Medical tourism is increasingly becoming a strategic initiative in enhancing international hospital services, yet empirical evidence on its influence toward patient interest remains limited in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the effect of medical tourism on the interest in international hospital services, using Primaya Hospital Tangerang as a case study. Employing a quantitative causal design, the study involved 150 patients selected through purposive sampling. Medical tourism was treated as the independent variable, and interest in international hospital services as the dependent variable. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and documentation, followed by validity and reliability testing. Statistical analysis utilized classical assumption tests and simple linear regression. The findings indicate that medical tourism significantly and positively influences patient interest in international hospital services, with a regression coefficient of 0.916 and R² of 0.470. This implies that 47% of the variation in patient interest is explained by medical tourism factors such as hospital facilities, administrative services, interactive digital platforms, and destination appeal. The study concludes that a holistic medical tourism approach substantially boosts patient interest, suggesting that hospitals should improve not only medical quality but also non-medical service dimensions to compete in the global medical tourism market.

Purpose – This study examines the impact of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students' critical thinking skills in Buddhist religious education at SMA Bhakti Karya Kaloran, addressing the significance of critical thinking as a core 21st-century competency and the scarcity of research applying PBL in spiritually and contemplatively oriented religious contexts like Buddhism.Method – This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 25 Buddhist students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 21. Findings – The research findings indicate that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0,535. This suggests that 53,5% of the variation in critical thinking ability can be explained by the implementation of the PBL model. The most prominent aspects of the PBL model were social engagement and psychomotor involvement, while the highest dimension of critical thinking was in the interpretative aspect. The significance value (0.000 < 0.05) and the t-value (5.141 > t-table) confirm a significant relationship between the two variables. Research Implications – This study makes an important contribution to enriching the literature on Buddhist education through a participatory and contextual learning approach. However, its limitations lie in the small sample size and the restricted scope to a single school, which prevents the results from being widely generalized. Further research is recommended to employ a larger sample and a more robust experimental design to explore causal relationships and other mediating factors such as learning motivation and the internalization of religious values.

Abstract - This research explores the role of entrepreneurial literacy in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of Accounting Education students class of 2022 at State University of Makassar. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participatory observation techniques involving 14 informants selected through purposive sampling. Research findings indicate that entrepreneurial literacy contributes significantly to transforming students' mindset from job seekers to job creators. The cognitive dimension of entrepreneurial literacy manifests through mastery of business opportunity identification concepts, risk management, and sustainable business strategies. Affectively, changes occur in proactive attitudes, uncertainty tolerance, and innovation orientation. The psychomotor dimension is reflected in applicative capabilities for formulating business plans and implementing micro-enterprises. Nevertheless, gaps remain between theoretical competence and practical implementation requiring strengthening through direct experience. Integration of formal learning and experiential learning becomes key to optimizing entrepreneurial spirit formation that adapts to digital economic paradigm changes.

This study analyzes the influence of the Flypaper Effect on regional expenditure in regencies/cities in South Sulawesi Province, with fiscal capacity as a moderating variable. The Flypaper Effect occurs when regional expenditure is more influenced by transfers from the central government than by Local Revenue (PAD). This research uses secondary data from the Regional Budget (APBD) reports for the years 2021 to 2023 from 24 regencies/cities in South Sulawesi. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the results indicate that central government transfers, particularly the General Allocation Fund (DAU), have a significant impact on regional expenditure, while PAD contributes to a lesser extent. Furthermore, the moderating test results show that fiscal capacity, measured through PAD, does not significantly moderate the relationship between transfer funds and regional expenditure. These findings provide empirical evidence that despite regional fiscal capacity, reliance on central government transfers remains dominant in influencing regional expenditure. This study offers insights for local governments to focus more on increasing PAD to reduce dependence on central transfers and contributes to the development of fiscal decentralization theory

Perceived organizational support will encourage teachers to work optimally. Teachers need to have a feeling that the organization, in this case the school, provides total support. However, serving leadership from the principal is also needed to produce that. This study aims to determine the effect of serving leadership on perceived organizational support. This study involved 148 private high school teachers in Depok City who were estimated through the slovin formula at the 5% significance level. Data were collected through serving leadership and perceived organizational support scale techniques. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Hypotheses were tested using linear regression tests. Results showed that serving leadership has a significant effect on perceived organizational support. In-depth exploration of the indicators that dominate this effect is needed.

