai salah satu bentuk upaya peningkatan keterampilan administrasi perkantoran. Evaluasi pelatihan Microsoft Office dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, penilaian praktik peserta, evaluasi kehadiran dan kepuasan peserta, serta penyusunan laporan evaluasi untuk menilai ketercapaian tujuan dan efektivitas pelatihan. Tingkat pemahaman akhir berada > 78 % sehingga kegiatan ini dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil.
