Abstract

Tasamuh is an attitude of respect for others to exercise their rights. We must not look down on ethnicity, religion, or other regional cultures, let alone contempt, hate, or antagonize them. Besides that, the meaning of tasamuh can also be interpreted as being patient in facing other people's beliefs, their opinions and their deeds even though they are contrary to beliefs and vanity in their eyes, and may not attack and criticize with reproaches that make that person sick and tormented by his feelings. Religious tolerance must be understood as a form of our acknowledgment of the existence of religions other than our own with all forms of systems and procedures for worship and giving freedom to carry out their respective religious beliefs. This research method is library research and is descriptive, analytic and comparative. Source of data used in this research comes from primary and secondary data. In collecting data using library books, journals, magazines, articles, interviews and documentation methods. The concept of tasamuh in the perspective of the Koran may not look down on ethnicity, religion, or other regional cultures, let alone contempt, hate, or be hostile towards them. In addition, the meaning of tasamuh can also be interpreted as being patient in facing other people's beliefs, their opinions and their deeds even though they are contrary to their beliefs and vanity in their eyes, and may not attack and criticize with reproaches that make the person sick and torment his feelings.

Abstract

This The Balikpapan Formation in the Lower Kutai Basin hosts a complex assemblage of fluvial-to-deltaic reservoir facies whose heterogeneity significantly influences reservoir quality and connectivity. This study integrates well-log interpretation, electrofacies classification, and quantitative petrophysical evaluation from six wells to assess the stratigraphic controls governing reservoir distribution. Three main facies associations are identified: channelised sandstones, mouth-bar to delta-front, and prodelta. Proximal channel sands exhibit the highest porosity (18–30%) and permeability (5–40 mD), but their limited lateral continuity results in poor interwell connectivity. Mouth-bar and delta-front sands display moderate porosity (12–25%) and permeability (<1–30 mD) and form laterally extensive, sheet-like bodies that enhance reservoir connectivity under increasing tidal influence. Thick prodelta mudstones act as regionally extensive vertical seals. The stratigraphic framework is characterised by repeated upward- coarsening parasequences bounded by marine flooding surfaces, reflecting alternating phases of delta progradation and transgression. These results demonstrate that depositional processes and stratigraphic architecture are the primary controls on reservoir heterogeneity in the Lower Kutai Basin.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are educational institutions that provide religious knowledge to their students. However, apart from that, Islamic boarding schools have a significant contribution to the survival of their alumni. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing entrepreneurship among students at the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method that involves several data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used several steps, namely data reduction: data is collected and processed to reduce its complexity. Data presentation: The reduced data is presented in a form that is easy to understand and then conclusions are drawn. The results of this study found that the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School facilitates its students to become entrepreneurs to earn their own income. This is very useful for students because they can earn money from these businesses without burdening their parents. In addition, the economy at the Islamic Boarding School can be improved by the existence of this business unit.

Abstract

Belopa Utara District, Luwu Regency, and to examine its conformity with the perspective of Islamic economic law. This research uses a field research method with a qualitative approach and a normative sociological approach. The data sources consist of primary data obtained through interviews with BRIlink agents and customers, as well as secondary data from books, journals, and other supporting documents. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted using descriptive qualitative methods through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the tariff determination system of BRIlink agents in Belopa Utara is not standardized by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, but is determined independently by each agent based on operational costs, location distance, and marketing strategies. This leads to variations in tariffs among agents. In terms of service, BRIlink provides convenience for the community in conducting financial transactions; however, tariff transparency is still not optimal. From the perspective of Islamic economic law, the practice of tariff determination is permissible as it represents a service fee (ujrah) in an ijarah contract, as long as it adheres to the principles of justice, transparency, and public benefit. However, significant tariff differences and lack of transparency may lead to elements of gharar (uncertainty) and perceived injustice. Therefore, increased transparency and supervision are needed to ensure that tariff practices align with Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