Reading proficiency serves as a fundamental cornerstone for academic success, yet children with slow learning difficulties face significant challenges in developing pre-reading skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of integrating Montessori methodology with contextual learning approaches to enhance pre-reading capabilities among slow learners in kindergarten settings. A classroom action research design following the Kemmis and McTaggart model was employed over three weeks at State Kindergarten 1 Kongbeng. Three children aged 4-5 years with identified slow learning difficulties were purposively selected as participants. Data collection utilized structured observation checklists assessing nine pre-reading skill indicators on a four-point scale, implemented across two intervention cycles incorporating Montessori materials within contextual learning frameworks. Baseline assessments revealed significantly low pre-reading abilities across all participants (38-47%). Following the integrated intervention, substantial improvements were observed, with final achievement levels reaching 77-80%. All participants demonstrated notable progress in phonological awareness, letter recognition, sustained attention, and motor coordination skills. The overall improvement rates ranged from 33-39 percentage points, with particularly strong gains in environmental vocabulary and real-world connection capabilities. The findings provide compelling evidence for the effectiveness of integrated Montessori-contextual learning approaches in addressing the specific learning needs of slow learners. The multisensory nature of Montessori materials, combined with meaningful contextual connections, facilitated systematic skill development among children who typically struggle with abstract concept formation. These results support the potential of thoughtfully integrated pedagogical approaches to enhance educational inclusion and prevent future academic difficulties among vulnerable student populations.

Teaching strategies play a crucial role for English teachers and students in achieving the expected learning objectives, especially when teaching narrative texts at Senior High School. Story-mapping strategy is a practical approach to apply in teaching narrative texts because it has numerous influences on improving students' learning. Many previous studies have discussed the effectiveness of the story-mapping strategy. However, it is not explained in depth how the teacher uses the story-mapping strategy in teaching narrative texts, nor are students' perceptions of the use of the story-mapping strategy in teaching narrative texts discussed. This research aims to describe teachers' approaches to using the story-mapping strategy and to investigate students' perceptions of that strategy. To answer that, the researchers conducted interviews, observations, and distributed questionnaires. The method is a qualitative descriptive method. Results show that there are five steps used by the teacher when employing the story-mapping strategy in teaching narrative texts—step 1. The teacher teaches the material using charts—step 2. The teacher introduces the concept of the story-mapping strategy—step 3. The teacher introduces the parts of the story-mapping graphics—step 4. The teacher asks students to reread the narrative story (step 5). The teacher asks students to complete the story-mapping graphics. Regarding the students' perceptions of the use of the story-mapping strategy in teaching narrative texts at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungreja, the students perceive several advantages in using this strategy, categorised into three aspects: students' feelings, teacher performance, and the effect of the story-mapping strategy. Related to aspects of students' feelings, the story-mapping strategy makes the students happy, comfortable, and motivated to learn. Concerning the teacher’s performance, students can learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Lastly, regarding the effect of using the story-mapping strategy, students can improve their ability to understand the material and solve their learning problems.

AbstractThis study aims to improve the ability of subtraction calculation operation of first grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Tarbiyatul Athfal Gembong Pati using abacus media in learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were first grade students of MI Tarbiyatul Athfal which amounted to 29 students by involving the principal as a collaborator and researchers as accompanying teachers and observers. This research was conducted for 2 cycles with data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques use averages and percentages. The research ended if it had reached the predetermined criteria. The results showed that the implementation of the learning process in cycle I reached 96%, while in cycle II it reached 100%. The average score in the pre-cycle stage reached 57.6, in cycle I reached 68.3, and in cycle II reached 77.6. At the pre-cycle stage, students who reached the KKM score amounted to 6 people (20.7%). At the cycle I stage, students who reached the KKM amounted to 18 people (62.1%). At the cycle II stage, students who reached the KKM amounted to 25 people (86.2%) so that it had reached the research completeness criteria of 85%. Abacus media has an impact in improving students' subtraction calculation skills. Therefore, the ability of subtraction calculation operation with abacus media in MI students has increased.

