Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Islamic Education curriculum using the CIPP evaluation model. The method used is field research. The research results show that in the context of learning, students' low socioeconomic background affects their learning facilities. Nevertheless, the Islamic Education curriculum aligns with the school's vision of shaping students with noble character. In terms of input, Islamic Education teachers have met the standards set by the government, but they still face challenges due to lack of teaching materials and limited technological learning media. In the learning process, teachers consistently use diverse methods tailored to learning objectives and utilize technology, albeit with limitations. Regarding the product aspect, student learning outcomes are quite good, with nearly 75% reaching the minimum completion criteria. However, some students still cannot read the Quran, and there is a need for cooperation among various educational stakeholders.

Abstract

The flow of globalization has dominated Indonesia as the party who is influenced, not the one who influences. Indonesia is one of the potential markets for the development of foreign cultures. This situation threatens the local culture which has a long tradition in the socio-cultural life of the Indonesian people. Aspects of education can not be separated from the effects of globalization, the rapid progress of science and technology has brought its own impact to the world of education. In recent years, many schools in Indonesia have adopted the international education system. This can be seen in schools with a bilingual approach, namely the use of foreign languages ​​such as English and Mandarin as a second language that must be used in daily life at school. Educational levels from high school to university, both public and private, have opened international class programs. The real challenge faced by the local community is the effort to maintain the value of local norms and culture. The Indonesian people must be firm, at the same time open and tolerant, so that they can filter and adopt foreign cultures that do not conflict with local norms and culture. A firm stance is needed to avoid contamination of other cultural values ​​that are contrary to local norms and culture. ABSTRAK Arus globalisasi yang berasal dari negara-negara maju telah mendominasi Indonesia sebagai pihak yang dipengaruhi, bukan yang mempengaruhi. Indonesia merupakan salah satu pasar potensial bagi perkembangan budaya asing dari negara maju. Situasi ini mengancam budaya lokal yang memiliki tradisi panjang dalam kehidupan sosial budaya masyarakat Indonesia. Aspek pendidikan tidak terlepas dari efek globalisasi, Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin pesat telah membawa dampak tersendiri bagi dunia pendidikan. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, banyak sekolah di Indonesia yang mengadopsi sistem pendidikan internasional. Hal ini terlihat pada sekolah dengan pendekatan dua bahasa (bilingual), yaitu penggunaan Bahasa asing seperti bahasa Inggris dan Mandarin sebagai. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat sesungguhnya yaitu usaha mempertahankan nilai kearifan atau budaya lokal. Bangsa Indonesia harus tegar dan teguh pendirian, sekaligus terbuka dan toleran, agar dapat menyaring dan mengambil kebudayaan asing yang tidak bertentangan dengan norma-norma dan kebudayaan lokal. Sikap teguh pendirian diperlukan untuk menghindari kontaminasi nilai budaya lain lain yang bertentangan dengan norma-norma, etika kebudayaan lokal.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of educational management based on sociocultural values at MTs MILBoS (Maghfirah Islamic Leadership Boarding School) in addressing the challenges of globalization, which threaten the existence of local values. The background of this study includes several issues, such as globalization bringing cultural homogenization, challenges in harmonizing local values with modern education systems, and the lack of a systematic implementation of sociocultural value-based educational management. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, examining five aspects of educational management: curriculum management, school culture, extracurricular activities, transformational leadership, and relationships with local communities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that integrating sociocultural values into the curriculum strengthens students' character in terms of religiosity and collective awareness. An inclusive school culture, skill-based extracurricular activities, and visionary leadership foster innovation in educational management. Synergy with local communities further strengthens social empowerment while preserving cultural identity. This study affirms that an educational approach rooted in sociocultural values is effective in shaping a generation that is adaptive and grounded in local traditions, in line with the theory of social constructivism.

Abstract

The development of science and technology, the implications of which also spread to the world of education, means that education needs to innovate. This also has an impact on curriculum development which needs to adapt to current needs. In its implementation, it is necessary to pay attention to the principles of curriculum development, namely the principles of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency, continuity, flexibility, goal-orientation, as well as the principles of lifelong education. This research uses a library research approach. In this library research, the process of collecting, analyzing, processing and presenting books, journals and texts related to the research theme is carried out as reference material in the form of library reports. Madrasah Aliyah Al Falaahiyyah has started implementing the independent curriculum since last year. Apart from the fact that the ministry requires the implementation of the curriculum, this is an effort for the Madrasah to take a step forward to provide wider space for creativity and innovation in learning. Madrasas strive to present an appropriate curriculum that includes the principles of curriculum development in it. This aims to ensure that the curriculum can be implemented optimally. Overall, the application of these principles ensures that the madrasa curriculum is not only effective in achieving academic and spiritual goals, but also efficient in the use of resources, relevant to the needs of the times, and flexible to support the long-term development of student potential.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems, both personal and global, including lack of clear strategies and methods, low student involvement, effective assessment and feedback, limited resources, the use of technology in learning the Qur'an, advances in science and technology, democratization and moral decadence. So that Islamic education needs to take strategic steps by fixing several internal problems. In essence, Islamic educational institutions must prepare superior human resources who have competitiveness in the face of global competition, so that the management of Qur'anic tahsin learning becomes very important for educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools, to be mastered and implemented by every educational institution. The main objectives of this study are to identify the management of Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning in educational institutions, especially in Al-Qur'an Islamic boarding schools in West Java, namely: 1) analyze the learning planning of Tahsin Al-Qur'an in Pesantren Al-Qur'an in West Java, 2) analyze the implementation of learning Tahsin Al-Qur'an in Pesantren Al-Qur'an in West Java, 3) analyze the results in learning Tahsin Al-Qur'an in the Islamic Boarding School of the Qur'an exist in West Java, 4) analyze supporting and inhibiting factors in learning Tahsin Al-Qur'an in the Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in West Java. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative research which is a response to the presence of something about human existence, not only to understand specific or particular, but all aspects. The results of this study show that Based on the results of a study entitled "Management of Tahsin Al-Qur'an Learning (Pesantren Research in West Java)" it can be concluded that each Islamic boarding school institution has different learning models, learning strategies and ways of evaluating and has different graduation standards so that it has characteristics, pesantren are different even though the same educational institutions are Tahsin al Qur'an pesantren and not all pesantren have management of learning