Crime is a persistent social phenomenon closely linked to the dynamics of societal life. Its occurrence is influenced by a complex interplay of economic, social, cultural, psychological, and institutional factors. This study aims to examine the determinants of criminal behavior in society and to identify effective strategies for crime prevention. The research employs a normative juridical method with conceptual and sociological approaches, relying on primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources collected through literature review. The findings reveal that economic hardship, including poverty and unemployment, serves as a primary driver of criminal activity. In addition, low levels of education contribute to limited legal awareness and reduced employment opportunities, thereby increasing the likelihood of deviant behavior. Social environmental factors, such as peer influence, weak social control, and unfavorable community conditions, further reinforce criminal tendencies. Family-related issues, including lack of supervision and dysfunctional relationships, also play a significant role. Moreover, psychological conditions, ineffective law enforcement, and rapid technological development—particularly in the digital sphere—have expanded opportunities for new forms of crime. This study concludes that crime is a multidimensional issue requiring comprehensive and integrated responses. Effective crime prevention should combine preventive, repressive, and rehabilitative measures, including improving socioeconomic welfare, strengthening education, enhancing law enforcement, and promoting responsible use of technology.

Abstract

Criminal law reform represents a strategic effort to modernize the legal system in response to evolving societal dynamics, particularly in achieving a balance between justice and legal certainty. In Indonesia, the existing criminal law framework, largely influenced by colonial legacies, is often considered inadequate in addressing contemporary legal challenges, including the rise of complex and transnational crimes. This study aims to examine the urgency of criminal law reform from the perspectives of justice and legal certainty and to identify the ideal direction for such reform. The research employs a normative juridical method, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches through an extensive review of legal doctrines, regulations, and scholarly literature. The findings reveal that criminal law reform is essential to reconcile the tension between substantive justice and formal legal certainty, which often coexist in imbalance within legal practice. The study highlights the importance of integrating restorative justice principles, enhancing the clarity and consistency of legal norms, and strengthening law enforcement institutions to ensure fair and predictable legal outcomes. Furthermore, legal reform must encompass not only regulatory changes but also institutional improvement and the development of legal culture within society. In conclusion, a comprehensive and adaptive approach to criminal law reform is necessary to establish a legal system that is responsive, equitable, and capable of addressing modern societal needs while maintaining legal certainty

Abstract

Focus on problems based on observations during the South Sea Boys training in West Sumbawa Regency, especially the age group of 10-13 years. Many players still dribble the ball using their toes and the distance between their feet and the distance with the ball is too far, so it is easy for opponents to grab. Students are weak in ball possession so that the ball is easily seized by opponents. In dribbling, players still look stiff. There are some players who have speed in running, but when dribbling at high speed, the player is difficult to turn and the ball is too far out of reach. When in possession of the ball, some students tend to control the ball and then dribbling without paying attention to the surrounding area. South Sea Boys players of West Sumbawa Regency, especially the age group of 10 -13 years when running, players have high speed but cannot pass the opponent and the ball is easily grabbed. From the above facts that the dribbling ability must be improved so that the dribbling ability of the players becomes better. Thus, the main problem is the dribbling ability of the South Sea Boys players, West Sumbawa Regency, especially the age group of 10-13 years which is still low. The design used in this study is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods. Experimentation can be interpreted as a research method used to look for the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. In experimental research there is a treatment (treatment). The sampling technique uses the cumentation method and the deed test method using the help of the IBM SPSS Version 23 program.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction in TikTok Shop, with brand image serving as a mediating variable. This study employed a quantitative research approach. The population consisted of active students in North Sumatra who had purchased products through TikTok Shop. Using purposive sampling, 400 respondents were selected. Data were collected through an online questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS. The findings reveal that brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Service quality also has a positive and significant effect on both brand image and customer satisfaction. In contrast, product quality does not have a significant effect on either brand image or customer satisfaction. Furthermore, brand image significantly mediates the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction, but it does not mediate the relationship between product quality and customer satisfaction. These results suggest that service quality and brand image shape customer satisfaction in TikTok Shop more strongly than product quality. This suggests that, within the social commerce context, consumers place greater emphasis on service experience and digital brand perception in evaluating satisfaction. This study is limited to active students in North Sumatra and focuses only on product quality, service quality, brand image, and customer satisfaction. This study enriches the literature on social commerce by highlighting the dominant role of service quality and brand image in explaining customer satisfaction on TikTok Shop and offers practical insights for sellers in enhancing customer experience and strengthening brand image.
