Abstract

Women and nature are often articulated as two things that are very close and near . Environmental problems that occur today are not gender-neutral because when natural damage occurs, women are the parties most at risk of being affected. Exploitation and conflict of natural resources affect women's welfare. On the other hand, women still experience various obstacles in fighting for and defending their environment and life, women's access and control over natural resources are still minimal, while women are also almost not involved in decision making, face stigmatization, and so on. This study uses the research method of socio-legal research by using an interdisciplinary approach between aspects of normative research and a sociological approach. The results showed that women's groups were not involved in the formation of regulations in the field of natural resources in South Kalimantan and the existing arrangements had not specifically accommodated women's problems, needs, knowledge, and experiences.

Abstract

The development of assisted reproductive technology, particularly the practice of surrogacy, has given rise to various legal issues, especially concerning the legal status of children born through surrogacy and their legal relationship with the surrogate mother. In Indonesia, surrogacy is not explicitly regulated in statutory law, resulting in legal uncertainty regarding the civil status of the child and the rights and obligations of the parties involved. This issue becomes more complex when examined from the perspective of Islamic law, which has specific provisions concerning lineage (nasab), motherhood, and the validity of agreements. This research aims to analyze the legal consequences concerning the status of children born from surrogacy agreements in relation to the surrogate mother from the perspectives of positive law and Islamic law. The research method employed is normative legal research using statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The data sources consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, which are analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that from the perspective of Indonesian positive law, the practice of surrogacy is not legally recognized and contradicts statutory provisions in the fields of health and marriage law, rendering surrogacy agreements legally unenforceable. Consequently, the legal status of the child tends to follow the woman who gives birth, based on the principle of mater semper certa est. Meanwhile, from the perspective of Islamic law, surrogacy is generally considered impermissible as it leads to the mixing of lineage and contradicts the principle of clarity of descent. The child is attributed to the woman who gives birth rather than to the genetic mother. Therefore, both positive law and Islamic law place the surrogate mother as the party having a legal relationship with the child born through surrogacy.

Abstract

Students often face difficulties in visualizing molecular shapes based on the valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory, which is an abstract concept in chemistry. To address this issue, instructional materials need to be developed to help students visualize molecular shapes more concretely. This study uses the research and development (RD) method with the 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate) development model. The developed instructional materials include cards and an augmented reality (AR) application that allow students to visualize and predict molecular shapes in a tangible way. Validation was conducted by experts in media, content, and language, resulting in feasibility ratings of 98.1% for media aspects, 92.8% for content and language aspects, with an overall average rating of 95.45%. After making improvements to the media, an initial response test was conducted with students, yielding an average score of 90.5% with an excellent rating, and a main scale response test showed a percentage of 96.9%, also categorized as excellent. Based on the feasibility and response tests, the molecular shape cards (MoSCa) media is ready to be implemented in the learning process. The student responses to the initial scale test were 90.5%, and to the main scale test were 96.9%, both rated as excellent. The results indicate that the MoSCa media, based on augmented reality, is engaging and effectively supports students' understanding of molecular shape concepts

Abstract

Abstract

This research focuses on MA Nurul Iman Sekincau's low student learning results in the evaluative and creative parts of Aqidah Akhlak. Low student participation and traditional learning paradigms may hamper higher-order thinking. This quantitative study tests the 7E Learning Cycle model's impact on student learning, particularly at cognitive levels C5 (evaluating) and C6 (creating), as well as affective and psychomotor domains. The study was quasi-experimental with a post-test-only control group. A was the experimental group that received the 7E Learning Cycle model, while B was the control group that used conventional methods. Multiple-choice cognitive C5 and C6 exams, self-assessment questionnaires, and performance observation sheets were used. The findings of the data analysis demonstrated that the 7E Learning Cycle model considerably improved student learning. Cognitive hypothesis testing revealed a significant difference between experimental and control groups (t-value = 3.581, p < 0.001). Through internalizing character ideals and religious attitudes, this model significantly impacted the affective and psychomotor domains (p = 0.000, mean difference = 3.721), outperforming the control group. The cognitive instrument had critical notes since it was dominated by easy and very easy items (86.66%), so its discriminatory power needed to be increased despite meeting validity and reliability requirements. This study found that the 7E Learning Cycle model can help Madrasah educators improve Aqidah Akhlak learning through active involvement and high-level cognitive stimulation.

Abstract

This study addresses a significant lacuna in Nusantara Islamic manuscript scholarship, which has predominantly emphasized cataloguing, textual transmission, and codicological description, while leaving the functional, symbolic, and theological dimensions of wafaq practices underexamined. Focusing on a circular wafaq (wafaq dā’irah) manuscript from Lampung containing Q. 48:29 and Q. 2:246, this research investigates how Qur’anic text, geometric symbolism, and local religiosity intersect within the tradition of ʿIlm al-Hikmah. Employing a qualitative-descriptive design that integrates philological, codicological, and hermeneutical approaches, the study analyzes the manuscript’s textual integrity, visual structure, and socio-historical context in the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. The findings demonstrate that the Qur’anic verses were transmitted faithfully according to the ʿUthmānic rasm, yet functionally transformed through circular geometric inscription, shifting from recitative devotion (tilāwah) to visual-symbolic mediation (hirz/azīmah). Genealogically, the manuscript reflects adaptation of classical Middle Eastern esoteric works—particularly Shams al-Maʿārif al-Kubrā and Khazīnat al-Asrār—into a localized Lampung context, evidenced by Pegon annotations and pragmatic spiritual aims such as protection and authority. Beyond documenting syncretization, this study argues that wafaq manuscripts constitute a contested epistemological arena in which orthodoxy, esotericism, and local authority are negotiated. Consequently, Islamization in Lampung is better understood not as linear doctrinal purification but as a process of symbolic internalization and material articulation of sacred text. By foregrounding the theological contestation and socio-symbolic function of wafaq, this research reframes Indonesian Islamic esotericism as an integral, though debated, component of Islamic intellectual history rather than a peripheral magical residue.
