Abstract

This study explores the implementation of transformative Islamic education at Ma'had al-Jami'ah Raden Intan Lampung, with a focus on its management practices and organizational culture. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Ma'had al-Jami'ah implements a participatory and inclusive management system, guided by values of integrity, collaboration, and hard work. This approach fosters a holistic educational environment that integrates Islamic principles with modern management strategies, aligning spiritual growth with intellectual development. The study underscores the significance of transformative Islamic education in addressing contemporary challenges by bridging religious and modern scientific knowledge. While the findings provide valuable insights into the management of Islamic education, the study's scope is limited to a single institution, necessitating further research across diverse settings. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of Islamic education management and offers practical recommendations for adopting transformative educational practices in similar contexts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis peran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pendidikan sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian adalah teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta sekolah dasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui jurnal, artikel, dan buku. Analisis data menggunakan kualitatif mengadopsi model miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TIK telah menggeser paradigma pembelajaran dari model yang berfokus pada guru menjadi lebih berorientasi pada siswa, memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel dan interaktif. Meskipun banyak sekolah telah mengadopsi berbagai platform e-learning dan sumber belajar digital, tantangan seperti infrastruktur yang tidak memadai, keterampilan digital pendidik, dan kesenjangan akses bagi siswa tetap ada. Perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi pendidik serta pengembangan materi pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan TIK, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tuntutan era digital.

Abstract

Educational transformation in the digital era demands the integration of technology into the teaching and learning process. This article describes a community service activity at MAN 2 Payakumbuh, which implemented three technological components—online attendance, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Geschool learning platform—using the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) approach. This activity aimed to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and humanization of the learning process. The Community Service method used was a participatory and collaborative approach with the school for two months. These activities included: a. Teacher workshops on the use of online attendance applications and Geschool. b. Training on AI Education Tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, and AI for creating teaching materials. c. Introduction and mentoring for the implementation of KBC, through character development based on the values of love, empathy, and spirituality in learning. An evaluation of this activity was also conducted. The results showed that the synergy between technology and the values of compassion in education had a positive impact on student learning motivation, teacher engagement, and improved classroom management.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri dan padatnya mobilisasi masyarakat secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap tingginya permintaan sehingga jumlah limbah yang dihasilkan juga meningkat. Oli Bekas merupakan salah satu jenis cairan kental yang berasal dari hasil pemakaian mesin motor, mobil, atau alat penggerak lainnya. Ditinjau dari komposisi kandungannya, terdiri dari campuran hidrokarbon, bahan kimia aditif, beberapa sisa hasil pembakaran yang bersifat deposit, asam korosif, dan logam berat yang bersifat karsinogenik. Adapun dampak-dampak negatif oli bekas jika dibuang sembarangan adalah sebagai berikut: Mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat, Pencemaran air, Pencemaran tanah, Mudah terbakar, Pencemaran udara dan Gangguan pada ekosistem Studi juga menyebutkan bahwa minyak goreng yang dipakai berkali-kali dapat menghasilkan berbagai senyawa, termasuk polisiklik aromatik hidrokarbon yang bersifat karsinogenik atau menyebabkan kanker. Adapun cara efektif pengelolaannya pengumpulan terpisah, penyimpanan yang aman, pemanfaatan kembali atau daur ulang, pengolahan oil sludge dan menggandeng penyedia jasa pengolahan limbah B3. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang telah dilakukan oleh Tim Pelaksana pada Remaja Masjid Nurul Iman dengan tema “Sosialisasi Pelumas Bekas Terhadap Lingkungan Serta Penanggulannya Pada Remaja Masjid Nurul Iman Marpoyan Damai.” yang beralamat di Jln. Pahlawan Kerja, Kec. Marpoyan Damai, Kota Pekanbaru, Riau, tidak mengalami kesulitan atau hambatan dalam proses pelaksanan PKM tersebut.

Abstract

The implementation of formative assessment in chemistry learning remains suboptimal, as many teachers still rely on conventional methods and rarely utilize innovative digital media such as educational games. This study aims to determine the level of validity and response from chemistry teachers and students to formative assessment media based on wordwall games on the material of the development of atomic theory. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages but this research only reaches the development stage. The data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques with interviews and indirect communication by providing media validation sheets and questions and response questionnaires for chemistry teachers and students. The results of validation by experts on the question aspect obtained a percentage of 91.67% and on the media aspect of 95%, both of these aspects fall into the category of very feasible. The average percentage of chemistry teachers' response to formative assessment media based on wordwall games on the material of the development of atomic theory is 88.3%. While the average response of students to the product obtained a percentage of 82.67% with a very attractive category. Based on the results of validation and response tests, it can be concluded that the wordwall games-based formative assessment product on the material of the development of atomic theory is feasible to use in supporting the implementation of formative assessmentsinlearning

