Abstract

Paris Agreement is a global environment legal protection that was ratified by many countries, including Indonesia. Government of Indonesia released Law No. 16 of 2016 as legal formalizes Indonesia's commitment to Paris Agreement. Indonesia also released Law No. 7 of 2021 as legal basis for carbon tax to include the pro-environment tax on Indonesia Tax Regulation. In order to evaluate the correlations between the variables, this study uses a mixed-methods technique that combines quantitative surveys with legal analysis. This normative-empirical study focuses on the effects of carbon tax laws and green legal awareness, analyzing how they affect people's green behavior and subsequent adherence to the goals of the Agreement. Normatively, the study examines the moral and legal foundations of carbon taxes as a climate change mitigation strategy, and empirically, it investigates how well these laws influence public opinion. The Simple Random Sampling method was used for collecting the data through a structured questionnaire to 120 executives in Green Certified Logistic Centre and analyzed by Smart PLS 4.0.9.6. It is argued that a key component of converting legal frameworks into concrete actions is green legal awareness, which includes knowledge and comprehension of environmental laws and rights. This study also suggests that the relationship between carbon tax law, green legal knowledge, and Paris Agreement compliance is mediated by green behavior, which includes ecologically conscious decisions and activities. By looking at this mediating function, the study hopes to shed light on how public awareness and legal frameworks might work together to encourage individual acts that support global climate goals.

Abstract

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a key neurotechnology that enables non-invasive, high-temporal resolution monitoring of brain activity. This review examines recent advancements in EEG-based neuroscience from 2021 to 2025, with a focus on applications in neurodegenerative disease diagnosis, cognitive assessment, emotion recognition, and brain-computer interface (BCI) development. Twenty peer-reviewed studies were selected using predefined inclusion criteria, emphasizing the use of machine learning on EEG data. Each study was assessed based on EEG settings, feature extraction, classification models, and outcomes. Emerging trends show increased adoption of advanced computational techniques such as deep learning, capsule networks, and explainable AI for tasks like seizure prediction and psychiatric classification. Applications have expanded to real-world domains including neuromarketing, emotion-aware architecture, and driver alertness systems. However, methodological inconsistencies (ranging from varied preprocessing protocols to inconsistent performance metrics) pose significant challenges to reproducibility and real-world deployment. Technical limitations such as inter-subject variability, low spatial resolution, and artifact contamination were found to negatively impact model accuracy and generalizability. Moreover, most studies lacked transparency regarding bias mitigation, dataset diversity, and ethical safeguards such as data privacy and model interpretability. Future EEG research must integrate multimodal data (e.g., EEG-fNIRS), embrace real-time edge processing, adopt federated learning frameworks, and prioritize personalized, explainable models. Greater emphasis on reproducibility and ethical standards is essential for the clinical translation of EEG-based technologies. This review highlights EEG’s expanding role in neuroscience and emphasizes the need for rigorous, ethically grounded innovation.

Abstract

This study investigates the transformation of the Javanese ruwat ritual into ruwat santri, a symbolic Islamization that integrates Qur'anic recitation, while preserving local cultural traditions. It explores the social, spiritual and affective dimensions of the ritual using Weber’s social action theory and its implications for interfaith harmony and local religious practice The research adopts a qualitative-descriptive fieldwork design, including participant observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders and ritual practitioners and ritual text documentation. The data analysis combines the Living Qur’an approach to understand the embodiment and meaning of Qur’anic recitation within this ritual context. Findings indicate that the transformation of Ruwat Jawa into Ruwat Santri constitutes a symbolic Islamization that preserves local cultural roots while embedding Quranic values into the ritual. Viewed through Weber’s framework, this practice integrates inherited tradition, emotional-spiritual experience, religious value commitment, and strategic adaptation to socio-economic realities. Community reception of the Quran in this context is performative and existential, treating it not merely as a sacred text but as a spiritual agent of blessing, protection and healing. The novelty of this study lies in highlighting the Quran as the primary actor in ritual transformation, surpassing previous studies that mainly focused on cultural acculturation. Practically, these findings have implications for cultural da‘wah strategies, tradition preservation aligned with Islamic law and the promotion of interfaith harmony. This research affirms that integrating Qur’anic values into local traditions fosters a contextual religiosity, enriching the discourse on the Living Qur’an in Indonesia.

Abstract

Construction projects often face delays and cost overruns due to material delays, labor shortages, and adverse weather. In the Sports Building project in South Kalimantan, a 17-day delay beyond the planned 270-day schedule increased costs, risk of penalties, and threatened the contractor’s reputation and project sustainability. Therefore, accelerating completion is essential to reduce losses. Overtime on critical path activities is a common acceleration method but requires careful analysis since excessive overtime can reduce productivity and raise costs. This study aims to analyze alternatives for accelerating the duration of the construction of a sports arena in South Kalimantan using the Time Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method. TCT) method is applied, focusing on adding 2, 3, and 4 hours of overtime per day on critical path tasks. The approach integrates actual project data, regulations, and productivity factors to develop effective acceleration strategies. Results show that adding 3 hours of overtime daily is the most efficient, reducing duration from 287 to 283 days and saving IDR 71,652,415.38. However, the 270-day target is not yet met, requiring further crashing. This paper presents only one crashing iteration as a practical simulation to demonstrate the method and potential outcomes. Future crashing will focus on tasks with the lowest cost slope while considering task dependencies.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve elementary school students’ learning motivation through behavioral intervention using the token economy technique. The participant was a 10-year-old male student in the fourth grade. The client demonstrated low learning motivation, as reflected in academic scores below the minimum standard, frequent tardiness, passive classroom behavior, poor concentration, and a lack of persistence in completing school tasks and homework. Although the client’s IQ was within the normal range, he was unable to maximize his learning potential and often displayed behaviors that hindered his academic performance. The study employed a behavioral intervention design with the application of token economy, in which tokens were awarded for positive learning behaviors and could later be exchanged for other forms of reinforcement. The findings indicated an increase in learning motivation, evidenced by improved interest, concentration, discipline, and persistence in learning activities. These results highlight the effectiveness of token economy as an intervention strategy to enhance learning motivation in elementary school students. Keywords: Behavioral Intervention, Elementary Student, Token Economy.