Abstract

Multicultural education is education for all people without any distinction between one another, Islam as a religion that is Rahmatan Lil alamin which is passed down to humans also pays attention to this matter, Islam emphasizes that there is no difference between humans in the sight of Allah from a cultural aspect. This study aims to examine how the integration of multicultural education with the Koran program at Islamic boarding schools in the Koran village, Sumedang Jabar. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach which aims to describe how the form of integration of multicultural education with the Koran program by collecting data through observation, documentation, and interviews. As for the results of this study Multicultural education is as a sunnatullah an inevitability that cannot be avoided, there is no difference in human views of different races, cultures or religions and beliefs. At Islamic boarding schools, all students have the same educational rights as other students, regardless of those who are able or less fortunate, have high or low economic status, and do not differentiate between facilities, there is no difference, everyone gets the same as the others. Likewise, there is no difference because of ethnicity or language.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development strategy of multicultural Islamic education in Islamic educational institutions. He used the study of literature with a qualitative approach. Learning shows that: first, the foundation of multicultural Islamic Education Development consists of religious, historical, psychological, sociocultural, and geographical foundations. Second, Multicultural Islam The strategy of developing education in Islamic educational institutions can be pursued through two approaches, namely quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative development strategies are by socialization and internalization programs through scientific activities, multicultural educational innovation programs, and building a culture that accommodates the spirit and values of multiculturalism in the Islamic environment of the institution. Meanwhile, the qualitative development strategy is intensive in the Qur'an and Sunnah study programs, curriculum revision programs, education and training programs for educators, and local wisdom programs.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural menjadi krusial dalam mengatasi keberagaman siswa di era globalisasi. Artikel jurnal ini membahas pertimbangan multikultural dalam pengembangan kurikulum, mencakup aspek budaya, sosial, politik, ekonomi, lingkungan, dan globalisasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan pustaka dengan fokus pada pengumpulan dan analisis data dari berbagai sumber literatur. Hasil dan pembahasan menyoroti integrasi nilai multikultural dalam kurikulum untuk menciptakan pendidikan inklusif. Strategi pengembangan pendidikan multikultural, peningkatan kualitas guru, sistem pengelolaan pendidikan, dan peran masyarakat juga dibahas. Tantangan seperti kurangnya sumber daya, perlawanan, kurangnya kesadaran, stereotip, dan pelatihan guru yang kurang diatasi melalui upaya bersama dari guru, sekolah, pemerintah, dan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan pendidikan multikultural memiliki peran kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar inklusif, dan meskipun dihadapi tantangan, upaya bersama dan strategi yang tepat dapat memastikan manfaat signifikan dalam mempromosikan inklusi, pemahaman budaya, dan keragaman dalam pendidikan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi manajemen kurikulum berbasis demokratisasi pendidikan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka di perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen dari beberapa perguruan tinggi yang telah mengadopsi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum yang demokratis melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan, termasuk dosen, mahasiswa, dan tenaga kependidikan dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum. Demokratisasi pendidikan dalam konteks ini mencerminkan adanya kebebasan akademik yang lebih luas, fleksibilitas dalam pemilihan mata kuliah, serta pengembangan kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini juga menemukan tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan kurikulum tersebut, seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kebutuhan akan pelatihan bagi dosen. Kesimpulannya, manajemen kurikulum berbasis demokratisasi pendidikan pada Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka memberikan peluang bagi terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan responsif terhadap dinamika perkembangan global, namun memerlukan komitmen dan kolaborasi yang kuat dari semua pihak terkait.

Abstract

### Abstract This research explores how pesantren, as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, respond to and integrate multicultural values into their curricula and activities. The study employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis from selected pesantren based on geographic variation and their educational approaches to multiculturalism. The findings indicate that pesantren view multiculturalism not only as a response to the ethnic, racial, and religious diversity in Indonesia but also as an expression of Islamic values that recognize diversity as divine will. In terms of curriculum, pesantren have taken proactive steps to integrate multiculturalism by including content that encompasses various cultures and civilizations in Islamic history and promoting significant non-Arab figures. Extracurricular activities, such as student exchanges, joint seminars with religious leaders from other faiths, and multicultural cultural festivals, are also focused on enhancing students' understanding and tolerance of diversity. However, the implementation of these multicultural values faces challenges, including internal resistance from community members who may see this as a threat to traditional Islamic values, as well as limitations in resources and external support. The research also identifies significant opportunities for further development, including the use of technology and collaboration with other educational institutions and international organizations to strengthen multicultural practices. Government support is considered crucial in helping pesantren enhance their multicultural capabilities. With the right approach, pesantren can play a vital role in shaping a more inclusive and adaptive understanding and practice of religion, which is essential to meet the needs of Indonesia's plural society today.
