Abstract

This research aims prevent student’s misconception to the concept of chemical equilibrium. Misconceptions prevention performed was using a modified inquiry model.Subject in this research arestudents science grade XI in SMAN Kabuh  Jombang.This research is pre-experiment with one group pretest - posttest design. Identification of misconceptions used Three Tier Test method. The resulted discrete data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive and continu data  was analyzed using inferential statistics, namely the Mann-Whitney test, t-Test, and Wilcoxon’s Sign Rank Test.A modified inquiry learning models successfully preventedstuedent’s misconceptionbut still remained the burden of misconceptions. Based on inferential statistical test with thesignificance level of 95% it can be concluded that the science classes decreased significantly the level of burdenof misconceptions as the impact of learning a modified inquiry models.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencegah miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep kesetimbangan kimia. Pencegahan terjadinya miskonsepsi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran modified inquiry. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di SMAN Kabuh Kabupaten Jombang.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Identifikasi miskonsepsi menggunakan metode Three Tier Test. Teknik analisis data diskrit menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan data kontinyu menggunakan statistik inferensial yaitu: Mann-Whitney Test,t-Test, dan Wilcoxon’s Sign Rank Test.Pembelajaran menggunakan modified inquiry berhasil mencegah miskonsepsi siswa dan membuat siswa menjadi tahu konsep, tetapi masih menyisakan beban miskonsepsi siswa. Dengan menggunakan uji statistik inferensial pada taraf kepercayaan 95% dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada kelas penelitian terjadi penurunan secara signifikan beban miskonsepsi siswa sebagai dampak pembelajaran menggunakan modified inquiry.

Abstract

Abstract. The research aims to get answers to whether chemistry learning with computer-based games as learning media can create fun learning (edutainment). The study was conducted on students in three high schools in chemistry learning according to plan, during the learning activities were observed by students, before and after learning the learning outcomes tests and student questionnaires were conducted. The results showed that learning activities were 90.4% to 92.0% as expected, 90% to 100% of students stated that learning was fun with games as learning media, and learning outcomes had achieved 93% to 100% classical completeness. These results indicate that the use of computer-propelled games as chemical learning media can create chemical learning that pleases students and can be used by teachers as an alternative to edutainment chemistry learning

Abstract

Implementation a model of solution using 7E Learning Cycle to prevent student’s misconceptions in grade X of Senior High School particularly on Redox Reaction concept. Research samples were grade X-2, X-3 and X-4 students of Integrated Model Senior High School in Bojonegoro. This study was pre-experiment study using One Group Pretest-Postest design. It was prevention learning of misconception by implementing 7E Learning Cycle Model (Elicit, Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluation, Extend). Identification of misconceptions used three-tier diagnostic test.  Respon variables in this research were conception and student’s achievement on Redox Reaction concept. Data analysis technique were descriptive and inferential analysis. Findings of this study show that prevention learning of misconception by implementing 7E Learning Cycle Model increased student’s proportion of ‘knowing concept’ and successfully student’s achievement of Redox Reaction concept. Implementasi sebuah model solutif dengan model belajar Learning Cycle 7E bertujuan untuk memprevensi (mencegah) terjadinya miskonsepsi siswa kelas X SMA khususnya pada konsep reaksi redoks. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas X-2, X-3, dan X-4 SMAN Model Terpadu Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-postest design dengan tindakan pembelajaran prevensi miskonsepsi dengan menerapkan model Learning Cycle 7E (Elicit, Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluation, Extend). Identifikasi miskonsepsi menggunakan three tier diagnostic test. Variabel respon dalam penelitian ini adalah konsepsi dan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran prevensi terjadinya miskonsepsi siswa dalam pembelajaran konsep redoks dengan menerapkan model Learning Cycle 7E.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran prevensi miskonsepsi dengan menerapkan model Learning Cycle 7E berhasil menambah proporsi siswa tahu konsep dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada konsep reaksi redoks.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to produce an intervention which is valid, practical, and effective. This intervention design research is conducted through model 4-D that limited to three phases, that is define, design, and develop. Those intervention is tried out at eight class on SMPN 30 Surabaya in academic year 2014/2015 with one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected using observation method, tests, and questionnaires. Data are analyzed using descriptive analysis quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that 1) the intervention are valid categorized; 2) the implementation result of lesson plan until 99%, and the student activity show that the intervention is practice categorized to train scientific process skills, 3) students positively respond toward intervention, and the increasing of scientific process skills show that the intervention is effective to train scientific process skills. It can be concluded that the intervention design is valid, practice and effective to train students scientific process skills. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian desain bahan ajar ini menggunakan model 4-D (Four-D Model) yang dibatasi pada tiga tahapan, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Hasil desain bahan ajar diujicobakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 30 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan valid untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP; 2) Keterlaksanaan RPP yang mencapai 99% dan aktivitas belajar siswa menunjukkan behan ajar yang didesain terkategori praktis dalam melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP; dan 3) Respon positif siswa terhadap bahan ajar, dan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan bahan ajar yang didesain efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. Disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang didesain valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP kelas VIII.

