Abstract

Forest governance has become a central issue in environmental law, particularly in regions vulnerable to deforestation and ecological degradation. Dompu District in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, presents a critical case of forest area management where complex interactions between legal norms, institutional capacity, and community involvement shape the effectiveness of forest policies. This paper aims to analyze the implementation and challenges of forest governance in Dompu through the lens of environmental law. The study adopts a qualitative sociolegal methodology by examining statutory regulations, regional policies, and institutional roles, complemented by field interviews involving local government officials, environmental NGOs, forest rangers, and indigenous community representatives. The research reveals several systemic issues: overlapping legal jurisdictions, limited law enforcement capacity, insufficient public participation, and the marginalization of local wisdom in policy processes. Despite existing legal frameworks and conservation programs, unsustainable land use practices and weak coordination among stakeholders continue to hinder policy effectiveness. The findings suggest that reforming institutional structures, enhancing interagency coordination, and integrating traditional ecological knowledge into formal legal frameworks are essential steps toward improving forest governance. In conclusion, this paper contributes to the broader discourse on environmental legal reform and sustainable natural resource management by highlighting the local dynamics and legal complexities in the Dompu District context.

Abstract

This study explores the politeness methods described by Brown and Levinson (1987) in dealing with emotional conflict in the short story "Persimpangan" by Raditya Dika (2023). The main objective of this study is to analyze face-threatening acts (FTAs), positive face (the desire to empathize), negative face (freedom without interference), and various FTA strategies (direct, positive politeness, negative politeness, indirect) that emerge in the interaction between Indah and Ardi. The findings of this study reveal a sociolinguistic irony while methods of maintaining social face may be successful, they lead to the loss of the "face of happiness" over a longer period of time (Indah experiences severe trauma, while Ardi experiences freedom but is trapped in a state of sorrowful regret).

Abstract

Family dispute resolution is an essential component of the legal system that reflects the social, cultural, and legal values of a country. This study aims to analyze the comparison of family dispute resolution systems across different countries using a comparative law approach. The method employed is normative legal research with a comparative analysis of several legal systems, namely civil law, common law, and Islamic law. The results indicate that there are significant differences in the mechanisms for resolving family disputes, both through litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation. Countries adopting the common law system tend to emphasize flexibility and mediation, whereas civil law systems rely more on structured formal judicial processes. Meanwhile, the Islamic legal system highlights deliberation and reconciliation as primary approaches. This research is expected to provide a global perspective for the development of family dispute resolution systems in Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the legal construction of jimak and the potential of nusyus (husband's negligence in fulfilling wife's rights) from the perspective of maqasid al-syari’ah and gender justice. Islamic law emphasizes the husband’s obligation to fulfill sexual, emotional, and financial rights of the wife, but its practice is often influenced by cultural norms, limited legal interpretations, and moral awareness. This study employs a library research method to analyze fiqh literature, legal documents, and case studies. The findings indicate that maqasid-based reinterpretation of jimak law can balance husband and wife rights, reduce nusyus potential, and promote gender justice in the household.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering religious moderation attitudes among students and to describe the manifestation of religious moderation attitudes that have developed at SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, encompassing data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that PAI teachers effectively carried out multidimensional roles, encompassing the role of contextual educator, moderate role model, inclusive learning facilitator, and digital religious literacy guide. These roles operated synergistically and produced tangible impacts on students' character development. Students' religious moderation attitudes were well established, as reflected in active tolerance, organic harmony, openness to differences, and resilience against extremist influences in the digital era. These findings affirm that moderately oriented religious education possesses strong transformative power in shaping a generation of young people who are tolerant, peaceful, and of good character, while also contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the domains of quality education and sustainable peace.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation gap of the murābaḥah bil-wakālah contract at NTB Syariah Bank from the perspective of the DSN-MUI fatwa as living law, and how that gap produces legal uncertainty and weakens consumer protection. Positioned within a normative–empirical legal research design, this study applies conceptual analysis on legal certainty theory (Hart–Rawls), doctrinal analysis of DSN MUI fatwas, and empirical verification of bank practices through financial reports and supporting field findings. The study finds that Bank NTB Syariah performs the wakālah and murābaḥah contracts simultaneously in one administrative session, so that the bank has no real ownership over the goods (qabd al-ḥaqīqī) before the murābaḥah sale occurs. This makes the contract substantively resemble a fixed-margin loan rather than a sharia sale, creating sharia defect (fasid), shifting risks to consumers, and undermining the maqāṣid values of justice and asset protection. The article contributes theoretically by reaffirming fatwa DSN-MUI as a source of living law requiring institutional internalization, and practically by offering governance-based recommendations (DPS independency, ownership-based compliance audit, and contractual literacy