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan dalam menyesuaikan perilaku organisasinya terhadap dinamika sosial, budaya, dan teknologi modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepemimpinan yang mampu mendorong perubahan perilaku organisasi secara efektif dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam praktik kepemimpinan transformasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the planning, implementation, and ‎improvement of Arabic Vocabulary Learning Outcomes through the ‎cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement ‎Divisions (STAD) with the assistance of video media for eighth-‎grade students at Junior High School Manzilul Barakah in ‎Pagaralam City. This type of research is classroom action research. ‎Classroom action research is a process undertaken by individuals or ‎groups desiring change in a particular situation, involving planning, ‎implementing, and reflecting, which is expected to solve the ‎encountered problems. The results of the research show that the ‎planning and implementation of learning using the Cooperative ‎Learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) ‎with the assistance of video media at Manzilul Barakah junior high ‎school show a significant increase in Arabic vocabulary learning ‎outcomes. From the pre-cycle with a completeness of 50%, cycle I ‎increased to 70%, and cycle II reached 80%, showing an average ‎increase of 30%. This method successfully enhances students' ‎understanding, motivation, and cooperation, proving that the ‎integration of technology and well-planned and continuously ‎evaluated cooperative learning methods can improve learning ‎effectiveness.‎

Abstract

Reading literacy has become global concern that Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has conducted Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) reading literacy test to assess what students know and can do in reading. Participating in PISA test since 2000, Indonesian students’ reading literacy has not shown a significant improvement. Because PISA reading literacy test is adapted into language of instruction of each participating country, it is Indonesian students’ reading literacy in Indonesian language which is not satisfactory. Considering the fact that Indonesian fifteen-year-old students study English as a compulsory subject, investigating students’ reading literacy in English is considered important. There has been much research investigating issues in reading achievement in Indonesia, but there are limited studies focussing on PISA reading literacy based on school location, school accreditation, gender, and academic major. Employing survey study design, this study assessed reading literacy of two thousand and two hundred secondary school students sampled from twenty four public secondary schools accredited A+, A, and B in Palembang. Data were obtained using PISA reading literacy test 2009 and were analysed statistically. The findings revealed that students’ English literacy was in level 3 (low category). Students studied at schools in central urban district performed better than those of in peri urban district. Those from secondary schools accredited A+ outperformed their counterparts in schools accredited A and B. Female students performed slightly better than male. Students majoring in science were better than those of majoring in social. The results lead to the conclusion that students’ English literacy achievement should be enhanced using innovating strategies to achieve targeted literacy level that is needed to survive in school academic life.

Abstract

This study analyzes the governance of mining resources in Indonesia through the lens of Maqasid al-Sharia as a normative foundation to reconstruct coal mining licensing systems toward a welfare-oriented model. The current framework, despite legislative reforms under Law No. 4 of 2009 and Law No. 3 of 2020, continues to grapple with environmental degradation, regulatory fragmentation, and unequal resource distribution. Using a normative legal research method, the research examines statutory regulations, Islamic legal doctrines, and principles of maslahah (public benefit), ‘adl (justice), and hifz al-mal (protection of wealth) within the context of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. The historical evolution of mining regulation, from colonial concessions to the centralized IUPK system, reveals a persistent tension between economic exploitation and public welfare. This study proposes a reconstruction of mining governance that integrates Islamic legal objectives to ensure justice, environmental protection, and inclusive development. By embedding Maqasid al-Sharia within the legal framework, mining governance can be redirected toward the public good and sustainable state stewardship.

This article aims to examine the historical development of the Arabic curriculum over time, explore its underlying philosophical foundations, and evaluate recent innovations in modern learning contexts. The study employs a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, using data gathered from academic journals, books, policy documents, and recent research findings. The results reveal a significant paradigm shift from a grammatical to a communicative and contextual approach. Philosophically, the curriculum integrates Islamic values, the educational philosophy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and the principles of progressivism, which emphasize active and humanistic learning. Innovations such as the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, the integration of digital technology, and project-based learning reflect a new direction toward a more flexible and relevant curriculum. This study concludes that the development of the Arabic language curriculum must be carried out collaboratively, inclusively, and sustainably to address the challenges of education in the modern era. ABSTRAKTransformasi kurikulum Bahasa Arab di Indonesia mencerminkan upaya adaptif terhadap dinamika zaman, kebutuhan peserta didik, serta perkembangan global dalam pendidikan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perkembangan historis kurikulum Bahasa Arab dari masa ke masa, mengkaji landasan filosofis yang mendasarinya, dan mengevaluasi berbagai inovasi yang diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran modern. Dengan menggunakan metode literature review berpendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti jurnal, buku, dokumen kebijakan, dan hasil penelitian terkini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum Bahasa Arab di Indonesia telah mengalami pergeseran paradigma, dari pendekatan gramatikal menuju pendekatan komunikatif dan kontekstual. Di sisi filosofis, kurikulum ini mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam, pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara, serta prinsip progresivisme yang menekankan pembelajaran aktif dan humanistik. Sementara itu, inovasi kurikulum terkini seperti implementasi MBKM, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan pendekatan berbasis proyek menjadi bukti konkret dari transformasi kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan abad ke-21. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan dalam mengembangkan kurikulum Bahasa Arab yang relevan, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan.