Abstract

This research aims to study the effect of inquiry learning by critical thinking practice followed by a conceptual change efforts to reduce misconceptions on acid-base learn. The research design using one-group pretest-posttest design with students of SMAN 2 Ngawi as sample research. The student conception  status finding by knowing concept (TK), not knowing concept (TTK), and misconception (MK), whereas intensity of misconception be analized by CRI. Results and analysis of research data found that there is a shift in conception after inquiry learning p rocess. Based on Wilcoxon’s signed rank test, the T value of test TK, TTK, and MK is less than T table at α = 0.05 , so it was concluded that inquiry learning increase TK and decrease TTK and MK. The influence of inquiry learning for understanding the influence was strengthened by the results of the t test tests before and after understanding the concept of inquiry learning that indicate a significant difference.  t-test results on tests of critical thinking before and after the inquiry learning also showed a significant difference. Inquiry learning can not reduce all of misconceptions. Reduction step again is with conceptual change. Based on Wilcoxon’s signed rank test was concluded that conceptual change learning can reduce misconception significantlyPenelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbuka disertai latihan berpikir kritis yang dilanjutkan dengan conceptual change sebagai upaya mereduksi miskonsepsi pada materi asam basa. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan metode one group pretest-postest design dengan subyek penelitian  siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Ngawi. Profil konsepsi siswa dinyatakan dengan status tahu konsep (TK), tidak tahu konsep (TTK), dan miskonsepsi (MK), sedangkan intensitas miskonsepsi diperoleh dari hasil analisis CRI jawaban siswa.  Hasil dan analisis hasil tes pemahaman konsep menemukan bahwa terjadi pergeseran konsepsi setelah proses pembelajaran inkuiri terbuka. Berdasarkan wilcoxon’s signed rank test diperoleh T hitung untuk semua status TK, TTK, dan MK kurang dari nilai T tabel pada α = 0,05 dan n = 25, sehingga   disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri meningkatkan jumlah TK dan menurunkan TTK dan MK.  Pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap pemahaman konsep serta kemampuan berpikir kritis diketahui dari uji t hasil tes pemahaman konsep serta tes berpikir kritis sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran. Hasil uji t pada α = 0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pemahaman konsep serta kemampuan berpikir kritis antara sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran inkuiri. Miskonsepsi yang masih tersisa setelah pembelajaran inkuiri direduksi kembali dengan strategi   conceptual change. Berdasarkan wilcoxon’s signed rangk test disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran conceptual change dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study is development research of student worksheets and student textbooks using the inquiry training model to support the learning of the colligative properties of solution. The purpose of this study was to produce valid student worksheets and student textbooks. Student worksheets and student textbooks are developed using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate) design. The validity measured includes construct validity and content validity. The validity of the device was assessed by three validators using a validation sheet. The validation result data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis show that the student worksheets and student books developed have reached a valid category with the mode of score ranging from 3 to 4.