ENGLISHThe pattern of community food consumption in Pati Regency has not been ideal yet in practice. The aims of this study are to find out the policy implementation of local food consumption diversification in Pati Regency, and to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of the policy. This research used qualitative method. The research was conducted in Pati regency, by conducting in-depth interviews to 18 (eighteen) informants from related agencies and targetted groups/communities. The data analyses include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research showed that the policy implementation of diversification of local food consumption in Pati Regency did not run well. There were 4 factors that impeded the policy implementation: (1) Communications, the delivery of policy content/socialization to policy implementers has not conducted well; (2) Resources, inadequate human resource in terms of quantity and quality. The agencies actively involved were only 7 (seven) of 11 (eleven) related agencies; (3) Organizational structure, the preparation of SOP was too late so it did not support effectively the implementation the policy; and (4) Communities attitudes towards local food, the communities considered that local food was "out of date and ndeso" and tended to like foods that were considered modern. INDONESIAPola konsumsi pangan masyarakat Kabupaten Pati belum ideal. Pemerintah Kabupaten Pati mengeluarkan Perda Nomor 28 Tahun 2010 tentang Kebijakan Percepatan Penganekaragaman Konsumsi Pangan Berbasis Sumber Daya Lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan diversifikasi konsumsi pangan lokal di Kabupaten Pati, dan melakukan analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Pati, dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada 18 (delapan belas) informan yang berasal dari instansi yang melaksanakan kebijakan diversifikasi konsumsi pangan lokal, dan kelompok sasaran / masyarakat. Analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan diversifikasi konsumsi pangan lokal di Kabupaten Pati tidak berjalan dengan baik. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat implementasi kebijakan: (1) Komunikasi, penyampaian isi kebijakan/sosialisasi kepada para pelaksana kebijakan tidak dilakukan dengan baik; (2) Sumber daya, dukungan sumber daya manusia yang kurang baik dari segi jumlah maupun kualitasnya. Instansi yang terlibat hanya 7 (tujuh) dari 11 (sebelas) instansi pelaksana; (3) Struktur organisasi, penyusunan SOP terlambat sehingga tidak efektif mendukung pelaksanaan kebijakan; dan (4) Sikap masyarakat terhadap pangan lokal, masyarakat menganggap bahwa makanan lokal adalah makanan yang “kuno dan ndeso” dan lebih cenderung ke pangan lainnya seperti roti dan western food yang dianggap modern.

Companies play a crucial role in communicating environmental accounting information to stakeholders. This study aims to examine the influence of green innovation, carbon emission disclosure, and environmental costs on firm value, as well as the role of industry type as a moderating variable. This study used 260 financial statements and sustainability reports from manufacturing, mining, and financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019–2023 period. Data analysis was performed using STATA statistical software. The results show that green innovation and carbon emission disclosure do not significantly influence firm value. Environmental costs also have no significant effect, and industry type does not moderate the relationship between green innovation, carbon emission disclosure, or environmental costs and firm value. These findings indicate that companies' sustainability practices have not been appreciated by the market as a factor that increases firm value. Perusahaan memiliki peran penting dalam mengkomunikasikan informasi akuntansi lingkungan kepada para pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh green innovation, carbon emission disclosure, dan biaya lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan, serta peran tipe industri sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 260 data laporan keuangan dan laporan keberlanjutan dari perusahaan manufaktur, pertambangan, dan keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019–2023. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software statistik STATA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa green innovation dan carbon emission disclosure tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Biaya lingkungan juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan, dan tipe industri tidak memoderasi hubungan antara green innovation, carbon emission disclosure, maupun biaya lingkungan dengan nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa praktik keberlanjutan yang dilakukan perusahaan belum diapresiasi oleh pasar sebagai faktor yang meningkatkan nilai perusahaan.
