Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Tahadduts program in improving speaking skills for UMY students. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects including 95 UMY students who participated in the Tahadduts program. The data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, which were then analyzed using interactive qualitative analysis from Miles and Huberman, which consisted of three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Tahadduts program is run by implementing a management system that includes: 1) planning, including coordination meetings and classification of student and educator classes; 2) organizing, involving class divisions adjusted to class levels, namely beginners, intermediate, and advanced; 3) implementation of learning activities every Wednesday and Saturday; and 4) evaluation at the end of each month in the form of final semester exams and language level increases. In addition, the Tahadduts program has a positive impact on improving the speaking skills of UMY students, with an average questionnaire calculation result of 74.57%. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen program Tahadduts dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bagi mahasiswa UMY. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian meliputi 95 mahasiswa UMY yang mengikuti program tahaddust. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket, yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan analisis kualitatif interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari 3 langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program tahadduts dijalankan dengan menerapkan sistem manajemen yang meliputi: 1) perencanaan meliputi rapat koordinasi, klasifikasi kelas peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik, 2) pengorganisasian melibatkan pembagian kelas yang disesuaikan dengan tingkatan kelas yaitu pemula, menengah, dan lanjutan, 3) pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran setiap hari Rabu dan Sabtu, dan 4) evaluasi setiap akhir bulan berupa ujian akhir semester dan kenaikan level bahasa. Selain itu, program tahadduts memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa UNY, dengan rata-rata hasil perhitungan angket sebesar 74,57%.

Abstract

Pemetaan wilayah berbasis komunitas merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan wilayah perkotaan. Artikel ini membahas pemetaan per-RT di RW 22, Kelurahan Teluk Pucung, Bekasi, yang memadukan teknologi fotogrametri berbasis UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasilnya berupa peta spasial yang akurat dan relevan untuk perencanaan pembangunan, mitigasi bencana, dan pengelolaan sumber daya lokal. Proses pemetaan ini melibatkan masyarakat melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) untuk validasi data, memastikan peta mencerminkan kondisi aktual di lapangan. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat dan keterbatasan sumber daya, metode ini berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, transparansi, dan efektivitas pengelolaan wilayah. Studi ini menjadi model implementasi pemetaan wilayah berbasis komunitas yang dapat diterapkan di berbagai daerah.

Abstract

Baja merupakan salah satu material yang tak tergantikan dalam berbagai aplikasi industri, konstruksi, dan manufaktur. Salah satu aspek penting dalam penggunaan baja adalah sifat mekaniknya, khususnya kekuatan tarik. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan tarik baja adalah dengan proses pendinginan cepat (quenching). Namun, selain quenching, pengelasan juga merupakan proses penting dalam pengolahan baja, dan kuat arus pengelasan dapat memengaruhi sifat mekanik baja secara signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh variasi kuat arus pengelasan (100 A, 110 A, dan 120 A) terhadap kekuatan tarik las pada baja ST 37 yang telah mengalami proses pendinginan cepat (quenching) dan memberikan rekomendasi mengenai penggunaan kuat arus pengelasan yang optimal dalam kombinasi proses pendinginan cepat (quenching) untuk mencapai kekuatan tarik yang diinginkan pada baja ST 37. Data hasil pengujian tarik menunjukkan variasi yang signifikan antara ketiga variasi kuat arus pengelasan 100 A, 110 A dan 120 A terhadap baja ST 37 yang telah mengalami proses pendinginan cepat (quenching). Variasi 110 A menunjukkan tegangan rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 199,485 N/mm2, diikuti oleh 100 A (172,734 N/mm2) dan 120 A (161,182 N/mm2). Modulus elastisitas terbesar terjadi pada variasi 100 A dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 25788,033 N/mm2, sementara nilai terendah terjadi padavariasi 110 A (12563,533 N/mm2). Regangan rata-rata tertinggi terjadi pada variasi 120 A (0,022), diikutioleh 110 A (0,018) dan 100 A (0,008). Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kuat arus pengelasan 100 A merupakan pilihan yang paling optimal untuk mencapai kekuatan tarik yang diinginkan pada baja ST 37 yang telah mengalami proses pendinginan cepat (quenching).

Abstract

This research aims to know the significant influence between the use of word wall website improve students’ vocabulary mastery. This research is done by using quantitative method with quasi experimental design. In this research, the researchers used random sampling as the technique. The researchers choose second grade students at SMPN 2 Majene as the samples of the research. From the data analysis computed by using SPSS, it was obtained from Mann-Whitney Test that Sig. (2-tailed) at 0.000<0.05, then as the basis for decision that h0 is rejected and h1 is accepted. Based on the result of the research that has been done by the writers, the researchers concluded that using word wall website has a significant effect in improving students’ vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effectiveness of the Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) learning model and the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in terms of learning achievement, self-confidence, and students' critical thinking skills in the Digital Beauty Design course. This type of research is Quasi experiment. The subjects of this study were two classes of students from the Department of Cosmetology and Beauty Education, Padang State University who were randomly selected. Data analysis to test the effectiveness of the GDL model and PjBL model in terms of each dependent variable using the t test. While the data analysis technique to test the difference between the effectiveness of the GDL model and the PjBL model uses the MANOVA test. The results showed that, in terms of learning achievement, self-confidence, and students' critical thinking skills, it is known that the application of the GDL model in the Digital Beauty Design course is effective, the application of the PjBL Model in the Digital Beauty Design course is effective, and there is no difference in the effectiveness of the GDL model and the PjBL model. in the Digital Beauty Design course.