At present, the Mts Islamiyah Sukoharjo School is delivering information to the general public which is still relatively simple, namely through the distribution of brochures and the installation of banners in various places. The purpose of this study is to design a mobile web-based academic information system at Sukoharjo Mts Islamiyah school using a Content Management System. In this study, it shows that the use of a website-based information system can be a publication revolution in opening up a wider range of school information to convey various types of information about the Sukoharjo Mts Islamiyah school.

Abstract

The purpose of this laughter therapy is to increase the level of happiness of the therapy targets, namely Heads of Division and Head of Sub Division of Unesa. The number of targets for laughter therapy was 51 people. Increasing the scale of happiness is assumed to have an impact on increasing the body's immunity, so this laughter therapy can be an effort to prevent the Covid-19 attack which is currently pandemic. Methods of implementing the activity: (1) preparation of a happiness scale questionnaire instrument, (2) preparation of funny videos, and (3) implementing laughter therapy. The design of the activity implementation adopted the research paradigm of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data analysis of changes in the happiness scale used Wilcoxon's non-parametric statistical analysis techniques and was assisted by SPSS. The results achieved: (1) the Happiness Scale Questionnaire Instrument has been successfully created, which is packaged in the form of a google-form, (2) 15 funny videos that meet the criteria are not contra-educational and free from elements of violence, SARA, and pornography) which are collected on flash drives and on Google Drive, and (3) laughter therapy activities have a positive impact on the happiness scale of the Head of Sub-Section of Unesa, there was a significant increase.

Abstract

Pembelajaran online bukanlah hal yang mudah, apalagi jika guru belum terbiasa dengan perangkat teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil survey menyatakan mayoritas pelajar bosan dengan sistem belajar online yang sedang dijalani. Guru sebagai ujung tombak dalam pendidikan dituntut lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran online. Salah satu caranya yakni guru dapat menyisipkan game pembelajaran di kelas online. Namun, kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru tentang pembelajaran online menjadikan pembelajaran online kurang maksimal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami mengadakan pelatihan pembelajaran online yang interaktif. Adapun mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru yang berada di wilayah Malangbong-Garut. Metode yang digunakan dalam  pelatihan in 1) metode ceramah,  2) metode diskusi, 3) metode simulasi, dan 4) metode penugasan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring dengan jumlah peserta 60 orang. Materi pelatihan meliputi 1) pentingnya pembelajaran daring yang menyenangkan, 2) pembuatan game interaktif (kuis) dalam pembelajaran. Hasilnya, pelatihan disambut positif oleh guru-guru dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Selain memahami teknis pembelajaran online, guru terampil dalam membuat quis pembelajaran yang nantinya dapat digunakan ketika mengajar.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce a book-based blog as a support for basic literacy in grade IV of elementary school that meets feasibility in terms of validity, practicality, attractiveness and effectiveness. This research is a research & development research with a 4D model, namely define, design, development, disseminate. The results showed the validity level was 90.86%, the practicality level was 81.90%, the attractiveness level was 90.15%, the effectiveness of the product t> t table was 3.91> 1.734 and there was an increase in the average pretest 23 to the average posttest 41,77. Comments and suggestions from experts and teachers and students are considered in improving the product so that the product is suitable for use.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media blog berbasis buku tugas sebagai penunjang literasi dasar pada kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang memenuhi kelayakan dari segi kevalidan, kepraktisan, kemenarikan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research & development dengan model 4D yaitu define, design, development, disemminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan 90,86%,tingkat kepraktisan 81,90%, tingkat kemenarikan 90,15%,  keefektifan t produk > t tabel yaitu 3,91>1,734 dan terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretest 23 menjadi nilai rata-rata posttest 41,77. Komentar dan saran dari para ahli dan guru serta siswa menjadi pertimbangan dalam perbaikan produk sehingga produk menjadi layak digunakan.