Abstract

A company's value reflects how the market assesses a company's performance and prospects. In the mining sector, environmental issues increase the relevance of green accounting and carbon emission disclosure, but the extent to which investors respond to this information is still inconsistent. This study aims to analyze the influence of green accounting, carbon emission disclosure, and profitability on the value of companies in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2023 period. The study used a causal associative quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques and produced 84 firm-year observations. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that green accounting and carbon emission disclosure do not have a significant effect on the company's value, while profitability has a positive and significant effect. These findings indicate that the market still places more emphasis on financial performance than environmental disclosure in assessing mining companies. The implications of the study show that environmental initiatives will contribute more to the company's value if successfully converted into operational efficiency, risk reduction, and strengthening profitability.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how Accounting Information System (AIS) adoption and user satisfaction contribute to public value creation in the implementation of Indonesia’s Institutional Financial Application System (SAKTI), addressing the limited empirical understanding of value creation mechanisms in mandatory government information systems. Method/Approach: This research applies a quantitative design based on survey data from 99 active SAKTI users across provincial and district offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Central Sulawesi. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the relationships among variables. Findings: The results show that system quality significantly drives AIS adoption, while information quality and organizational IS service quality primarily influence user satisfaction. Critically, AIS adoption has a significant positive effect on public value, whereas user satisfaction does not. This indicates that, in mandatory public sector systems, public value is institutionalized through consistent and integrated system adoption rather than through individual affective evaluations. Practical Implications: The practical implications of this research suggest that SAKTI needs to be managed and evaluated as an institutional mechanism for public value creation, not as a user-oriented information system. Therefore, policies within DJPb and the Ministry of Finance should prioritize system reliability, mandatory adoption, and process integration as key levers to strengthen fiscal accountability, transparency, and legitimacy of state financial management to create sustainable public value. Originality/Value: This research extends DeLone and McLean's Information Systems Success Model through the integration of Public Value Theory by asserting that system adoption is the main path of public value creation in the mandatory government financial system.

Abstract

Electric actuators have an important role in automatic control systems by replacing manual mechanisms, therefore increasing efficiency through automation. Among the most expensive components in control systems are control valves. In this study, an electronically motorized valve was designed to respond to three types of industrial analog signals. The valve was developed using an ESP32 microcontroller to optimize the performance of the DC motor. The researched methodology followed the VDI 2206 model, which provides a systematic and structured approach to product development through modeling, analysis, and verification. The system is designed to integrate with PLC control using voltage and current signals as inputs. Validation results show that the system achieves multi-input capability with highly linear and accurate position control (R² > 0.99; MAPE 5.96%). Although the functional response to flow rate is also consistent (R² > 0.96), its accuracy is lower (MAPE 24.54%) due to systematic errors primarily caused by mechanical factors such as valve friction and pump pressure.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and programming (coding) necessitates an innovative response from the educational sector to foster a generation that is not only digitally competent but also possesses strong character and ethics. This paper proposes a conceptual model to develop a holistic educational paradigm through the synergy between the Love-Based Curriculum (Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta or KBC) and AI & coding education within the madrasah environment. The objective is to bridge the gap between technological advancement and humanitarian values by establishing KBC as the ethical foundation for the development and utilization of technology. The methodology employed involves a literature analysis and synthesis to integrate the philosophical foundations of KBC, namely ontology, epistemology, and axiology, with the principles of AI ethics. The resulting model focuses on applying "Panca Cinta" (Five Loves) as an ethical framework for AI and coding projects, wherein students learn to create technological solutions that are humanistic, tolerant, and sustainable. The primary contribution of this paper is to offer a theoretical framework that serves as a basis for future empirical research and policy formulation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag). Consequently, madrasahs can act as pioneers in cultivating a superior generation that is not only digitally proficient but also empathetic, compassionate, and socially responsible in the global era.
