Palm oil processing represents a vital industry in Indonesia, which exported over 36 million tons of palm oil products in 2019. Sterilization is a critical process in palm oil extraction that directly impacts product quality and processing efficiency. This study presents a comprehensive engineering analysis and design specification for a horizontal sterilizer pressure vessel with a 14-ton capacity used in palm oil processing. Using a rational design methodology, we documented and analyzed the specifications of a sterilizer system operating at pressures of 2.8-3.0 kg/cm² and temperatures of 135-140°C. The research includes detailed calculations of vessel dimensions, wall thickness requirements, and volume characteristics. Results yielded comprehensive specifications including a vessel length of 21.5 m, diameter of 3 m, wall thickness of 15 mm, and total volume of 151.9 m³. These parameters establish a complete engineering basis for sterilizer design, fabrication, and maintenance. The study contributes to the limited scholarly literature on palm oil processing equipment design and provides valuable reference material for engineers developing similar systems. This documentation of industrial knowledge bridges the gap between theoretical pressure vessel design and practical applications in the palm oil industry.

The study aims to analyze the effect of financial leverage, company size and sales volatility which is proxied by Agency Theory. The populations in this study are trading, service and investment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a total sample of 42 companies. The analysis of the study uses multiple regressions. We find several results showed that financial leverage and company size had a positive and significant effect on earnings persistence. Furthermore, sales volatility had a positive but not significant effect on earning persistence. Moreover, the study suggests adding other variables that are closely related to earnings persistence. It also suggests increasing the period of years, samples and objects of research in addition to trading companies, services and investments in order to obtain better results

We are working on a research design that explores the experiences of Accounting Lecturers throughout Indonesia, how they experience learning online in the field of Accounting. Accounting has its characteristics in the learning process. Accounting is a combination of deepening thinking intelligence, use of mathematical logic, and expertise in preparing financial reports. We use a Qualitative paradigm with a Complex Phenomenology approach, combining in-depth interviews to gather information on several informants while distributing survey questionnaires. The results show various problems that arise in online learning. We have examined high-stress levels separately what triggers stress and what are the factors that can relieve stress. The contribution of this work is certainly useful for universities to design accounting learning systems to reduce various weaknesses and problems that arise

The advancement of technology has given rise to the phenomenon of user-generated content (UGC), which presents an intriguing subject for investigation through various perspectives. This paper aims to conduct an analysis of journal articles focusing on UGC within the context of the Instagram social media platform. To achieve this, the paper employs a systematic literature review (SLR) research method, adhering to the PRISMA protocol, focusing specifically on journal articles discussing UGC on Instagram. The literature search was conducted in April 2023 using the keywords "UGC" and "Instagram" in the Scopus database. After a series of exclusions, the research examined 30 journal articles relevant to the topic. Eight research questions were addressed based on the conceptual framework, document characteristics, and content dimensions. The analysis results reveal that UGC offers numerous advantages to the communication and marketing industry. These benefits can be realized through the application of specific strategies tailored to the characteristics of Instagram users.

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies such as Microsoft Copilot has brought significant changes to professional work practices, particularly in the automation of daily tasks. This study aims to: (1) explore employees' motivations for using Microsoft Copilot; (2) identify the forms of gratification experienced by users; and (3) understand the subjective experiences and personal meanings constructed using this technology. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with employees at a technology company and analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding. The findings reveal that work efficiency, ease of information access, and the drive for creative exploration are the main motivations for using Copilot. The study also uncovers various forms of gratification such as delegated knowing, linguistic empowerment, paradox of agency, and localization gratification, reflecting the complex interaction between humans and AI in digital workspaces. This research contributes to the development of the Uses and Gratifications theory in the context of AI-based technologies and offers practical insights for organizations seeking to integrate AI more effectively into the workplace.

This article describes the antopometry study of dining chair and dining table furniture at the 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken restaurant located in Plaza Medan Fair building, Medan City, North Sumatra. Based on field observations, the dining table and dining chairs in that restaurant are uncomfortable when used in dining activities, so a deeper study of anthropometry and ergonomics is needed. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is used to describe the mebel being studied, while quantitative data is used to process data taken from the distribution of questionnaires regarding the comfort level of customers who eat using the mebel. Literature studies on standard benchmarks for mebel sizes are also used to support and strengthen existing data. The results of this study indicate that the dining table and dining chairs used in the restaurant 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken do not meet antopometry and ergonomics standards so that customers feel uncomfortable when eating activities in the restaurant. Illegal fishing is a crime that causes one party to suffer losses. Consequently, fishing activities in Indonesian waters must adhere to the regulations. The purpose of creating a legal regulation is to establish a provision and legal protection in order to maintain peace within an organisation in the event of a conflict. In this instance, the existence of panglima laot in carrying out the function of customary law is one of the role models for the order of community life in resolving the issue of unauthorized fishing on Rumpon Unjam or other people's platforms. This research seeks to determine how the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing in Rumpun Unjam is governed by customary law with the function of panglima laot, as well as the review of Islamic law on the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing in Rumpon Unjam under customary law with the function of panglima laot. This research uses field research as its methodology. Among the methods of data collection are observation and interviews. The findings of this study indicate that the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing crimes in Rumpon Unjam, which are resolved by customary law by the Sea commander, is appropriate because the customary law imposed on the perpetrator requires a deterrent effect so that he or she will not repeat the same act by receiving appropriate sanctions for the sake of justice for the victim. According to a review of Islamic law, the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing crimes in Rumpun Unjam people who are resolved by custom by the commander of the laot is in accordance with the punishment recommended by the Qur'an because it uses ta'zir law, which is a punishment decision from the regional ruler, and the punishment imposed is appropriate retribution for the actions committed. When viewed from the victim's perspective, the imposed punishment is consistent with Islamic law because it satisfies the victim's sense of justice.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the accrual-based government accounting system at the village government level, especially in Dompu District, Dompu Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants selected were village government financial management officials who had direct knowledge of the accounting practices applied. The results of the study indicate that although financial management officials in Dompu District did not fully understand the definition of accrual-based accounting, they had implemented several basic principles of the system in financial recording. The implementation of the accrual-based accounting system in these villages experienced challenges, especially related to the separation between budget accounting and financial accounting, as well as a lack of understanding of the complexity of the resulting financial reports. Nevertheless, most villages in Dompu District have recognized changes in equity and long-term liabilities in accordance with the accrual principle, although there are still obstacles in budget management that affect recording. This study provides insight into the challenges and implementation of the accrual-based accounting system at the village government level, as well as the importance of training and a deeper understanding of accrual-based accounting at the local level.