Abstract

Upon graduation, the aim of education graduates is to become qualified educators capable of meeting the needs of education, society, and industry. Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Education Study Programme are expected to possess superior competence and provide solutions to societal problems. The research conducted is descriptive in nature, utilising a qualitative approach. The study was carried out at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. The research instrument comprised documents such as course outlines, course synopses, and syllabi in Electrical Engineering Education at Padang State University. Data was collected through interviews and documentation. The study aimed to create a mapping of Electrical Engineering Education courses at Padang State University. The UNP Electrical Engineering Education program requires students to complete a set number of courses each semester. In semester 1, students must complete 22 SKS; in semester 2, 22 SKS; in semester 3, 22 SKS; in semester 4, 19 SKS; in semester 5, 22 SKS; in semester 6, 20 SKS; in semester 7, 8 SKS; and in semester 8, 10 SKS of final courses. The requirement for Semester Credit Units for Electrical Engineering Education students at Padang State University is 145 credits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to re-analyze the application of inquiry learning models to improve student academic achievement. Meta-analysis is the type of research in this article. The research stage begins with formulating research problems, the next stage is continued by analyzing research data in accordance with the inquiry learning model. In the process of data collection apply non-test techniques wheresearching for articles contained in electronic journals using the Google Scholar site. 25 scientific articles were obtained from various articles both national and international found based on the inquiry model. In accordance with the results of data analysis, it was obtained that in applying the inquiry learning model in the learning process, there was an increase in student academic achievement. This is evidenced by the lowest value data obtained with a percentage of 3.05% to the highest value with a percentage of 50.99% so that an average of 17.66% is obtained. Then based on the calculation of the effect size of 25 articles used as references, the average effect size value of 7.33% was obtained. From this effect size value, it can be seen that the influence of the inquiry learning model has a very high influence on increasing student academic achievement.

Abstract

As technology becomes important in people's lives, there is a call to integrate technology into education. Therefore, this research aims to look at the elements needed to integrate technology as a learning platform based on design thinking. This research is quantitative research using the Fuzzy Delphi technique. The approach used to collect research data is to use a questionnaire instrument. The number of experts involved was 18 people, 8 people from the field of education, 5 people from educational technology, and 5 people from design thinking. The research results show that the eight elements are accepted by experts with a consensus percentage above 75% with a threshold value (d) ≤ 0.2. The conclusions of these eight elements are using technology or the internet, choosing technological tools or resources, assessing the credibility and relevance of sources, using technology to analyze information, using technology to support teamwork, using technology to help students share information, utilizing technology to monitor assignments, utilizing technology to interact directly with experts is necessary for integrating technology as a learning platform based on design thinking. This research implies that teachers and students have started to apply these eight elements in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

Many students graduate with inadequate knowledge and skills, so more effective learning methods are needed. So that student competency can increase, project-based learning modules must be developed. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of project-based teaching materials on light vehicle engine maintenance. The type of research used is experimental research with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this research were 30 students used to test the effectiveness of the teaching materials developed. Trials are collected to collect quantitative data in the form of learning outcomes tests and skills tests to obtain product effectiveness scores. The data analysis technique uses a one-shot case study regarding the classical completeness of the value of knowledge and skills learning outcomes. The research results show that the use of project-based teaching materials is effective. This is based on increased students' knowledge and skills after using these teaching materials. In conclusion, the effectiveness test in developing teaching materials for light vehicle engine maintenance used by students can increase knowledge and skills in the learning process. Exploring The Contribution of Mind Mapping-Based Constructivist Strategy on Fiqh Learning Outcomes Ridwan

Abstract

Improving fiqh learning outcomes requires empirically tested learning strategies following the characteristics of the material and learning. This study aims to examine (1) the effect of constructivist-based mind-mapping learning strategies on cognitive learning outcomes of fiqh subjects with intelligence control (intelligence) and (2) the influence of constructivist-based mind mapping learning strategies on cognitive learning outcomes of jurisprudence subjects with control of learning motivation. This research uses an experimental design carried out at MAN 1 Semarang City. Data were collected using tests (learning outcomes), questionnaires (learning motivation), and documentation (intelligence). Next, the collected data were analyzed using simple Variance Analysis (Anava) and Covariance Analysis (ANAKOVA) techniques. The results of data analysis found that constructivist-based mind-mapping learning strategies significantly influenced students' Fiqh learning outcomes after controlling their intelligence/intelligence and learning motivation. This shows that if the level of intelligence is the same, the Fiqh learning outcomes achieved by students who follow constructivist-based mind-mapping learning strategies are higher than those achieved by those who follow conventional learning strategies. Likewise, if motivation levels are the same, the jurisprudence learning outcomes of students who follow constructivist-based mind-mapping learning strategies are higher.
